I called them and a very sympathetic gentleman named, Jason explained the entire process and my every option. He gave me a price over the phone. He explained to me that their service includes pickup of the pet anywhere in Stanly. Since I am located in Cabarrus he allowed me to bring the dog to him. He was punctual. He was caring and kind. Everything happened exactly as said they would. The cremated remains were returned in a wooden urn with the name engraved on the top. He also made plaster footprints as a keepsake. Along with the urn we received a certificate of cremation. If you ever have the need to have a pet cremated I highly recommend Uwharrie Pet Cremation services.

I've called twice to ask a few simple questions (i.e. if they had any appointments available that week; if I needed to bring my dogs rabies proof in or if they called the vet to verify themselves) and she was absolutely one of the most rude people I've ever talked to. Every word out of her mouth sounded like she was annoyed I was wasting her time. I was looking for a new groomer as our old one moved away in April, but why on earth would I give my business OR take my baby somewhere where they think it's okay to talk to customers that way?! If that was an employee, (same woman answered both times) then she should be fired. If it was the owner, I have NO idea how in the world you have any clientele.

I appreciate they don't keep my dog in a cage for a long period of time. As soon as they are done I get a call to pick him up. Anywhere from 1-4 hours wait time. I do wish they would remove the screen they recently put up because you can no longer watch the dogs being groomed. Prices have gone up which is unfortunate but I understand they are just keeping up with the increase costs they have to pay.

I'm writing this review about a visit I had in September of last year. I am a first time dog owner…read moreand at the time of the visit I was new to the neighborhood. I took my dog here while on a walk because he needed another round a vaccines and a general check up. I got in and into a room quickly and Dr. Link came in. I told him what I needed done and asked a few questions common for first time dog owners as well as questions about the shots he was giving my dog and he gave me vague and dismissive answers. I asked about pricing while in the room, he said he would come back with an answer, he did not. He sold me a pack of heartworm meds for dogs 25-50 lbs, my dog was 45 lbs and only 8 months old, so obviously still growing. My dog is now 58 lbs. We got the vaccines, checked out, and I had left before I realized I was charged a $50 new client registration fee. When we got home my dog was shaking his head non stop like he had something wrong with his ear, sure enough there was what looked like a tick in his ear. I removed the tick and put it in a bag and brought it back up to the clinic. I asked Dr. Link if it was a tick, he was extremely dismissive and told me it was just normal earwax buildup. I was still visibly unsure and he begrudgingly offered to look at it under a microscope, he did, and sure enough, it was a tick!! (Note he did not look in my dogs ears during the initial check up.) I write all this to say, do not take your pet here if you love them and want good care for them !!! Dr. Link is dismissive and lofty, especially to younger clients, not to mention exorbitantly expensive. I drive 30+ minutes now to go to a good vet.

I found her pricing to be very fair compared to others and easy to understand what all would be included. Sydney is very sweet and did a great job capturing the love and bond between us and our dogs. She was able to capture so many special moments which made it hard to choose our favorites. I absolutely love how our final photos turned out. I would highly recommend her and use her services again in the future. Thank you!
