Unfortunately great things is not what I got. Instead I got very overpriced, below average food. I ordered the veal cutlet which was 42 CHF which is $47 and 3/4ths of the plate was essentially fried potatoes. You might think I'm exaggerating, but I implore you to check the picture. In the US any $47 meat dish would be 3/4th meat, 1/4th potato. Yes I understand it's some kind of traditional Swiss Rösti, but it tastes like fried potatoes. In fact I could only eat a little bit of it because it started to bother my stomach. The veal cutlet itself was decent. It could've been more tender and the flavor was decent. Nothing special and certainly not worth 47 CHF. I will give credit where credit is due though. The two cherry tomatoes included with the dish were quite exceptional. They were literally bursting with flavor and very fresh. I could've eaten ten more. This was unfortunately the exception. The chocolate lava cake was quite good. Perhaps the best chocolate lava cake I've had so far in my 4 month stint in Europe. It was very chocolatey and the middle had that chocolate oomph you'd expect from a top chocolate producer like Switzerland. Overall I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you enjoy getting fleeced. Price is usually not such a sticking point for me, but I was just so shocked by the $47 plate that was mostly potatoes. Save your tastebuds and your wallet and look else where.

What was AMAZING was meeting Vanessa, our server! She was professional, knowledgeable, charming, and welcoming!! Her recommendations for dinner were 'spot on'! You feel as though she was a friend who knew you for years. While drinking a delicius beer, we enjoyed a very sweet conversation with Nike, the establishment manager! We decided to follow Rick Steve's advice for once to give it a try. The restaurant service was good, it had a beautiful court yard where we dinned. Although our server tried to describe the dishes, other than chicken, veal we could not make out how the meats were cooked until my wife used a Google translator. I had the roasted chicken breast with lemon sauce and pasta, my wife had the veal cooked in mushroom sauce Lucerne style. The chicken breast was very moist, with the Lemmon sauce I was in heaven! The veal and mushroom sauce were delicious! With two small house beers the bill came to be less than 80 CHF! It was the best dinner we have had in our 15-day journey through Switzerland!
