Great experience, super friendly staff. The pharmacist is very knowledgeable and kind. The story is always clean and shelves stocked well.

I had a 4:30 PM appointment yesterday for a covid test. Took the test, handed it in, was told it would be two hours for the rapid NAAT test. No problem. Three hours go by, four hours, still no results. I call and get put into automated hell where it's not giving me the options that I need. I get someone who tells me I have to call the main number once again and ask for the pharmacy. I do, but it transfers me to some national line and after a long wait I get told I have to call the local Walgreen's again. I did! Their system transferred me out. I finally, after three tries, get through to a pharmacist at this location. She says they'll print it out for me and I can pick it up in the morning, but then said I should send someone else because I'm positive. WTF? I repeated the test at another pharmacy (not Walgreens), got my results in an hour, and I am negative. I have no idea what the heck is going on with this location but I won't be back. read more

On 03/29/23 l picked up my mobile order that I had placed early in the morning. I arrived roughly a half hour before they closed so they were busy. While the staff couldn't find everything I had ordered immediately they were nonetheless very friendly, professional and nice to me. My experience was definitely an improvement over the last time I picked up an order. It might take them a while to find everything you ordered but they nonetheless will search for it. I was very happy with the service I received. I'm not a huge fan of picking up orders from any store because it always seems to go wrong somehow, some way. But, I will definitely give Walgreens a try in the future and see if their good customer service will continue. read more

Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone,so with that being said let's go!!.. I picked Walgreens because I'm pretty familiar with their set up as far as their product selection and setup, I needed some passport photos so I could get a replacement passport done so this made my decision a lot easier to visit their location!. I asked the gentleman if they did passport photos just to confirm and he told me yes, so he took me over to the photo area and took my picture with a digital camera the uploaded them on the computer to have the picture processed and printed for purchase, so when I left and returned to to my mom's house I realized the pictures they sold me looked horrible and after checking the passport website I knew these photos would not be acceptable! So when I returned and showed another employee ( which seemed she was a manager by her uniform tag )those passport pictures she immediately said " who took those photos " because apparently to the eye she also knew they were done incorrectly! So she had another employee do them in which she advised him to make sure the blinds were closed! ( Obviously the other employee had no idea about the process of taking photos with the store window blinds up )! So when this employee took them the pictures came out clearer but had a blue line going across the top of one of the photos, and all he could say was I don't know why I came out like that! So once again the manager had to get involved, so to try to make a long story short the manager ended up doing the passport photos and they came out much better and provided the passport photo cover to house the photos in! I hope this location can train their employees on how to take accurate and professional passport photos so no other customers have to go through what I did just to get some passport photos taken!!. Let me add that when I took these passport photos to the passport agency to get another passport processed because I misplaced my other one,the NY passport agency employee at the window told me that the photos I presented to her that I purchased from this Walgreens location were not acceptable because the photos were taken too close to my face and did not meet the criteria of the NY passport, so I'm out of about $17 because this particular Walgreens location has employees who don't know how to take acceptable passport photos!!.. Never again, stay away from here in regards to passport photos!!.. read more

This location of Walgreens in Bayonne is really nice. The building is fairly new and the inside is nice and clean. There is a large parking lot here, which makes things super convenient for drivers wanting to shop here. Once inside, everything is setup nicely. The aisles are well labeled and the cashier checkout system is smooth. Walgreens has a great pharmacy section too, including a drive through pharmacy at this location. Looking for some quick snacks, or drinks, or toilet paper/ paper towels / cleaning supplies; Walgreens has you covered as they offer everything for you to pick up in one trip. read more

This one of the smallest Walgreens I've been in. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. But the place was clean. I was extremely surprised that they had Oil Olay and Dove soap and bath wash locked in cabinet. This was the first place I have seen this. 3ven if it is because of the area. That only tells me I need not be 8n this area. It also is the only Walgreen I been in that has two live people at the cashier so that was a plus and no wait time. I'm so glad they opened a new Walgreens, especially since it is literally a 3 minute walk from my house. This location is so big, bright, and modern looking. They also have everything you need. The left side of the store has a rather extensive selection of electronic needs and things like printer ink, very convenient. The food section is also very good, lots to choose from. I've always loved Walgreens for that reason, they have much more food than other drugstores like CVS and Rite Aid. The health and beauty section also has lots of great products like Boots No. 7 mens skin care. The checkout is also very efficient and laid out nice, unlike the store on the other side of town. The only problem I have is that the Balance rewards are not as good as Rite Aid's Wellness+ rewards. At Rite Aid down the block, you get points that lead to 10-20% off the whole store if you keep visiting. You can still save big at Walgreens, but you typically have to buy select items on sale to get points and rewards. Overall, I love this store. Yes, they are not 24 hours like Rite Aid, but this store is so much cleaner, bigger, and has a much better selection than Rite Aid. Plus, it's so convenient. read more
