It was sad to see the old crew go, but just as exciting to watch Jack's involvements in helping the hungry and homeless as well as the improvements to the store and parking lot. Great job Jack and happy to have you as a neighbor. However you do have one problem with an emplyee that needs correcting! Brian Hackner has taken a very inappropriate liking with my wife and will not stop seducing her everytime she comes in! She has repeatedly told him no, I'm married! The situation is starting to create up to Stalker Static since Brian Hackner has found out what her phone number is and I happened to get his text message because I borrowed her phone. Brian Hackner has been told multiple times by both my wife and I to stop. This place is getting ridiculous. I was going to order one stick of the honey chicken from the hot food area, but it was going to cost $8.16 for a 8 pc. What the hell is going on here. These crappy piece of chicken aren't even as good a chicken nuts from McDonalds. That is $1.02 per chicken piece. This story has unacceptable prices and the fact that the cashier knew it was outrageous makes it even worse. She agreed and tried to get my number to sign up for their rewards, which would drop the price a little. That is BS, I'm not making an account with 711. Never going here again. The store owner is literally the rudest person I have ever met. I went in a bought an energy drink and was confused about the price because the price tags slide down. I told him im fine with the price. The owner then proceded to yell and slander me. He went on a crazy rant about TV's and speeding tickets and living in the real world. I tried to apoligize for upsetting him and he continued to yell at me. It was one of strangest interactions I ever had with a human being. I have been shopping there for 25 years AND I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. read more

In a world where a 7-Eleven store can be found almost as easily as the nearest Starbucks, it's easy to overlook the fact that - even though they are governed by an international mass conglomerate corporation - most 7-Eleven stores are individually owned and operated. The Lakeway 7-Eleven is one of those stores. It is owned by a kindly family man who has put a huge effort into make this as "local" as it can get. He serves our neighborhood proudly, and he and his staff always greet us with a smile. My kids have been regulars here for YEARS (hello, Slurpees anyone?) and they are treated like family. If one twin shows up without the other he's always asked, "Hey, where's your brother?" It's like the little mom-n-pop shop of years-gone-by, just with a 7-Eleven sign in front. I went there on 1/4/2023 to make payments using pay near me barcode. One of the three transactions didn't go through but the attendant didn't acknowledge it and took the $1500 cash. I've been calling to resolve the issue but the number goes to a fax tone after several rings. This is a truly unprecedented experience for me and I'm very flustered that a store would take my money, not do what it's intended to do, and I can't reach anyone to solve the problem. read more

I never thought I'd be reviewing a 7-Eleven. Jack really makes this one special. He's active in the community. Fundraising, Little League sponsoring, lifting up the weary and sending off the world with a smile... He is a real gem. When I jammed in there today for a quick grab the woman in front of me gave the counter person $2.74 which she owed Jack. Was I surprised? No. Would I have loaned her money? No way... But he's a lot nicer than I am. I have seen him spread goodwill from this 7-eleven on many an occasion. read more

Woah, the dude running this store is really good at his job! I came in for some waters and he was super friendly, tried to up-sell me on some of the baked goods and food they make there in-house, and when I tried to leave without the H2O he was really funny about asking me why I bought it if I wasn't going to take it. There's some nice people that run this 7-Eleven, it's a very welcoming experience when I enter the store. I typically go here for some Takis. If you're at the skate park or hanging out at Colar Cozier, it's a perfect spot to walk over to and just overload on delicious snacks. It can be a pain to take a left out of 7-Eleven depending on the traffic flow, so just prepare for that. Other then that, great spot, good location, and some awesome staff. read more

If you need a 7-Eleven, this is the one to use. It is NOT owned by the rude people who have the ones on Alabama St and on Northwest, and had the failed one on Samish. Nobody will stare rudely at you while you are in the store, or act like they are doing you a great big favor to sell you something. The store is well stocked and pleasant. I have not seen sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot either, which is a problem at the one on Alabama. read more
