They also have the usual waters, sodas, candy and snacks that are the usual at convenience stores. This location also has gas pumps. They also provide bathroom facilities which attracts your usual slobs (feel bad for the employees that have to clean up after them) but they try. Sometimes the local PD will show up for coffee, donuts, and to disperse said panhandlers. There's also a Redbox outside. The staff are usually friendly and accommodating. It's a professional staff running the joint, and it shows - the coffee bar is clean, the hot dogs are rotating, and the shelves are stocked. But sometimes, it's not so well run. The smiling lady isn't there behind the register, but an older lady (who may or may not have familial connections to the franchisee) stands there instead. She is not so friendly looking. But you think nothing of it. You go up to pay. Then she cancels out your debit/credit transaction and tell you it didn't go through and demand cash. She tells you it was declined and hands you a receipt. She will demand loudly enough the whole store has heard that you're a deadbeat who doesn't have a few dollars to pay for some coffee. "CASH! CASH! $3.70!!" So you pay up. Even though you just got paid and you're certain there's money in your account, in your morning stupor you scrounge up odd change in the deepest depths of your pockets - you grab pennies from the "Take-A-Penny" tray. Okay, 3 dollars and change later, you pay for your coffee. After the caffeine has set in and you check (thank technology), you verify you have plenty of money. In fact, enough to buy not just one or two cups of coffee, but HUNDREDS of cups of coffee. Possibly even ALL of the coffee! And this receipt doesn't say "Declined" on it anywhere at all! But what kind of degenerate goes back inside to demand justice? To go back in and possibly get into a yelling match with a little old lady? Over coffee? That's right, nobody. I got a large coffee, and it was under $2.00 with tax. However, the coffee was just average. Nothing that great. The coffee selection was very limited when inside, only regular or Columbian. I went with the regular and used flavored creamers. It got me through the morning, and I did finish the entire large cup. But I still prefer QuickChek or Dunkin' coffee over this.
