They are understaffed both in the pharmacy and front end. Also, the front end person I spoke to didn't even know if they sell milk! The last time I went the person I spoke with didn't know where women's supplements were. How do you work there and not know these things? read more

I receive phone calls, texts and messages my RX are filled and and ready to be picked up. I get there, 2 days in a row, and they cant find it. I drive the whole way back home, 25 miles, and get a phone call it just came in on the truck so it is ready to be picked up. I have more problems with them. Cant wait to switch. read more

I like Walgreens in Butler. It is the only place that still developes pictures for we older adults that use a camera. It is also the only place that I can find Jean Nate body splash. I have had more than one HORRIBLE experience. The first was with the photo department and the second one was through the pharmacy for a vaccine. Both times, the website messed up and I had proof. I asked for their help and was very rudely dealt with in person at the store as well as when I called and spoke with a representative. It is one thing to have a bad experience. However, more than one and treated poorly is unacceptable in my eyes. Do yourself a favor and go to a store (pharmacy) that values you as the customer. read more

This is the most horrific overall experience I have ever encountered at a Pharmacy. Unfortunately, my wife insisted on using Walgreens I have no apparent influence over her decision. I personally use Rite Aid and am very pleased with them. So first of all, the store has an automated phone system that is annoying. Calls the house regularly to give unnecessary trivial updates regarding the prescriptions. As compared to Rite Aid's system which just contacts me to inform me my prescription is available for pick up. If I need to speak to the Pharmacist, I call and quickly get through. At this Walgreens if you call your experience will likely go like this (it is the only experience I have ever had every time I call). The automated system will give you 5 options the last of which is "other reason". It then puts you into a holding list and informs you that "the staff is busy assisting other callers and you have 'x' callers in front of you". Seems like it is an unreasonably long period then the message changes to "x-1" callers in front of you. You wait and wait then "x-2". Wait, wait, wait...you get frustrated; decide what is likely happening is the callers ahead of you are getting frustrated and hanging up...that's why the number is reducing so slowly. You finally hang up. Today we really needed to speak to someone. In error we indicated to the annoying automated system that a prescription needed to be refilled; there is no way to cancel that refill order through the automated system...so you must speak to a staff member. I waited on hold for over 50 minutes, going from "4 ahead of you", to "3 ahead of you", "2"...you get the idea. Finally, it's my turn. Ringing, oh thank God! Ring, ring, ring, ring...no answer. Hold music. Ring, ring, ring, ring...no answer. Just like the shampoo bottle says..."ring and repeat". Nine cycles; I finally gave up. Hung up. And wrote the review. Take my advice, choose any other pharmacy in Butler. Guess I'll drive to the store, where I will likely be ignored at the counter also. read more

Horrible customer service! Of all the reviews I've ever written, this is the only one where I wish I could rate them with -5 (negative) stars. They cheated me out of $7 and could have cared less about it and to add insult to injury, I never got my $7 back. I'll never go back! read more

The store staff is friendly, however the pharmacy manager Michael N. put forth very little effort in helping me to resolve a miscommunication with my insurance prescription plan. He gave me the prescriptions, for my two young children, back saying he had "exhausted all of his resources". I went home found the information myself, in ten minutes, brought it back to him asking why he didn't do this instead of making my children wait for their antibiotics, breathing treatments, and steroids... And he told me that he was now refusing to fill Thor prescriptions because I was being disrespectful telling him how to do his job, and recommended I go to rite aide. We did, I advise you do the same. They don't have a drive through, but they care for their customers and will do their work properly. read more

I went to Walgreens in Butler, PA about a year ago for a purchase. I didn't know they had a frozen food section. I bought a store brand, crispy thin - crust BBQ Chicken pizza. It's really thin crust {my favorite} and I swear it's the best thing I've ever eaten. Just wanted you to know the pizza is so good and I buy one every week. I go to Walgreens for many things because it's such a nice store and everyone is so nice and helpful, but I never leave without my BBQ Chicken pizza. Thanks! read more
