Riverside is an awesome establishment. I met Dr. M Koan…read morewhile she was at another clinic. Her patience, knowledge and Professionalism is and was outstanding. Her practice in Flushing is based on her wonderful view of life. I have taken my two Golden Retrievers there for several years now. She and her staff, take the time to answer questions and accommodate our needs. Staff are friendly and always patient. They know us by name and are willing to manage prescriptions and services with patience and flexibility. I trust them implicitly. One of touching parts is how the Dr Koan and staff see the dogs personality. The 'patient' is not just a dog. She has a soul and personality that is respected. Before Riverside, I only had to drive 15 minutes for my dog's care. I willingly drive 45 minutes to be with these wonderful caring professionals. I highly recommend Riverside clinic, Dr Koan, Support staff and newly added DVM's.

I would suggest that the customer is called when your puppy is ready to go. They usually have her ready to go by 10am, but today was a different story. I've been sitting in my car (84 degrees out) for an hour and 25 minutes and she is STILL NOT ready to go. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! It doesn't make sense for me to go back home because it's 40-45 minutes away. Outside of this miscue, they are really good

Absolutely the best! Greta is our second pup from Janice. Our first, Harlow was in the very first…read morelab litter Janice had with Phoenix & Cowboy. Harlow was the love of my life!! She lived just over 12 wonderful years & was the best girl~even-tempered & everyone that met her described her as "sweet". I kept in touch with Janice throughout her life, sending photos of our adventures. When Harlow passed in Dec 2023, we waited almost a year before getting Greta. I reached out to Janice in the spring and advised we'd be ready for a pup around Thanksgiving. She said that she'd be breeding in July and would keep me posted. Our girl, Greta was born on our anniversary (10/1)! We picked her up the week of Thanksgiving, just like I did Harlow. I hadn't seen Janice in 13 years. We hugged & I got a bit teary-eyed. She walked me in & introduced me to this small but mighty sassy girl. She was the runt & she was everything plus that we had hoped for in our second pup. Greta is now 4.5 MO's old & the sweetest girl. Eager to learn, eager to please, & full of that good puppy energy! Thank you Janice for the care & love you put into these babies!!! Our family is once again complete & our home is gushing full of love! (Two pictures are Harlow. All other photos are Greta over the last 7 months~healthy & getting so big!)

They saved my cat's life…read more When my cat was in critical condition, they acted quickly, focused on what actually needed to be done, and didn't try to sell me thousands of dollars' worth of unnecessary tests or procedures. Within about an hour, she had been treated, safely recovered from anesthesia, and was ready to come home. That wasn't just a temporary fix either. She went on to live with me for years afterward, and I will always be grateful for what they did. I know there are negative reviews here, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Veterinary medicine involves triage, emergencies, and difficult situations that not everyone sees behind the scenes. When it truly mattered, this team delivered. The doctor is outstanding, and the staff have always treated us with professionalism and compassion. After my experience, I wouldn't trust another veterinarian within 100 miles with my animals. If you're looking for a veterinary team that puts your pet first when it really counts, this is the place I'd recommend.
