I waited for my order of bagels and clearly saw staff bring out what were sandwiches. This isn't the first place that had been unaccommodating to me as a foreigner. It's disheartening because my daughter lives in Berlin and loves it. I wish the people were a little more friendly.

So it was actually a phenomenal bagel. I haven't lived in NYC for almost a year so maybe my taste buds have adapted to the lack of good bagels in London, but I'd consider the bagel to be NYC quality. Similarly, the service was akin to NYC. A bit snobby honestly. With that said, the vibe on the inside was amazing and it seemed like a great cafe for working during the day so I'll give them credit for that. The bagel was expensive - €4.50 for a bagel with cream cheese. The amount of cream cheese in the bagel was a joke. Thank god it was a good bagel because I basically ate it plain lol. We ordered breakfast bagels with coffee and sat outside with many narratives walking back and forth. The bagels are very well crafted and the shmeers and fresh tomatoes and onions are tasty. The coffees were well made. It was fun to travel there. If you are still hungry, there is a bespoke donut place next door. Highly recommend this place.

Had a great soy cappuccino (why the hell order a cow's milk when the soy tastes just as good!?) and a delightful chocolate cranberry cake (also vegan).
