Do you like constantly having your prescriptions delayed and out of stock? Do you like being treated like an illegal immigrant at a pro-ICE Rally? Do you like pharmacies that temporarily close also prolonging you getting your prescription? Then this is pharmacy for you. I realize retail pharmacy and staff are just a notch above the average convenient store worker, but at least the convenience store worker smiles at me when handing me my lottery ticket. The service and reliability of this store is horrendous! I do not recommend. read more

I gave four stars because Julia at the pharmacy desk who gives the vaccinations was awesome. She was definitely very busy, but was polite to all customers and took the time to vaccinate my daughter. I think this would be a great location if they would assign task more properly. They seemed to be very well staffed the day I went just poor delegation skills on part of management. read more

You all are as smart as a box of Rocks! A big chunk of your clientele is working folks especially in the oil fields and your pharmacy closes at 6, and is not open on Saturday? If it were me I would not be open on Monday and Tuesday and stay open all weekend. Or open a noon and stay open to 8:00 pm. Pharmacy is horrible! Waited in line over an hour for me to get to the window and they close it for lunch. I get they have a lunch break but waiting an hour when there was only 4 or 5 cars in line. They need to get a better system going that makes it easier to pick up prescriptions! read more

Don't do the curb side delivery. Especially if you are unable to load your stuff yourself or are disabled. We went to pick up an order for an elderly couple who are unable to drive. It's a good thing that we went because they would have been unable to get their things. The lady brought their toilet paper out to the truck but then promptly informed us that we needed to bring the dolly with the water cases out ourselves and load it ourselves. My significant other and I were already planning on loading it ourselves because it was six cases of waters, but the fact that they could not or even wanted to bring the dolly of waters out the door is embarrassing frankly. The lady just stood at the door watched my fiancé bring the dolly out and watched us load it. read more

Dropped off prescription for Blood thinner meds and got a call next day telling me it was delayed. Called the next day 3 times was in hold for 10 mins or more each time and was hung up on. Same the next day. The third day I went to store and they tell me if I drive back thru the drive thru they will have it ready.! So I guess I'd still be waiting for a call from Walgreens if I hadn't showed up in person to demand my medicine. I am appalled at the service this company settles for. This place (namely the pharmacy) is clearly over taxed, and under staffed. Wait times for prescriptions are near the silly point. Staff is friendly, and I feel for them every time I am there. However, Walgreens needs to step up their efforts in Carlsbad regarding the pharmacy. The rest of the store is not bad. Was in store yesterday to get a passport photo for husband, friendly staff helped with process. Charged $20.00 for photo . Today I came in to get my passport photo done & here's where it ALL went wrong... was met by an employee named Anoria (not the most pleasant person), asked for my phone to take picture, hooked phone to photo machine to upload photo & walked away, leaving me to do the whole process myself. I informed her that I was done & she informed me I could pick it up later as she didn't have time. Currently there is only 1 other customer in store & 4 employees on the floor. I POLITELY informed her I had other appointments & needed to wait, she simply turned & walked away. I sat down, approximately 10 minutes later another employee walked passed & asked if she could help me with anything. I informed her I was waiting on my passport photo, she immediately got it for me.... This review is for the pharmacy!!! If I could give negative stars I would!! This place has horrible customer service!! They lost my prescription, found it, & said it would be ready in an hour. So 3 hours later I go to pick up my script, and it wasn't ready. I was told its not covered by my insurance, well probably because I don't have insurance! So then the lady asks me to come back after one hour so she can cash my Rx out and fill it for me!!!!! Are you serious?!?!? Needless to say I didn't go back for it, I had it transferred to La Tienda pharmacy instead. Thankfully they were competent and had it transferred and filled in less than half an hour. The dark haired girl working the Pharmacy window late morning on Saturday, May 16, 2020, was hands down the absolute rudest, most hateful, snotty, unfriendly, and borderline insulting person I have ever encountered. My family fills a lot of scripts and we will never send another script to this Walgreens ever again. I've never been talked to like such trash before in all my life. Walgreens should be ashamed of itself for even hiring someone like this. Not only will I never do business with this pharmacy, but I will drive entirely out of my way to CVS for any other quick shopping. Walgreen's Pharmacy in Carlsbad NM is horrible!!! I have had so much trouble getting my medication filled here. For example today I went to pick up a prescription that had been available for refill since 11/14/2022. Called and they said it would be ready. I went to the pharmacy on 11/16/2022 and the woman inside told me it wasn't ready and could I wait a while and they would get it filled. I said sure I will actually come back in a few minutes and pick it up... So i go back two hours later and drove in to the the lane to pick up the prescription. I was the first one in line. He said I will have to fill it. Then he ask me to pull around so the others lined up behind me could be taken care of??? My mistake was in not saying NO and demanding he fill mine first... So I leave the drive through and go inside to the pharmacy and stood in line. The person in front of me was sharing the same experience of not getting scripts filled for days and always having to go back. So when I get the window the woman asks my name etc and she says it's not ready would you give us a few minutes. I said I want to know why it takes so long to fill a script that was supposedly filled two days ago? She goes to the pharmacist and asks him about my script and he says She's already here? Ok I'm mad now!!! So I wait and at this point it's going to take a bulldozer to move me. I ask her what the problem is about filling prescriptions and she ignores me. I wasn't being rude I was honestly wondering why. So I get the medication pay and tell her to not worry because she will never see my face again and I don't ever want to see her!!! DOUBLE DOSED MY CHILD: Absolutely the most incompetent people I have ever met... PERIOD!!! Every single time we pick up prescriptions there is a problem... I have an easier time potty training my kids than explaining things to these people. This week was the final straw and is why I'm writing this review... So one of my kids gets an ear infection and is prescribed a mild liquid antibiotic. Upon reaching the half way point of the medication we realize were almost out. Thinking they just didn't give us enough we went to the pharmacy and were told by the pharmacist that the antibiotic was not diluted properly and that my son should be ok since he was given the higher dose just under less time. Double dosed!!! Heaven forbid this wasn't something that could have been toxic or harmful if taken in excess! They weren't even worried about the situation at all! read more

Along with these other reviewers I would also give this place negative stars if I could. We got to the drive thru at 8:05 pm, there were 2 cars ahead of us. They spent almost 45 minutes with one customer, then helped the next, by the time it was our turn they already closed the window. They should have helped the customers who were already waiting in line for an hour or more before closing. Also, the website is not the most user friendly and could use some improvement as well. We will be finding a new pharmacy to fill our prescriptions from now on. Clearly, customer service is not a priority with this place. read more

PHARMACY ONLY!!!! I dropped off a prescription for pain medicine for my husband who has a broken back following a car accident. Just shy of five hours later he called the pharmacy to see if it was ready. The automated system put him on hold, hung up on him after 25 minutes, when he called back there was still no answer, then I drove to the pharmacy while on a merged call with him and them. There were four employees, including one pharmacist, in the pharmacy. There was one other person at the counter and one in line before me. They hadn't even dropped his prescription into the system. Five hours later and the paper prescription hasn't even left the counter pile. The tech even gave me attitude as she was walking away when I asked why they couldn't even answer the phone. Took the prescription to Walmart, had his medicine in his hand just over an hour later. Go to LITERALLY ANY OTHER PHARMACY if you want your medication handled right. read more

This pharmacy is horrible! They lied to me about calling for insurance verification (insurance NEVER received a call from them) stating that I would owe $341! Insurance called me back after speaking with them and told me it was a ZERO balance due. Also, they said all my prescriptions were ready and had to go back FIVE times to get ALL five. They also told me my doctor had not called in the prescription, again contacted doctor this time, and said she in fact HAD called and would call them again. Amazingly, the second call from her they filled it. They need to get their act together. They waste people's time having to do repeat visits that are not necessary. Don't they understand I need these prescriptions and don't feel like driving back and forth all day long because of their incompetence? Then they tell you you will get a call when they are ready - how many did I get for all FIVE of my visits? NONE!!!!!!! Horrible, horrible service and I agree with everyone else, they deserve negative stars!!! THANK HEAVENS CVS IS HERE AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE BETTER! read more
