This library has a huge collection of books of every type..specially appealing to some are the books in languages other than english ..like bengali, hindi, urdu, punjabi, chinese etc This library has a good collection of dvd's in different languages too and has a referal section too. There is a small brightly decorated kid's section too and a number of computers for users. The most notable feature however is the introduction of self -checkout systems that were installed last year and does cut down the waiting time for getting your books being stamped.

The lighting is mellow and I can absolutely lose contact with the world sitting with a book inside this library. They have a very good collection of multi-cultural books and dvd's. The laibrarians like the libaray are soft spoken and helpful and do a good job of keeping the library thus well maintained.

This is one of the smaller of the Medway library but is very well stocked up in English books…read more The library is neat and is tended to by two-three librarains at a time who are very helpful. There is a huge seperate kid's area.. and usually rhymetime(mon/fri mornings), story time(tue afternoons) and the breast-feeding groups(tuesday mornings) are held in this area on ceratin days. The library could do with books in other languages though (specially asian ones like can be found in other medway librariesbut I don't think there is a huge demand for these). Dvd's and video -casettes can also be borrowed and there is a good stock of these too.

I love this library best amongst all Medway libraries simply because it is one of the biggest ones…read morewith a very huge choice of books, dvds etc and also becasue it remains open all six days of the week(sundays close)and till 7pm each day very convinient for people who work as I can pop in while returning home from work . The entire library is spread over one floor and there is a reference library for students on the second floor all lined up with neatly arranged arrays after arrays of books. There is a very good slection of books in foreign languages, playstation and other games , access to computers as well and this must be the reason why so many people favour this library. The interiors are warm and the kids section is bright and lovely.
