There's a basketball hoop and plenty of space, although I was surprised to see that it was so close to the road and not fenced. There's a table/chair but it's not that close to the playground. THE SMOKING GUN We…read moreall know this place is sketchy af, proprietors appear friendly and welcoming however I've just realised how high they are on the sketchy level. If you pay by EFTPOS rather than cash, as well as charging a 'convenience' fee, it is charged as a 'cash advance' instead of a purchase. Therefore the banks charge around $5 for the 'cash advance' service each time PLUS interest is charged on the initial purchase price. So it's an extra $3ish on each individual item $5 plus interest (20-30%) on any purchase made by card. No wonder they hide the eftpos screen every time - i thought they were trying to hide the 'convenience' fee, which I was ok with. I've only just noticed this while reconciling my bank statements. Also, fun fact - some banks refund the independent ATM fees - not sure if this across all banks. I always forget my debit card and can't get cash out using my phone, which is how I got caught up in this ridiculousness.
