The company performs surprise inspections of insured properties with no notice and then sends letters to policy holders threatening to cancel your policy unless you provide proof of non- existent "needed repairs". When you try to explain to them that the compliance issue they are imagining is a result of the fact that you cannot see everything from the exterior of the building they ignore you and persist with threats to cancel you. Their staff is arrogant and disrespectful to long time customers who are paying their salaries. Update: I found out (only because I asked) that their "loss of income coverage" for income properties only reimburses you at 10 percent! Yes that's correct. So if you have a fire and two vacant units that rent for $500 each they will only pay you $100 for both apartments for each month they are vacant due to a covered loss! I have cancelled policies with this company and switched to J.B. Harrison insurance whose policies reimburse loss of income at 100%.

He promised to contact an underwriter, get the property evaluated, and get back to me within a few days. Well, when it got to two days before my deadline, still hadn't heard from him so I call the office and got his wonderful receptionist again. As usual, he was on the phone but she promised that he would call me back that afternoon. Still haven't heard from him yet! Went with my previous company as their customer service was good and it looked to me like Mr. Sailor was busy enough not to want any new policy from me.

She set up a short 10-15 minute meet and greet consultation via a weblink to get an understanding of our needs. The call went well minus some technical problems on my end but she was completely understanding and professional through it all. We down loaded an app called Tax Dome that we used to upload documents and communicate through. She asked us to take Pictures and upload tax documents from our previous year as well as our current taxes. The cost was around $300.00 for our service. Everything was handled remotely. If she needed additional information she sent us a message. When we were traveling and needed a few days she waited without pressure or attitude. Very professional and outstanding customer service for a first time user did not go unnoticed. Our funds have been deposited from the state and federal and our payment for the service completed. My bank account and personal information protected and a good sense of completing task safely.
