Geez talk about terrible customer service. Came here for a Pick up order for my parter and I came in and told the older lady I'll grab the item instead of them grabbing it for me because I really need it so they don't need to pack it. I come back to them and she told me she got someone to cancel it. Okay I get it- miscommunication. Then goes and rabbles about it to another coworker woman who was a little bigger with black hair what happened with attitude. They told me to reorder. I'm there trying to reorder a pick up they cancelled and she's tapping her fingers to hurry me up. There wasn't even an apology for what just happened just this girl giving me attitude. I ended up just going to the cashier mumbling she's done when her interaction with me was not even 3 minutes long. Why work here if you're lazy and you hate it? Do you treat all your customers with this entitlement? Thankfully a nicer gentleman helped me out at the cashier. read more

I do not like leaving negative reviews. I always strive to be positive and love Yelp to use to support local businesses. However, this Walgreens needs to hear how horrible they really are. I cringe having to come here and only do every so often to print out some pictures. First, the photo machine is disgusting. It's covered in a thick, crummy, smudgy, sticky screen that you have to touch. Then when your picture order is placed, I find myself walking all over the store trying to find an employee who might be willing to help. There are rarely employees around and always have a difficult time finding anyone to help. There are long lines because......no employees are working! The employees who are there are rude, unfriendly, and honestly, not sure how they could have been qualified to be hired. Lastly, the store typically has homeless people walking in and out if the store and am always followed and hassled getting to my car with them begging for money and harassing. This store is scary, gross, and hate coming here. I'm still searching for other locations to get pictures to never have to come here again. read more

This review is based on my most recent shopping trip (March 27, 2020) amid coronavirus pandemic in order to share my experience with others. I could not believe my eyes! Their website said this location had several CLOROX DISINFECTING WIPES in stock. Believe it or not, buy one get one free! Now I only shop when I absolutely have to. Also, I had avoided going into pharmacies, but I mustered my courage and went in only to find an empty shelf where the wipes should be. I was told by the cashier that they don't update the online information often. So, here's the takeaway. Don't trust the information they put out online. They even say how many they have in stock, but it's not accurate or not up to date. Good location right off the highway in the middle of the shopping area of Bellingham. Stopped here a few times on my my to the Canadian border and I usually experience chaotic service. I've printed and picked up photos here and today's order was less than what was advertised. I ordered a cube photo display and the quality was really poor. I could see the tear lines on the edges and the paper was taped on a cube which had some rips and scratches. Reg price is $30 for a 3 x3 but and added a promo code to knock the price to 18. read more

Stopped off this morning to pick up a prescription and was pleasantly surprised as I made my way to the pharmacy! Every employee I passed smiled and said good morning! How nice is that?!! My prescription was not quite ready.. ok not a problem but when it was, I questioned "why so expensive ?" The pharmacy tech told me the doctors office checked off that it could be processed with a more expensive option. I asked about the standard option. Turns out that one was free! Glad I asked and not the fault of Walgreens sounds like. The tech prepared it and it only took a few minutes and I was in my way! Thanks so much Walgreens management!! I am liking the new normal! Within the past few years, we moved our prescriptions here / and this Walgreens became our go to pharmacy. However as of this evening, Walgreens: we have a problem:( We went to the drive through for a prescription pick up. Three cars ahead of us. Ok , it's after work, a busy time so we waited. When we got to the window, we saw that there was no one around in the pharmacy area. No other employees or customers. And if it had been busy, maybe there should have been a second person during the busy time a mThe second thing was the cashier was short with us, rude and did not have any common manners i.e. "please" and "thank you" would have been so nice after the extended wait. Why have endless booster time slots open if you don't have product to back it up? Set appointment days in advance. Got off work early to make appointment. Get to Meridian Walgreens just to have them tell me that they're out of vaccine. Ran out earlier in the day. No phone call. No email. Pharmacist was very rude and literally shrugged his shoulders. "We probably tried to call you" and walked off. They had not. Woman at counter was nice but had no further direction for me. Guess I'll figure this out on my own. read more

Mr. Parag is a very kind, understanding and knowledgeable person. A friend referred me to this Walgreen location, and I am glad he did. Thanks to you I did not have to go through the frustration of driving around to different pharmacies in town to find the test I needed . Your expert advice on COVID-19 testing plus your knowledge on B Complex injections and other medication was extremely helpful. My special thanks to the entire pharmacy staff. This is one of those Walgreen's locations that always seems to be busy. And how could they not be? They're centrally located, open 24 hours, and the local hospital ER refers patients there in droves. So while I wouldn't necessarily stop at this one if I was in a hurry to fill a prescription (a recent 90-minute wait taught me that lesson) it's definitely a handy spot to run and grab toiletries, off-the-shelf meds, or any of your usual drug-store variety stuff. I also love their after-holiday specials, where you can get supplies for next year's festivities for 75% off if you time it right! Be sure to watch for their coupons and join their rewards club, too, as it's a great way to save money. A buddy and I went in for allergy pills. It was 1:30pm. 2 cashiers working in the pharmacy and only one was helping someone. I walked right up and started the transaction. When the other person was finished the checker told my buddy they were closing for lunch. Then proceeded to stand there while I was finishing up my transaction talking to the other checker. They finished up my transaction and literally shut the door on us. He was the only other person in line. The first checker easily could have helped him. My checker should have helped him. Absolutely unbelievable how horrible of customer service it was. read more

Scheduled COVID booster and shingles vaccine appt. online. Completed forms on website to "expedite the process" in store. Still made me complete the same form in person - what a waste of my time. I have a MAJOR insurance carrier, after nearly an hour still can't figure out how to process my insurance to authorize vaccines. Called my insurance co., they were incredulous that they don't know how to process. "Ask for someone else, must be a trainee". Trainee arguing that it's my problem. Senior pharmacist now trying to process, still haven't figured it out. How could Walgreens not know how to process vaccine request with a major insurance co, even with the insurers customer service rep providing feedback on what they might be doing wrong!!! read more

Went here for a covid test and the Pharmacy staff was VERY accomodating and compassionate. You could see the smiles on their faces even as they pull through during the pandemic. Special mention for Parag as he was ready to answer all and every questions we had. The results came back in a few hours, much faster than we had expected. Would give more stars if possible and will be going back here for any future testing. Great team work!! read more

Had a FedEx package to pick up that was being held and had arrived Labor Day per tracking. Manager takes a minute sorting through packages and says it's not there and FedEx doesn't deliver on Labor Day so come back later. Calls over another employee to confirm yup no deliveries came on Labor Day. Not until I explain that I'll call FedEx does the manager bother to enter the tracking number. Confirms yes the package came on Labor Day and spends several more minutes looking and says it was in the wrong spot. No apologies or anything just here's your package. read more

I just had a unbelievably horrible experience with guy Mr. Parag Paranjee (sp?)! He is apparently the pharmacy manager! I just moved back to Bellingham but have been using Walgreens for over 20yrs. I have NEVER had a pharmacist try to act like a doctor & tell me what I should or shouldn't be talking instead of just giving me my meds! I have a team of spine specialist & a reputable pain mgmt Dr that prescribed the treatment of meds that I get & I'm monitored monthly! The worst part was they gave me the wrong pills! It's very clear in their files for me that I cannot take a certain pill from a manufacturer because I have a allergic reaction to it, the skin in my mouth peels & bleeds! I didn't realize the mistake until late that night when I opened the bag! *Note* they gave me the correct medication the month before & I didn't even have to remind them! I called the pharmacy to report the wrong meds & the manager Mr Parag got rude and kept saying that it was my fault not theirs, my allergies are of no concern to him, and then he hung up on me!!! I reported this to my insurance company and am reporting HIM to Walgreens headquarters!! read more

Walgreen's is a fun place to go, where somehow, I remember all those things on my list that I forget to pick up. Light bulbs? Check! Blank CDs? Check! Arizona Teas (on coupon)? Check! Tip for Walgreen's...check out their weekly flyer for coupon deals, I have bought all kinds of ordinary home supplies with Walgreen's coupons that make things much cheaper. And they have the flyer right inside the door when you walk in! I have had entire orders where I saved more than I spent due to the coupons I used. Anyway, I know it is just a drugstore, but it's fun. read more

I had several things to pick up at Walgreen's yesterday. I am handicapped and have trouble walking, but do okay if I have a shopping cart. I stopped at the Meridian Street store in Bellingham, WA. I went in and was surprise to find no carts available. I asked a clerk where they were and was told they are no longer allowed in the store. She gave me a small plastic basket I could pull around like a wagon. This did not help with my ability to walk and was too small to hold what I needed to purchase. I was unable to get around the store to get everything I needed and had to try to balance what I could fit into the basket and try to carry what didn't fit. None of the people working there attempted to help me at all, even when I had paid and had to get things to my car. The cashier said I could use the basket to take my stuff to the car as long as I brought it back in as they are really not allowed to leave the store. I don't know if all Walgreen's are now doing this, but, if so, I'm done with them. Other stores have carts that can't leave their parking lots and I'm sure Walgreen's could afford them. read more

This is a fairly sizable Walgreens, with lots of aisles filled with your standard drugstore needs. They had some really interesting seasonal beers, including a Pumpkin Porter and an Oktoberfest Hefeweizen. And many of their wines were on sale, including a nice Robert Mondavi Cab Sauvignon. There weren't quite enough cashiers for the flux of people that came in on this particular Saturday afternoon. The manager had to hunt down another wayward employee to help alleviate the lines, after the lone cashier kept calling for assistance. Though there is ample parking here, exiting this store directly onto Meridian is a nightmare, especially with the traffic backed up from the I-5 freeway. If you're trying to head south on Meridian back to the freeway, I recommend coming out onto Bakerview, then turning left at the light onto Meridian. read more

Parag Paranjape and Grace at the on-site Pharmacy were incredibly responsive and helpful to my issue and went far and above what as expected to ensure I got everything my family and I needed in a timely manner. Today I was in a pinch for a Rapid PCR test and it was 15mins to closing time. Walgreen Pharmacist employees --Kevin, Lauren and Grace (4090 Meridian Walgreen) -- were exceptional.. actually beyond exceptional. They stayed late, making sure that I have my pcr test so that I can cross back into Canada that very night. In my view, they are THE superstars. Many many KUDOS to them !!!!! read more

It's a Walgreens. Nothing special to set it apart from other drug stores. The snack isle is really lacking on chips etc., but those may not sell well so the selection is smaller. But when you want a bag of chips to go with the Tums, you don't have the best selection. Only one cashier on duty when I was there. She worked quickly and was efficient, It could have been much worse if there were many more people waiting in line. She really pushed the Walgreens value card. I don't want it. Good clean store. I just had an excrutiating(and disabling) double quad tendon ruputure that leaves me unable to bend my knees and walk for a couple months. JUST had the surgery Friday night, and only recieved enough pain medicine to last the weekend. Doc writes another prescription, no problem, and, in fact, increases the dosage slightly due to a mistake in the initital 3 day prescription. When the meds start wearing off, it literally feels like my legs are being ripped off at the kneecap. My mother goes here to drop off my new prescription, comes back an hour later, and paperwork is still sitting in the same place. The pharmacy manager comes over, I believe his name is Patek or Parek, and tells my mom he's refusing to fill the medication and makes up a lie about it being a Walgreen's policy not to fill prescriptions less than 5 days apart..a lie quickly debunked by calling 2 other Walgreen's. This idiot pharmacy manager doesn't even bother to check with my doctor! You will be hearing from me in the very near future at this location Walgreen's. read more

After an emergency visit to the Doctor it was urgent to begin a prescription today and the cost was something that came up. Let me explain by saying it's hard to give people who serve the public the courteousy they deserve when I was first of all worried sick about my loved one possibly developing complications between a bleeding disorder, stressed about the financial complications and anxious over the fact my loved one should be in class right now to prepare for this weeks midterms at college. "Mandeep" gave us nothing but prompt attention in getting the doctors to call in rather than fax when we already waited around 20 minutes via advise from doctors office. We/I have recieved nothing but the best possible care--from making sure it's the correct medicine, or seeing if there's a cheaper generic option doctors can put on prescription. Mandeep also has helped me get right number of pills before traveling away from home for some time. I trust Mandeep to as she has advacated for me in explaining termonology doctor and or insurance company for one time exempting for necessary medicine. Plus when I can't remember the steps year or two later Mandeep's memory noteworthy and trustworthy for me.Great people at Walgreens Meridian st, Bellingham. read more

I was just in Walgreens how to buy a few things on Guide Meridian. I followed a young man into the restroom area and the door was locked to the restroom. He had just sat down to take his break and I had asked him if he could give me the code to the restroom so I could use it. Butt his response was to me I'm on break it's not my job right now. In my day if a person asked you a question or a service if you are in customer service you did the job whether you were on break or not. Nowadays these entitled Millennials think that they don't have to go above and beyond they're Call of Duty. He was rude and a bit condescending when I asked him for the code. I've always had good service there and never had such a rude experience with a Walgreens employee as a loyal customer to Walgreens I would expect a certain respect from the staff. Other than this time at this Guide Meridian store I've never had a problem but today I am very disappointed in the way the young man handled the situation when he had just sat down when he could have just told me the code and went about his business. read more

The pharmacy is horrible! The first time I went there, I had a bad experience with rude staff. I decided to continue to go there since I figured they were just having a bad day. The second time I went, they failed to fill my prescription. After waiting for over an hour they very rudely sent me home and told me they would call when my prescription was ready. After not hearing from them for several days, I called and they told me wasn't covered by my insurance. They could have gave me a courtesy call or something! Today was my last day to go in there. I waited for 2 hours for them to refill a prescription, only for them to tell me that my insurance isn't excepted there anymore! Rite Aid will get my business for now on!!!! read more
