First time at Suite Tee! I had gotten a gel manicure two weeks ago and managed to chip a few of them during a work trip. I had another work trip the following weekend and desperately needed to fix my nails. I looked up a bunch of places that were close by and found Suite Tee. I booked my appointment online, paid the deposit, and received confirmation the next morning. It's a little awkward to get to, as it's on the 3rd floor, but inside it feels like a completely different world. Karen did my manicure and she was great. I had never done the Dazzle Dry before and she really took her time explaining the process to me. She was gentle and thorough with my nails - from the gel removal to the finishing touches. She even let me try on 3 different colors so I could see which one I liked best. It's now been a whole week and my nails are still going strong. My nails tend to grow like weeds, so there's already some space in between my cuticle and the polish, but this happens even with gel nails. No chips, no scratches. If you're looking for a sturdy manicure without doing gel, this is a great alternative. I like that I can remove them myself without having to do the whole soaking process with the gel. read more

I opted for the Dazzle Dry Mani/Pedi because of the coupon that they were offering through Yelp and I can confidently say I found my new go-to in JC. Suite Tee is located in the third floor of a building in the downtown area and the three flights of stairs are MORE than worth it. When you walk into the studio, you are taken into a whole different world. The decor, the music, and the staff make Suite Tee a relaxing little oasis. Karen did both my pedicure and my manicure and she was amazing! I wanted something a little fancy: colored, thin, French tips, and she exceeded expectations. I was totally relaxed the whole time and Karen spent extra time to make sure that my manicure turned out perfect. I also have a really bad habit of picking at my nail beds and she recommended that I get some cuticle oil to help hydrate my nails and prevent me from feeling the need to pick at them so often. A side note: I'm that person that has never heard of Dazzle Dry and BOY am I a devout fan after my experience at Suite Tee. My nails dried SO fast, the manicure lasts longer, and I can take them off with regular nail polish remover? I am SOLD. Tee was amazing!! I went there for the first time as I still believe I am new to the area and looking for you go to wax place is a big deal. I used groupon to give this place a try as the reviews were good. She uses the online portal vgaro for bookings which I used to book. She communicated with me well in advance that she wasn't feeling well and would like to cancel contact for a few days before she can go back in which was VERY responsible of her and I appreciated it! In making it to my rescheduled appointment, she was very friendly. Her salon is very clean and had the bathroom right at the door where she requires you to wash your hands before coming in. While waxing, she was quick, efficient and painless (for the most part). The appointment was over in 20 mins and she did a great job. She is working on growing her business and also has mani-pedi and tanning in the salon. Tip: Getting to her salon is kind of tricky. The stairs do not go all the way from the first to third. I had a great experience at Suite Tee's. I am always looking to support local businesses, especially during COVID, and after hearing about the studio via Instagram I made an appointment for a mani and pedi. Tee has created an incredibly relaxing and clean environment in the small studio. It is bright and airy with lots of plants and soothing tropical/island music. All guests are required to wear a face mask and must wash their hands upon entering. Staff are also wearing face masks and all surfaces, chairs, etc are frequently sanitized between each use. That being said, I felt extremely comfortable while I was there both in terms of cleanliness/safety and just general comfort because of the chill atmosphere! When I first walked up the 3 flights to Suite Tee, I had every second thought ever when it came to trusting a stranger to remove hair from my Hoo-Haa. BUT I also understand Tee has nothing to do with a 3 story building, so I talked myself down. Yelp readers, as SOON as you walk into her Suite, you feel like you are in a completely different building. It is bright, well decorated, there is a little humidifier in the corner, gracefully blowing smooth air into the atmosphere.. Lush plants everywhere... Very well done. Tee is very professional, calming and knows what she is doing. I have been getting waxed monthly (I am a Virgo and like things neat) for.. 15+ years and I swear I did not even flinch once. Granted, I am used to being waxed, but this was honestly painless. She combines hard wax with using strips (never have I had this happen), so she is most gentle where she needs to be... she figured this stuff OUT, ladies and gentlemen! The plus side if you like one way of waxing over the other: I am sure she will stick with what you feel most comfortable with (but I suggest both). Plus, she is very fast! She and I were talking and next thing I know, she was like "you are done". THE BIGGEST PLUS OF THEM ALL! I was not sensitive at ALL afterward. That is a HUGE deal and VERY rare. This is something most spray tan places just "yeah yeah" you through so I was more than happy to see how personable she was. I got a manicure and pedicure yesterday and it was pretty basic for $85. Yes they use Dazzle dry polish but they skimp on moisturizer and on scrubbing the feet well to remove dead skin. A day later, my feet look dry and the bottom of my foot has dead skin. I am seriously surprised by all the good reviews as my experience was mediocre and the esthetician was barely doing her job.
