Not sure what the sweet girls name was at the window but she was awesome. We ordered large hot coconut rocket, a large blended cookies and cream, three extra small vanilla italian sodas with cream, a cotton candy cake pop and a chocolate chip cookie. everything was absolutely superb. we're originally from spokane but now live in reno nevada, please put a wake up call in reno lol we'd be there every single day. safe to say this spot is friendly for people off all ages. kiddos loved everything. read more

Just went from out of town and the barista helping us was was awesome and their coffee hit the spot for our long drive back home.

Coeur d'Alene has ONE daily eastbound intercity bus, which leaves the corner of 4th St & Appleway just after 6pm, bound for Missoula & Billings. Wake Up Call is perfectly positioned to be the "bus station cafe" that Cd'A lacks (since it lacks a bus station), serving drinks to bus patrons while they wait for the bus in a warm, dry, well-appointed indoor space. Like most folks, I looked on Google Maps for a place to do just that, and it says Wake Up Call is open 'til 6pm. Perfect! Except the Google entry ignores the fine print: Wake Up Call is "open" until 6 on the *outside*, but closes its indoor lobby at 5. I was informed of this by the barista right *after* I ordered a giant Chai at 4:57. She then made it sound like she was doing me a tremendous favor by allowing me to sip my Chai until about 5:20, before kindly pointing me to the door, to wait in the cold for my bus. The way the barista carefully explained the confusion about closing times, it's clear that they *know* that reference sources like Google omit the 5pm lobby closure info altogether. They do both coffee patrons and bus patrons a *serious* disservice by not bothering to inform Google of this omission, which Google (wanting to be as accurate a source as possible) would promptly fix. My hot Chai drink was very nice -- except I had trouble enjoying it, knowing that the barista might be kicking me out at any moment. PLEASE, Wake Up Call -- either report the closing time omission to Google, or (much better) keep your lobby open 'til 6. The extra business you'll get from grateful bus patrons (especially in the winter months!) should make it well worth it. read more

I ordered through Uber Eats. I do like how the app gives you many many options to choose from like syrups, toppings, milks, and an okay selection of teas, even shown by pictures here on Yelp. So I got 2 drinks, choosing a couple options each, some having costed extra, and unfortunately didn't receive most of options requested. Cups having spots and labels for type of milk, shots, flavor, and other but nothing is marked, I'm going off taste at this point. My order was Brewed coffee with 4x shots, Irish cream syrup, heavy cream. (Did not include 4x shots or Irish cream) London Fog with macadamia nut milk, vanilla, coconut and lavender syrup. (Did not include coconut or lavender) The type of roast was hard to decipher because they went so heavy on the creamer, was sick of it before getting half way through. London Fog was a London Fog with macadamia milk. I reported my issues to Uber Eats and was issued a refundnot something I was expecting but was pretty nice. read more

Went there yesterday with 4 of us.i had a coffee already.everyone else got drinks and all of us got baked good and 2 of us got breakfast burritos.the drinks got to us a little later but,the 2 in the shop working were busy.it was still good and clean.staff was decent.should have the hedges on the side of the lot trimmed back so people won't be kissing the bushes when parking single file in the spots.the other side might not be much better since there is a independent gas c/store unbranded over in next property.we will return.we like everything at this business and the rode way inn nearby didn't have breakfast.coffee at this business im sure was much better than the hotel also. read more

Average drink, average service, average Ambiance. Prices were fair. There was nothing bad about this place. Its a small place. It was ok.

We were on our home stretch of a long road trip and needed a quick cup of coffee and nosh to get our day of driving started. Lucky for us, Wake Up Call was right next to our hotel. We were greeted by the brightest ray of sunshine who made our drinks (drip coffee and a hot chocolate) and suggested that we try the breakfast burritos. We took the suggestion. Good call. Bacon, egg and cheese burrito with green salsa. Tasty morning grub. We shared one for the road. Probably should have ordered two. Best coffee shop in the area. Drinks are always on point and staff is always helpful. We have been here multiple times now and recently stopped by on our RV travels. The baristas were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. These ladies overheard us talking about ordering extra iced coffees to save for the next day when we wouldn't be by a coffee shop, and made our coffees without ice so they wouldn't get watered down. I would have never thought of that myself so I appreciate their thoughtful suggestions and their ability to really listen and care about their customers. I'm not sure how you train and retain your baristas but whatever your doing, it's working! Literally the best team I have encountered in a long time. These ladies are always attentive and happy when we come through. This is the only coffee shop we visit when in the area because of the staff and quality coffee! read more

I am a coffee stand owner in Spokane who has recently moved to CDA. It was sadly extremely difficult to find good coffee in the area ! Thank goodness there's a Wake Up Call on 4th street. They are leaders in the Spokane industry and they have brought their delicious espresso and awesome staff to CDA. ( I've worked with some of their staff so I know first hand how awesome they are !)
