We paid a little over $300 for a Saturday check in and Sunday check out. Check in was easy and actually got to check in a couple hours early. Staff was very friendly throughout the resort. The King size room was spacious enough to put the pack in play in the corner and still have room to move around. The bed was very comfortable, water pressure was good, and the water was nice and hot. After we unpacked, we went downstairs to catch the Bubble show and then went to the water park. The waterpark was clean and pretty spaced out so it didn't feel too crowded. We traveled with a 4 year old and 16 month old so we spent more time at the toddler zone and kept both of them entertained for hours. We went to Jack rabbit for dinner where we got the hamburger which was small and pricey but at least it tasted good. We ordered two drinks as well and those were delicious. We asked for the check and a drink to go (yes you can take alcohol drinks to go) and the check took forever and the 16 month old was getting restless. That's when we were informed they were having network issues. We didn't think much of it until we realized it affected watching TV the next morning when we turned it on for cartoons for the kids. We tried to kill time getting breakfast because the waterpark didn't open until 10. Unfortunately with no TV and no entertainment for the kids, we were getting a little stir crazy so went to the arcade when it opened at 9. (Mind you we have been up since 6:30) The arcade had things for my 4 year old but only got to play for about 10 minutes. Spent $80 and that money didn't stretch very long at all. Every game was at least 10 tokens, a couple had 8, but all the games were way overpriced. Big kids could spend some major money at the arcade. Overall it was an ok experience but probably won't be returning. We spent almost $600 between the hotel, parking, and food for one night. Things that would have made the trip worth it. Park opened earlier. Small kids wake up early and it would be nice to be able to play before all the big kids get up. We wish the arcade was as bit more affordable or have some form of free entertainment for kids like an outdoor playground. You could easily spend over $1000 for a weekend stay and thats pretty hard to swallow for OKC.

My family and I had been…read morewatching the Okana Indoor Waterpark being built for years, so we finally decided to check it out. We visited on March 31, 2026. Our group included my wife, myself, her daughter, and my mother -- three adults and one child. Admission for all of us came to $130.31. We also rented Cabana 14 for an additional $108.61. At first glance, the facility is quite nice. We chose Cabana 14 because it seemed like it would be quieter for our daughter if she got tired or overstimulated. The cabana is advertised to comfortably fit up to 8 people, and we had plenty of room. It includes a TV with cable, a mini fridge (which was empty when we arrived), and a fan to help stay cool. Having a dedicated server and a private food menu was convenient. However, the waterpark is very loud, so the TV was practically unusable. We also noticed some stains on the chairs and that the fan could use a good cleaning. Overall, we would rent a cabana again for the comfort and convenience. Food: Prices are typical for an amusement park -- not cheap, but expected. My wife and I ordered a large 16-inch pepperoni pizza for $26. It reminded us of the old Hungry Howie's in Del City, but it was pretty bland with most of the flavor in the crust. My mother and daughter got burgers ($13 for the classic and $14 for the bacon outlaw), both served with waffle fries, and they said they were good. We also visited the candy shop, where my mother got a $12 vanilla shake and my daughter got a chocolate-covered apple for around $20. Both enjoyed their treats. Cabana Service: Service was slow. It often took 30-45 minutes between server visits, and there was no call button in our cabana. Our server was excellent and clearly overworked -- it seemed like he was handling most or all of the cabanas by himself (possibly because it was a weekday). He did a great job taking care of us, bringing ice water and checking in regularly. He definitely deserves a raise! We did have one issue where the wrong food was delivered, and it took about 45 minutes to get it corrected. The food delivery team should double-check the cabana numbers. Parking: Free parking is tough. We arrived about 20 minutes before the 10 a.m. opening and there were no spots left. If free parking is full (which seems common), expect to pay $20 for paid parking. Access & Waterpark Experience: Be prepared for a long walk! The entrance is near the Oklahoma River, so depending on where you park, it can be quite a distance. The indoor waterpark is a decent size. It's very humid inside (listed at 82°F). You enter from the second-floor food court area -- stairs lead down, or there's a long walk to a ramp for accessibility. Many rides have a 280 lb weight limit, which limited options for me as a larger person. They do have scales available to check. Highlights for us: The High Tide wave pool is nice (max depth 5 feet), though the water temperature fluctuated throughout the day. Splash Falls (kids area) is large with warm water and plenty of slides and play features. The Enchanted River (lazy river) has very cold water. We enjoyed the Tidal Twist (700 lb limit) -- it was fast and fun, though there's a steep climb to reach it. My wife and daughter loved the Whipsplash slides. My wife also relaxed in the adults-only hot tub on the second floor, which overlooks the wave pool. Free life jackets are available in many sizes if you forget yours. We did experience some issues with the pool chemicals -- they burned my face and eyes, and my daughter developed a rash under her arms. Overall: Despite a few drawbacks (slow service, chemical irritation, and the long walks/parking situation), we had a good time and would go back. It's a solid indoor waterpark option in the area, especially for families.

Marina Wells the lady that runs the place had no consideration to call me herself and tell me that the rental was going to be cancelled she had a teenage girl do it. Even though it rained a bit in the AM it was sunny and blue skies outside and there was no more inclement weather happening for the rest of the night. We had even called at near 4:30PM to check and make sure the guy reassured my husband we were good to go. This was a joint birthday party for my two sons with 18 other kids in attendance with pizzas ordered, cupcakes ordered/picked up, and balloon bouquets ordered/picked up and all for what NOTHING. We will never return to your establishment. When the girl called earlier to cancel the party, We had requested a phone call from Marina and still have not received that phone call. No decency, no respect and no sorry. That is blatant disrespect, and it is no regard for anyone else. We let all the parents of our 18 attendees know of the communication with Pelican Bay and the way this establishment handles business. If your looking to book a party steer clear of this place its a joke. I took pictures of what they call inclement weather. I made sure to take one with another phone so you can see date and time. The other reviewers are right this place is terrible.

Cannot say enough good things about Shawnee Splash Water Park, it made MY WHOLE SUMMER SPECIAL My…read moreson left for California and I was sad and then I bought the senior pass to Shawnee Splash Water Park and had the time of my life. The pools are so beautiful and clean and the water is so refreshing during hot summer days. So much fun to come The pool is run by Sue Ellen with her assistant Crystal and top lifeguard David And I can't say enough good things about these folks. Sue Ellen is an excellent leader and Crystal and David have commanding positions under her and always act so kind and humble. Their joie de vivre resonates to all the lifeguards there, who always do their job safeguarding children and elderly and every age between but with a sense of joy and happiness that makes every patron feel happy and special. IT's soooo much fun to go. There's beautiful music playing but not too loud. Adds to the joy of the blue water and the sound of splashing water. Just H E A V E N. I"m a senior and I got the senior pass and I highly recommend getting a season pass. And making a regular stop, at least 5 times a week and swimming for 30 minutes I don't stay the whole day, I get my exercise and I go. And I feel refreshed and invigorated and happy and I sleep like a baby after swimming at Shawnee Pool. The lifeguards are all super attractive and nice and friendly, and the walk around in matching red swimsuits and it just adds to the festive air of the pool. So many people are having a blast going down the slide or climbing the AquaSlides, I love the top pool which is deep and has a nice breeze and it's fun to watch folks jumping off the diving boards from there. The bottom pool is awesome too and I love to swim in it, and there's folks playing basketball there and having fun. And then there's kiddie pools, even a kiddie wave pool. And the kiddies are all happy. It's just a VERY VERY VERY happy place to go and enjoy summer and COOL OFF! I love it and you will too! Thank you Shawnee Splash Pool! Every lifeguard there is special. DAVID is the managing LIFEGUARD and just friggin' awesome. Strong and supervisory all while keeping a humble kind attitude and always being there for his STAFF. Like ALWAYS being there. Terra is super supervising lifeguard, and shows signs of moving up the fast track, she follows the rules and makes sure patrons do. Great gal. RAIN in the snackshack is just an ANGEL, she looks like an angel and acts like one. Landon let me know she worked more hours than anyone this summer. She is sooo pretty and a light shines from in her, reminds me of a beautiful 60s flower child. Hadley and Maddie, I believe, are great guards, so pretty and have the whitest teeth. They are best friends. Supervising guards Landon, Lyle and Garrett all assist Terra and DAVID, the HEAD LIFEGUARD. John and MaryBeth are adorable guards too. I can't remember all the names but there wasn't one lifeguard there that didn't do a GREAT JOB and add a special flair to each patron's summer. Such a joy to see all those beautiful young people working together and bringing happiness to all of Pottawatomie County. Thank you all! AND ESPECIALLY THANK YOU TO SUE ELLEN, who brought this all together, hired the nicest, best people and makes a Disneyland style pool look effortless and brings all this joy to Pottawatomie County! And HUGE thanks to CRYSTAL and DAVID for being RIGHT THERE assisting her! David, you are just too friggin' adorable. Whoever marries this man will have a good life! Heaven is RIGHT HERE IN SHAWNEE! One sad thing, I am already going into SHAWNEE POOL withdrawal as it closes soon until next MAY! I will be be buying a pass PRESEASON! LOVE YOU ALL. GOD BE WITH ALL OF YOU WHO WORKED AT SHAWNEE POOL this summer and hope to see you ALL next summer. God be with you, you are all VERY special. 10 STARS

Went with my son and figured paying for an additional ticket wouldn't be bad. Bought his ticket online the day before which came out to $42.35. This was pricier than I'd expect but not certainly not terrible. Showed up to the park and was greeted by a mandatory $30 parking sign which increased cost to $72.35 before we even got inside. Price gouging at its finest - they have a single large State Fair style parking lot with no obvious need to charge for it. I'm a planner and trying to figure out what to expect for my visit beforehand was not easy. Both Yelp and Google were filled with negative reviews that left me with apprehension. I went through the Six Flags website for about 30 minutes which was hit and miss in terms of helpfulness. The most helpful thing ultimately was ultimately the park map(https://static.sixflags.com/website/files/wwb_park-map.pdf) which included minimum height requirements for each ride which gave me a rough idea which rides my son could do. For reference, he recently learned how to to swim and hadn't been to a water park of this magnitude before. Unhelpful things from the website were that several rides were listed as "closed for the season" which were open in actuality. I'm going to divide the rest of the review into brief sections to help address some of the things that I found out that were NOT clear beforehand from the existing reviews. Lockers - they are not available at the front entrance. As many reviews note, there is minimal interaction from the front staff. You scan your tickets, then go through a gift shop and afterwards are the lockers. You sign in and pay through an automated separate system for lockers. I did NOT get a locker because I was luckily able to snag a vacant beach chair(not an easy feat) AND I did not have any valuables apart from my car keys. I gambled on leaving my wallet in the car with the hopes that I could use Apple Pay from my phone for concessions and ended up being correct. I kept my phone around my neck in a waterproof case for pictures the whole time. Shoes - ground is hot and rough in certain spots as advertised. Having kids wear water shoes is ideal. Personally, I wore slip on sandals between rides and took them off at the entrances. There's no dedicated place for them necessarily but it was common practice throughout the park. Splashwater Island - our starting point and the mildest attraction, ideal for the youngest of kids. Castaway Creek - lazy river around Splashwater Island, has multiple entrances and the current is just right. Tubes are available for purchase to float with but not necessary in my opinion as there's plenty of vacant ones in the pool or that are offered up by others who leave. Hurricane Bay - large pool with graduated depth that alternates between still and simulated hurricane waves which was a lot of fun. Spent the majority of our time here. The Big Kahuna - family friendly tame ride. It was about a 30 minute wait in line but perks are that it's shaded and small flights of zig-zag stairs to the top which means you're moving fairly often and made the wait tolerable for my son. Officially states that 3 passengers were required but this was not enforced. Overall, in a vacuum I'd rate the water attractions in the 4-5 star range but the aforementioned uncertainties of my experience and pricing that drop them down to 3 stars which is still is a relative improvement to their overall Yelp rating lol. We just scratched the surface in terms what we covered in the 3 hours we spent there. There's a lot more rides to potentially experience in the future; however, I'd likely only come back if I scored multiple free tickets and just had to pay for parking.
