I told them I was allergic to egg whites which are in a lot of vaccines, when I got mine, they told me they didn't have egg whites in them and when I called back and asked them again they said there were egg whites in them, and I had a pretty bad reaction for about a week. Ordered a medication which had to be delivered by the warehouse to the store. It was supposed to be delivered well before Christmas. The Pharm. Assistant told me today it was due on the 20th. Today is 12/26. She added if not in tomorrow then maybe Monday. I do NOT understand how this is acceptable in the delivery of MEDICINE! Service at this Walgreen's pharmacy is deteriorating every day. On three different occasions they didn't even have paper bags to carry purchases! Even with an appointment, I had to wait close to an hour for a booster shot. Went to drop off a prescription--the line inside the store had at least 7 people waiting; the drive-thru had 6 ahead of me. At other times, freezer section was practically empty. This morning, 11/11 at 10 a.m. when I requested a refill, I was told the store would close at 5 p.m. What gives with this store? Time to get CVS up on Paradise. LDB read more

Pharmacy is severely understaffed. I waited 30 minutes in line to pick up a prescription and their was only 2 people in front of me. One of them left. The cashier is new, has no idea what he's doing and no one would help him. He was so nervous his hands were shaking. Also, there were people getting shingles vaccines, which means they have to stop, fill out paperwork, etc.. send a staff member to administer the shot, making the line move even slower. How about properly training and assisting new staff members and not worry about vaccinating people and just fill prescriptions? read more

Went to get a flu shot. Arrived at 520, got to the window at 524 and told they stopped flu shots. Their sign says within 15 minutes of close (6pm). Don't get there expecting a shot anywhere close to closing for the pharmacy. read more

It is the only place in this neighborhood where you can run to for sugar, cold meds, mascara, tortillas, ice, socks, tampons, passport photos... you get the idea. Staff are friendly enough, some are helpful and they all try. I have had prescriptions filled here without any overlong wait or snarky service. I'm appalled by the other reviewer who didn't like the level of service and retaliated by calling the pharmacy tech out for being overweight. What has that got to do with anything except the reviewers desire to be mean? I disregard any reviews that attack individuals in that way. read more

I happen to frequent this particular location since it's so close to my house, otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way to shop there. The staff act miserable when you ask for some assistance with something, there's one cashier in general who has an attitude regardless of how nice you are to him, and it seems like they don't restock their shelves all that often. I cannot get to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions! Problems galore, but not the fault of the local workers. It's corporate that is the problem.It's always been bad, but is now getting much worse. Yesterday the pharmacy drive through was closed until 11 am, no sign indicating when they would open. I called the store to find out after going home. So I went back at 11 and the line at the drive through was all the way through the parking lot to the street creating a traffic hazard. Walgreens is offering covid tests in the drive through which takes a lot longer than picking up meds. The parking lot was full, and I could only assume many were there for the pharmacy. Last time I had to go in the line was very long, up to 20 people. Some for meds, some for shots. There is only one pharmacist there at a time. I went home. I am elderly and disabled and cannot wait in line for an hour for anything. The reason they close is due to lack of a pharmacist. They cannot dispense meds without one present by law, and they don't have enough pharmacists to fill the openings. It's a wonder they don't all quit. This store is the only drug store for at least a three mile radius, so lots of customers. Corporate company keeps piling on more work for the folks who work there, expecting them to do more without enough time or more money to compensate them. The stress must be tremendous for them as it is also for the customers who need their medications. The bottom line for Walgreens is $$$, to heck with the people who work there and especially the customers. Again, it's a wonder the pharmacists don't all quit! I'm moving my prescriptions to another name brand pharmacy even though it is farther away. I'm tired of the hassle. read more

Would give a lesser star if I could. The pharmacy hours posted on the website are totally inaccurate: website says open till 10PM Saturday - was closed when I got there at 6:15 PM. Website says open 9AM Sunday - got there 9:15AM and it was not scheduled to open till 10AM (too long to wait). Major inconvenience and frustration when meds need to be given on-time. Rude staff: Called to suggest they correct the hours - was told " Contact corporate - there's nothing I can do". Not even "Sorry for your trouble". I took a screenprint of the web page with the errors in case "Corporate" is interested. My family of 3 arrived at about 5:10 pm this evening with the intention of getting our flu shots. A sign was posted that flu shots would not be given within 15 minutes of closing. An obese woman who I guess was the tech, refused the prescription and told me to go to the Target pharmacy. We enjoy going to this Walgreens because we see a manager all the time! The manager has approached us offering his assistance on several different visits and will stop to answer any questions-which has been appreciated. Great store! Now, unfortunately, the pharmacy isn't managed the same. They have improved but the service is slow and they don't have a clue as to who I am even though I've been picking up 2-3 prescriptions a month at this pharmacy for the past 4 years. My Walgreens pharmacy in Frisco was a 24 hour pharmacy and one of the busiest in the metroplex and they knew my name, my doctors name, and my insurance! They had the same tech and pharmacist for years. If there was a problem they contacted me and by the time I had called back they had resolved the problem. Here they won't even call to notify me if they don't have a prescription my doctor sent them in stock it just doesn't get filled and I don't find out until I call and ask. And then they make me feel like I'm an imposition creating unwanted work for them, and they are very put out. But like I said it has improved. read more

I reply Ya im still waiting He turns around says something to the other girl thats helping him ?? so she peeps around the corner glass with a smile then ducks back in , So now we get the text saying the prescription is ready ....Ok can we have it !!! so now Dennis comes back to the window and ask for the second time if we need help by now the cars behind us are lined up , my wife is in pain he's standing there with a smile ear to ear still no prescription he then says there still mixing it ...you gotta be kidding me ...He leaves to help the line in the store the assistant is leaving for the day we are still in line with 6 cars behind us what is going on .by now its around 4pm Dennis is out of view now where did he go ?? is he on lunch now , finally he is at the window with that same smile and holding the prescription but wait whats the address has asks, we give it to him wrong one he says now this is after our first visit that day and asking the other worker to change it to our new address which she said did .I guess not ...............pure headache its like he was doing it on purpose ..THANKS DENNIS read more
