Was charged 18% sales tax today at the Walgreens on Fabyan & Randall and when I asked the very helpful associate she rudely growled to me "We don't control the sales tax". Oh really?!?!? So now merchants can charge whatever they want for sales tax? I will be boycotting Walgreens and sharing my experience with as many people as I can. Check your receipts people!!! read more

Clueless staff-make you make multiple trips, inventory not accurate, I got TRIPLE charged for a photo order, the only solution to correct it was to come back to have them scan the receipt to give the credit. So they tried to fix it on their end as I wasn't coming back-the online order (already picked up) was then canceled and doing this charged my card the third time. Ridiculous. Stay far far away. Went in last night to grab a couple items. The cashier had some serious attitude/anger issues. He was slapping his hands on his legs in frustration when I first walked past him. As I walked to the register to check out, he quickly followed behind. He was muttering obscenities under his breath as he was behind me. While checking out, he was extremely short with me and showed zero professionalism. He made it obvious I was an inconvenience to him. As I was walking out, he started slamming things in frustration. The Walgreens in Batavia on Wilson has the best customer service. I was looking to print photos out for my mom's funeral and I needed some help. Two different associates went out of there way to help me get the ones I needed. Anytime I go in there the staff are always friendly and helpful. read more

I tend to shop here sparingly, pretty much only when I need to refill my Flintstone Vitamins or to purchase some tasteless sugarless gum. Walgreens is slower than a receding glacier as you wait in the check-out line forever! The cashiers are totally oblivious to anything other than 'Chatting up the Customers'. Talking "Shit" must be a criteria for employment! I can pitch a tent, get the grill goin' and start a parking lot tailgate party... and never lose my place in line! A prime example where it takes more of "your" time to wait in the check-out line than to actually shop. read more

Very disappointing. The cashiers at this location give you attitude if you want to redeem less than 5,000 balance rewards at a time. Sorry, but you don't get to make your own rules. This is a COMPANY rewards program. When I signed up, I was told I had to have a minimum of just 1,000 points to redeem. Your prices are higher than your competitors. The only reason people shop with you is because of the convenience factor and the Rewards program. Get it together. read more

Worst pharmacy experience ever. I filled a prescription via Walgreens app on Friday to pick up the next day (which should have been on automatic refill since all my other medications are set up like that there). On Saturday their computer system (recording) informed me my prescription would be delayed and to call a number for more information. I called the number to find it would be filled by noon (another recording). At 2:00 I went in and they said it would not be ready until Monday afternoon. WHAT?!!! They said it must have been their "weekday answering machine" and they would let the manager know. Then the rude pharmacist says "I can't explain why the computer told you it would be ready by noon...you should have just called and talked to me." WHAT?!!! And to add to the bizzaro Walgreens world they pretend they don't accept/or the coupon is expired for medications that they have to reimburse pharmaceutical companies that I get from my doctor! Thank you to CVS who now handles all of my pharmaceutical needs and accepts my coupons!! They keep my medication in stock and always automatically refill. No screw ups at CVS! read more

Right in the middle of charming downtown Batavia this store has a huge variety of products and friendly staff. Always well lit and clean. They have a pharmacy and will grab over the counter meds from the aisles for you when picking up prescriptions at the drive through - so convenient! I only wish they opened at 7:00 am so I could get last minute items before school or work. read more

The pharmacy at this location has terrible customer service. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to pick up a prescription that was ordered over the phone. The female pharmacist that I finally got to speak with was cold and condescending to me the entire time. She asked me for my prescription insurance card so I pulled it up on my wallet on my IPhone. She rolled her eyes at me and said she cannot process that. I then went fumbe through my actual wallet and ended finally finding my physical insurance card. She took it and told me she needed to call and confirm that it was my insurance. She acted very distrusting towards me. I took a seat and patiently waited. She never called me up or followed through. Finally, after several times of me asking, another gentleman helped me finish picking up my order. It seemed as though this entire ordeal could have gone much smoother. The pharmacist was anything but welcoming or helpful. Meanwhile, my sick two year old daughter was waiting at home for the medicine to help her feel better. I did not feel like a welcomed neighbor at a place that prides themselves on being a local neighborhood store. Our family will choose to drive to a further location for our prescriptions in the future. I would recommend looking to replace this pharmacist if I were Walgreens management. read more
