This is actually my first visit to a Wagamama anywhere, ever. The whole experience was fine but nothing special. A bit of background, we were given a voucher for Wagamama which is why we decided to pop in to this particular restaurant situated in the Intu Centre for a 'quick' lunch. After queuing for 15 minutes then finally being seated it took at least another 10 for a staff member to serve us. The food was slow to arrive and also came out at wildly different times - in fact I had finished mine before my husband even got his which was disappointing. Both meals were tasty but not enough to make us want to return. Maybe it's because I'm a huge champion of independents but this was probably more expensive than some of the amazing indie restaurants that Derby has to offer with half the atmosphere. Take my advice and don't queue in this soulless shopping centre - head to the Cathedral Quarter instead and support your local restaurants! read more
