Long post regarding our treatment today from NOAHS BARK GROOMING. First let me say this was Bella's…read more4th visit there. Only had a minor issue one time prior with her coming home really scared. Well today she had an appointment at 1:00 pm for her grooming. Dropped her off at 12:45 and I was told it would be an hour, hour and a half and normally they are sooner than that and we get a call to pick her up. So instead of wasting gas coming back to the west side my son and I stayed in the NE heights. I ended up messaging through FB messenger asking about Bella and no reply (until after I picked her up). So I called and Noah was so rude and condescending and it was embarrassing as I was on Bluetooth with my son and my son kept looking at me like what the heck. I was in disbelief with the way I was being talked to. I told Noah the same as I typed here. How long i was told it would be and I was calling to check because I was concerned because of the one time Bella didn't do too well. He immediately got defensive and said they had another appointment at 12:30 that took longer than expected. I said when I dropped off Bella nobody was there and no other dogs and that should've been communicated to me that they were running behind and I wouldn't have gotten concerned if they told me it was going to be longer. All well trying to get this out of my mouth, his tone was rising with me and interrupting me. So I let him and asked him are you really taking this tone with me, I'm just checking on my dog. He first told me, he was sorry I was having a bad day, that they are busy and his son was in the back washing another dog when I dropped off Bella and didn't appreciate me calling him a liar because he is a pastor and they are having a busy day and getting ready to go to Washington (not sure what that has to do with me) I told him I never called him a liar and didn't appreciate him talking to me the way he was and also that I am NOT having a bad day. I told him if he's busy since it has been 2 1/2 hours I would go get Bella. He then said you must pay for services and I told him I will pay for what she received as I never said I wasn't going to pay. He ended the call with God bless you in a rude manner. I did talk to my son as I raise him in the church that we don't use God bless you to anyone in a manner or the tone he did. Fast forward... Pick up Bella (video in post) I recorded as I was concerned with the way he was talking to me. As you can see in some of the pictures my son is scratched up bad and I am too. In the video you can hear my son at first excited for Bella and then hear him start to cry after he got scratched. I asked about her nails being cut. The groomer a woman I will say is very nice and explained that she couldn't cut any lower on her nails. I did tell her this has never happened in the 3 years we've had her with issues with her nails. Then I get charged and the price went up. I asked if they changed the prices and they said yes, which I wasn't aware but I paid and NO I didn't leave a tip. I believe paying $47.00 was already too much for the service I received today. Back to the message I sent on fb to check on Bella. The owner then replied nicely, like nothing happened. I did write him and advise him that Bella's face was still dirty and her nails cut my son. He then denied it writing, we recognize none of that is true! I sent him pictures of my arm and my son. I am ok with my scratch but my son was scratched up pretty bad to where it made him cry, in Noah's place of business. So deny that, I sent him pictures of the scratches and my dogs face and his response was God bless you my sister we mean that! Don't use being a pastor or a christian to deny the crappy service we got. Not only was I demeaned by this man verbally, we didn't get the services I paid full price for. He also mentioned tear stains would need to be diagnosed by a vet. Well groomers would know that my breed of dog it's a natural process for them and that's why I get her groomed. Nothing is medically wrong with her. I added a picture at the end when she's been groomed and her face is clean. I will NOT be going back to this groomer for his lack of professionalism and using being a pastor to defend his business that no wrong was done here, or give him an excuse to talk to me the way he did.

The bonus is that, with the most recent change, whatever they are using gives our dogs the SOFTEST coats ever. Very soft and fluffy, and it lasts for about a month. They do really well with both dogs (including our girl, Storm, who is not always the most sociable) and we appreciate their consistency of care. My one quibble is that they can't seem to call us when the pups are ready. We've confirmed the phone number, and they say they call, but no luck so far. So just be prepared to have to call to make sure your dog is ready. No

I am not a groomer so that is why I pay for my baby to get groomed today was the worst he's looked ever! after being "groomed "She charged me 10 extra and did not take extra care to make sure his face was cleaned up and cut nicely! Perhaps because I asked her to be extra cautious because the last time they groomed him there was a small but concerning/nic on his private area that was red. I asked why the extra charge all you do is use clippers to remove the matting she said it's because she needs to buy blades more frequently okay! However doing a lousy job is uncalled for she left the hair on his face chopped up and crooked so if you decide to take your pet here make sure they are already groomed prior to taking them here for a grooming!!!! Never going back to pay for this type of very unprofessional service!! I even gave her a 10$ tip !! that was prior to noticing how bad the grooming was today!!! it doesn't even rate 1 star

They need their whiskers to help them see: you cut them clear off. You went so close in his armpits: they bled for 24hrs. You nicked his cheek and did an awful job with the cut: size varies it looks like a child cut his fur with sharp clippers. Sadly, you went so close to his private part that we have to put ointment on so he can use the bathroom. I called you and text you about this. You said you wouldn't charge my card for the butchering of my dog--- YOU DID. I get that you offered me a "free" cut and wash "next time" as well--- but you must be out of your mind if you think I would subject my dog to this torture again. I cannot believe you still proceeded to charge my card when you said you wouldn't. We use to bring all the dogs, and for years. We came before under this new management and have had issues every time but usually you can fix them. However this takes the cake. If I could give negative stars I would. My poor dog. I will post pictures as soon as I get them off my other phone so other consumers may see this mess!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED ANIMALS HERE!!!

We had him on a two week nail trimming cycle and now, she's backed me off to just once a month. And, all for $10 bucks a visit. Who charges only $10 for anything anymore?? No one...except Arysta. She's clearly running a business of love...love for the animals and a love for what she does...clearly!!! They have a plethora of additional services from dog grooming to day and over night stays. During my last visit, Arysta threw in and put on a decorative Christmas bandana for my whippet which probably cost more than the clipping itself. That's the type of thoughtful service you just don't see very often...100% genuine sincerity...and nothing else!!! Bookmark this business - you won't be disappointed!! Jax Pet Services is multi-multi, five star award receiver on that "other" site :D. Well done and enjoy!!!

Daniel's Pet Makeover did a wonderful job with our two Pomeranians today!…read more This is the first time we've tried Daniel's and we were very pleased. Daniel was very accommodating, getting our dogs in on the day we had asked for, agreeing to use the shampoo we use on our Bella's sensitive skin, and made sure to protect Buddy's ears as we asked. Our dogs came home looking great! They were tired from a busy day out at the spa and looking like a million bucks! We'd definitely recommend Daniel. He's in a small, sort of tucked away shopping center near Little Caesar's on Paradise, but he's happy to give detailed directions so call and give him a chance.
