Rich Daugherty - Professionalism and Excellence personified!!!…read more I recently had an opportunity to work with Rich Daugherty as his client. First and foremost, I found him to be a wonderful human being who showed genuine care and empathy. Rich is an experienced professional, very knowledgeable, considerate supportive throughout my case. He took the time to thoroughly understand my situation, provided clear and strategic guidance, and was responsive to my questions. I was impressed with his "friendly interrogations" to gain comprehensive factual understanding of my case that formed the basis for formulating a compelling narrative leading to a positive outcome that I was satisfied with. I would highly recommend Rich, without any hesitations for your employment attorney needs, who is not only skilled but also genuinely cares about his clients. Thank you, Rich, for your excellent work!

I am grateful he took my call, and used his deep expertise to coach me through each day of an incredibly stressful month. One of the most brilliant attorneys I've ever worked with, and I've worked with many in my career. Don't be fooled by how empathetic and kind he is--he won't be trifled with in your defense and you will be taking notes on his negotiation skills. His passion for his work is inspirational. I could go on, but will summarize by saying I cannot recommend this man enough, particularly for any executive-level guidance you may need. Thank you for everything, Rich.

Ever heard the phrase, "Paper Chasing Attorney or Ambulance Chasing Attorney?"…read more This is what comes to mind after the adversity, emotional pain and suffering we endured at the hands of Attorney, Matt Gambale, as well as a huge pecuniary loss! Mr. Gambale took a case, threw everyone involved or so he thought was involved, up against a wall, hoping something would stick for his client. And nothing stuck! He was even reprimanded by the Judge for a tactic he executed in front of the jury. He was out of line and unprofessional. The Judge set forth a fine as well, having to pay another attorney an hour of his time for his stratagem. We were forced to hire and pay an attorney being our company is an LLC and we could not represent ourselves, not once but twice! The first time the case was withdrawn by Gambale and later refiled. Maybe because his client was in prison??? We lost time away from our daily lives and work as we had to meet with our attorney on several occasions, attend meetings with other parties named in the lawsuit and answer numerous emails and many phone calls. This is time we will never get back, for a non-productive citizen, who is a career criminal and his attorney! This was a frivolous lawsuit concerning our company. A civil lawsuit that we should have not been involved in! A civil lawsuit that Gambale LOST! It didn't take the jury long at all to deliberate. YOUR CLIENT'S ACTIONS CAUSED HIS OWN INJURIES! Sadly, we paid a settlement amount of $2000.00 just to get out of the lawsuit because it was cheaper than paying our attorney as the case went to trial. Justice? Is this truly Justice? Absolutely NOT! Shame on you Mr. Gambale! You thought you had a case. You saw $$$. You did not do your due diligence. And as I stated to you in the hallway of the courthouse, "I hope your conscience bothers you regarding this case as it concerns us and the losses we endured!" I have prayed to the good Lord above to bless us beyond what you put us through, and the monies spent! Care to reimburse us our attorney fees and settlement fee? We won't hold our breath!

Had the consultation over the phone with one of the attorneys who led me to believe he would represent me only to be completely "ghosted". I was supposed to be emailed some forms to sign, but did not receive them. I left several messages both at the firm and his cell number he provided only to be ignored. This is highly unprofessional. Apparently my situation is not worthy of their time and they didn't have courtesy to tell me.

In a telephone interview, Ceilia Wood (not even a paralegal) promised advisement in the event that they did not take my case. Well, they did not take my case, but they did advise me, I suppose... to look for another firm in The North Carolina State Bar Membership Directory search engine. That is not advice; it's a broken promise and breach of good faith. When I pointed out that the standard intial interview is widely accepted within the legal profession as consisting of a MUTUAL conversation between client and lawyer during which questions are answered, Cici - unapologetically - admitted, " I believe I did not do a good job explaining how our firm works. Our firm reviews cases before offering a consultation, the phone call I made to you was to get that initial information. I am not given the reasoning of that decision or the reason of why we give a specific referral. Once that decision has been made it is final." I then pointed out the apparent hypocrisy of their website: "We don't consider you a case number; you're a real person with real problems. So, we will treat you the same way we'd want to be treated: with respect, compassion, and honesty. Your rights and interests will always be at the forefront of everything we do." "Contact Us for a Consultation." I then offered a layperson's position: Google informs that "a preliminary or initial consultation with a law firm is standard procedure and a crucial first step in the attorney-client relationship that serves as a mutual evaluation where both client and attorney can determine if the client's case is a good fit for their practice." ** Crickets **

Let's start with the first…read morecall With Mike McKay, during the consultation he informed me that I had no chance of getting a settlement because i worked for a corporation in NC, and I would get workman's comp only. Then proceeded to tell me about a case he had where a worker was ordered to go in a trench and then buried alive in concrete and how in his trial he lost to the business. A pretty poor attitude to start nonetheless I gave them the opportunity to take my case. After going to clinics with no help from their staff in arranging any thing dealing with my condition, they demanded my health records in digital format. Informed his paralegal that I did not have an account and would be happy to sign a paper release for medical records for that specific facility since I had only been there after the Work accident injury. His firm than said, give me your name and password to your epic account and that's when i knew I was dealing with an unprofessional group of clowns that can only settle a workplace injury if the person dies or is paralyzed for life. After I informed Mike McKay of his unprofessionalism and threatened to relay these texts about sharing passwords to the Bar as well as super lawyers, he called me trying to explain he didn't want my case anymore. Go somewhere else if you care about your case ! I will be reporting Mike McKay for blatantly breaking common sense security protocols for health care data

Chris did an amazing job at capturing my experience and organizing the events of my situation. He was beyond understanding and kind. Chris advocated for me and thoroughly researched my case. Laura was a FIERCE advocate for me! I will forever be grateful for her and for what she does. If I had any advice for someone new to a legal situation similar to mine, it would be to trust the process. Especially if Laura is your attorney. It's beyond difficult at times but they are an experienced, competent, and committed group of legal professionals. I can honestly say, if she takes your case she will be your most fierce advocate. She has an exemplary professional background and it shows. Thank you Noble Law for your time, effort, passion and advocacy! You truly are the best! I feel like I am finally getting my life back!
