There must be pharmacies out there that actually care and listen; I'll find one today who will take my money and reciprocate with some degree of understanding. And while a know that losing one wronged customer doesn't mean much to them, I'll be damned if I ever set foot in the store again. Although I have never been directly to the Store I have conducted numerous transactions by phone for medications that are important for my health. I would rate them a solid A. The staff is excellent on the phone and in execution. With one question they can see my history, will be able to find my prescription and in a moment give me an update as to delivery. Several years ago I had a last minute change in travel plans and had to ask them if my medications could be delived the same day even though they are over an hour away by car. I was assuming the answer would be no and was surprised to learn of a special delivery service provided by another N.J. company and much to my relief my medications were delivered just in time for me to take them along on my travels.

This Walgreens is in an older shopping plaza but they do the best they can with the exterior of the store as it was clean and the trash cans were empty. Walking in the store it was very neat and there were employees helping customers. I took my return the phot area desk which is where there was a sign indicating I was in the right place. An employee by the name of Marisa came right over and helped me process the return. For some odd reason the company I was returning it to only provided a single shipping label when there were 2 boxes to return but Marisa said that was no problem and proceeded to help me tape the 2 boxes securely together and attach the label to the box duo. She was also able to text a receipt to me just in case there were any issues. Oh and while Marisa was helping me a line began to form at the register so she called an employee to come up and take care of the other customers who were waiting. Really great customer service and I highly recommend using their FedEx service.

This is the absolute worst Walgreens pharmacy I've ever experienced. Will never return. They take…read moresuper long to fill prescriptions, and give you fake lead times on when the prescription will be ready for pick up. When you get there, you still have to wait 30-40 minutes. I had surgery in my mouth and called for a status on my prescription fill, the guy on the phone said 20 minutes, I come an hour later and they tell my mom it's going to be another 30 minutes. Mind you I was on hold for 18 minutes before I could even get the pharmacist on the phone when I called. Ridiculous. & They close daily for lunch ? Must be understaffed and overworked. Shame on the management and ownership at this Walgreens. I've always used Walgreens because of their efficiency, I will be going to the one on Washington street in Belleville. Today, once again, the new owner, Kumar, messed up on a prescription that clearly had 2 refills left and he told my new pharmacy that I didn't have those refills. So that leaves more work for me again, to have to take a photo of my prescription and call the doctor to send a new script to my new pharmacy. I believe this incident today, was initiated by Kumar because I left and went to another pharmacy because of his constant mistakes. Long behold, my doctor said I did INDEED have the 2 refills and he send them to the new pharmacy. My friend had his credit card charged for three times the amount of a prescription that could have been given to him generically. Kumar is trying to make as much money as he can off of his customers, rather than do the work of searching for the cheaper prices, as Mark used to do. Mark was wonderful. My friend had to go down there and correct the situation. This same friend had pills missing from a prescription and when he called Kumar, Kumar got testy with my friend. My friend had to go down there to straighten that out as well. About a month ago or so, Kumar at Gary's gave my brother the wrong medication in the right bottle- thank GOD my brother checked because he could have died with his heart condition. Kumar also shorted my brother 20 pills on another prescription and tried to blame one of the other pharmacists when my mom asked what happened. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to this pharmacy. It is a crying shame because when Mark owned it - you had a wonderful old-fashioned mom and pop place. I miss it so much. It is now nothing but an unorganized horrific nightmare.

My fears were unfounded. What I like most about Walgreen's is that 'bundle' my prescriptions so I don't have to return to the store over and over. I can't tell you how many times I would pick up our prescriptions from CVS only to get home and find a message that there was more medication ready to be picked up. And I love that there is a Drive-Thru which is great if you don't need anything else inside the store. They are also in a good location and parking is always plentiful. They pretty much carry everything the other chains carry (drinks, snacks, cosmetics, cards, personal care) and they are usually up to date on their stock. The staff is nice but I think the Parmacists and their workers are exceptionally good.
