This time, I went in and went to the consultation desk because I had a question that needed answered there. Pharmacist was super nice. He had pulled my medication from the shelf. He told me I would have to get in the other line to pay, totally fine. I waited and got to the kiosk, and I informed the tech that he had already pulled my medication. I wasn't sure if they still needed my info. She got snippy with me at this point. Mind you, I had seen her be snippy with another customer bc she had multiple individuals she was picking up for. I got stern with her, did not yell but definitely raised my voice when she was asking which pharmacist pulled my medication and acted like I was lying. At this point I was irritated because of the situation. She then checked me out and said "have a nice day" in a condescending voice, to which I gave no response. She then said "or not" to me. Never in my life would I have thought it was okay to mouth off to a customer. So every person who doesn't respond to you saying that you mouth off???? And to top it off, I turned around to say something back, and she was already gone from the counter. Ran to the back like a coward after being unprofessional. Driving into work in this weather is incredibly dangerous and I am absolutely horrified that corporate demanded their pharmacy staff come into work this morning. CVS is focused solely on one thing and that is money. The lack of concern for their staff's safety is deplorable and infuriating. CVS corporate is selfish and cares more about money than keeping their employees safe. It's laughable to me that these higher-ups demand their morning pharmacy staff drive at 7 am in the dark unplowed roads meanwhile they are at home in their safe and warm homes. I appreciate that level of service- and so, I do recommend them. They do have a good selection of medical supplies, and they are the closest compounding pharmacy. Worth it to stop in. She unilaterally made this decision, apparently under the mistaken belief that I was "drug seeking". She did not bother to call the prescribing surgeon. She was adamant and unreasonable. No amount of rational discussion was persuasive. If humiliation was her goal, she succeeded. So, I went to another nearby pharmacy that willingly filled it without the smug condescension and not-so-subtle accusation. The legal support (in Indiana) for this kind of blunt refusal is somewhat ambiguous, though it seems reasonable to expect that a trained pharmacist would at least contact the prescriber with any legitimate medical concerns. Note to CVS: Absent 6-12 years worth of medical school + residency + fellowship(s) + board licensure(s), a person with a Pharm.D is not a physician. I no longer do business at this pharmacy.

It has taken me over 3 months to get a prescription straightened out. They kept saying they would send a message to my Dr, and it wouldn't happen. Also, every time I go in, they have to redo each of my scripts because they are not billing my insurance. This last time, I had to get out of line, go to the drop off counter, wait for it to be fixed, and then get back in line all over again. It was over 30 minutes to pick up one prescription that was ready, and wait for them to fix their mistake.

Recently found a disposable camera from 11years ago and came here to get the film developed. So when I went to pick up the pictures they could only find them because I had kept the ticket you get when you send the camera in. The younger gentlemen who found the ticket was great, very helpful and nice. However, not only was the (I'm assuming supervisor) woman who set up the account negligent, but she was rude in an arrogant, unwarranted way, and was like that when dropping off and receiving the photos. I would say if you're looking to get photos developed, go literally anywhere else. If this happened and someone was to lose or throw away their ticket, they probably wouldn't have a way to get their photos back.

I really like this smaller CVS and would use more often if not so difficult getting in and out of…read morethe parking lot. Medians both on Rockville Road and Lynhurst means you can't just cross the street into the parking lot. The store itself has always been clean and organized, the staff friendly and the pharmacist happy to answer any questions. Because the store is smaller you'll find less options of brands and sizes but you can find all the basic necessities. Needed TP today and they had several brands and types, just not mine. Again, had I been completely out, I had options to select from. I haven't used the photo department but appears each time I'm in checkout lane there is a problem or wait. Maybe just understaffed or customer using for first time. Don't let traffic, medians or corner location stop you from visiting. Just remember those functional medians and traffic lights.
