First of all these are very rude people. I have been forced to use them as my military insurance decided to not longer cover Walmart and most private pharmacies. It seem there is some kickback going on to only be able to use Walgreens. Also I now have to pay Walgreen some addition cost even though I have both Medicare AND Tricare and still have to pay more. How is that possible for two insurance companies for common prescription medications. I never had any additional cost at Walmart or Sam's or anywhere else. And on top to have to put up with the rude people. I have lived in Missouri retiring for 14 years and especially have not run into anyone here rude. It seems that this Bolivar Walgreens has gone out of their way to hire or allow this level of rudeness. I am speaking most of what I observed in several customers while waiting for my own prescription. I am generous with two stars. read more

I have copd and use an inhaler . My insurance allows me a 90 day supply . I picked up my prescription at Walgreens in Bolivar , MO . When I got home I found that they had given me the wrong inhaler . I took my prescription back to Walgreens and talked to the Druggist about it telling her that I cannot use the generic inhaler that they had gave me because the generic type has some kind of powder that plugs up and does not work after a very short time . She told me that my brand had been discontinued and so , without contacting me or my health care provider , they had made the decision to change my prescription . She said that they would not take back the generic brand that they had given me and my insurance will not pay for another prescription for 90 days . They called my health provider and got a prescription for another inhaler that I can use but I have to pay full price .So here I am without medication unless I pay full price for it without any help from my insurance . I will have to pay for my inhalers for the next 90 days but I will buy them somewhere else . i am on a fixed income and this is an expense I didn't need . read more

By far the worst pharmacy experience ever, the technicians are poorly trained and incompetent. When they don't know how to do something they tell you it can't be done but I was a Walgreens Senior technician and buyout coach for five years I am very familiar with company policies and how the pharmacy operating system works and have had to do step by step walkthroughs with their technicians to show them how to do their jobs. It is sad how far Walgreens has fallen in the last few years, a senior technician used to be an employee that could essentially run the pharmacy by themselves now it's just a fancy title for someone that is just as inept at their job as the rest of them. I hope one day they will pull it together and realize when dealing with peoples medications you need a competent staff. This is not a business you can afford a lot of mistakes in. read more

over the phone a very non customer affect. "You're not the only customer." Geeze, I thought I WAS. my wife is also sick and has been waiting there for more than an hour because of a doctors error, now has to wait for a scheduled hour because of walgreen rules....despicable. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to always a long waiting and no organization why are people standing around when lines are building up

Just moved to Bolivar from another state. In the confusion, I forgot to order one of my medications. I asked Walgreens for a few pills to cover me until my net order was filled but they were more interested in following the rules even tho I had taken we need this med for several years. Disappointed they were more interested in rules than my health. read more
