Wi-Fi does not connect and signals are extremely spotty. We rely on that for emergencies happening back at home, and this was quite stressful throughout the trip. This was our first camp camping trip with our new RV and we will not be coming back.

Despite the campground being full everyone was respectful and there was average noise for a populated area. We stayed Sunday night and then there were lots of spaces available. If you have the time to stay midweek I definitely recommend it. All the amenities were still available with a lot less people around. There were several flushing toilets, dog spaces and other amenities. We didn't have time to golf but wish we could have. We did try the pizza and it was delicious. We went tubing down the river and were warned that it is not a lazy river and that some steering would be required at times. The trip took about 2.5 hours for us and there were several trees and rocks to navigate. Still lots of fun but more of a work out than I anticipated. We loved this campground, and even though it was more than we usually spend on a site, it was worth it. We look forward to returning in the future.

I called Crosslake Rental and Leasing yesterday 7/16/26 to see if I could rent a jet ski for two…read moredays. I read their rental policy and it clearly states all renters must be 18 or older to rent the jet skis. Because I am 20 years old it was important to me to make sure i could rent the jet ski. I even told the man on the phone I was 20 years old yesterday. When I showed up today 30 minutes early the same man I talked to on the phone was helping another group and told us "You're thirty minutes early, you'll have to wait" I said that's fine and waited. He then showed up and said we would need proof of insurance on our truck and the ID of who was renting the jet ski. I provided this and he said I had to be 21 to rent the jet ski. So I wasted an hour of time when I could have been on my boat out on the lake. Very unhappy with the service here and would not recommend renting because obviously they don't follow their own policy. Reply to owners reply: that's besides the point update your rental policy and don't accuse potential costumers of lying. I had no reason to lie to you I gave you my id expecting there to be no issues. You've been rude throughout the experience as well. If you are considering renting from this company look at the other reviews where these guys lied and scammed costumers!

We took 3 kayaks (Crow Wing sit on tops) and a canoe in a 3 hour float down the Crow Wing River. Current was just about perfect. Drop off from base was only about 10 minutes away and take out was about 400 yards from base. Afterwards we stopped at the bar and grille next door. Try the special BLT with the grilled wild rice bread...or a grilled cheese on that bread would be great! Don't forget to have a 1919 Root Beer. Outstanding day on and off the water.

We delayed the pick up by 4 minutes because we were filling the jet ski with gas. The owner was rude, impatient, argued with us and questioned us if we're were putting the correct gas in the tank. We are the customer and a 4 minute delay did not deserve this type of treatment. Also, I never receive a confirmation email when I initiated the rental even when I called twice asking for one. The owners are clearly disorganized and understaffed. I will look at other companies to rent from next time.
