Time for an updated review. My mom wanted something different and was craving some breakfast for dinner. Plus, it's my husband's favorite. I'm not a huge fan of waffle house as noted in prior review, but everyone deserves another chance, right? Welcome to dinner and a show! When we walked in, there was a couple waiting in front of us to be seated. The tables were either full or waiting to be cleaned. We decided to take some chairs at the bar. It wasn't 2 minutes after we sat down that there was arguing going on between the staff including foul language. Don't get me wrong, I am not naive to the fact that kitchens are hectic but waffle house has a different dynamic in the sense that your customers can see and hear everything you say and do. Their was a table adjacent to us that decided to leave stating they would not tolerate listening to such language while trying to eat. I don't blame them. Another couple that walked in after us ended up leaving. We ended up taking the booth in the corner that ended up abandoned. The table was cleaned with a grungy dish rag that had been sitting out somewhere on a counter. Also had an odd smell. Napkins were set out on the wet table with wet silverware. Gross. How is it everything is sticky? Food was mediocre. My husband's toast on his sandwich was burnt. My eggs were so overcooked they were flaky and the omelet didn't hold together. The sausage had burnt crispy parts flaking off of it. My mom never received her bacon and the cook wanted to pitch a fit to the waitress that he wasn't paying for it. Throughout the whole evening he was berating the waitresses stating he just works angry and anyone who works with him knows this. It made for a very uncomfortable evening. read more

Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness I've never having a waffle and a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more Savory breakfast than a sweet one. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try. read more

Zero complaints here. The place was clean, the food was good and on time and the staff was friendly. They all had smiles and kept my cup full. I'll be sure to stop in every chance I get. read more

We stopped by this Waffle House yesterday and had a good breakfast. They were short staffed and had part of the seating area closed. The person that made our meal memorable was a line cook named Kevus. He seemed to me to be the one person keeping the restaurant restaurant running. He was super friendly and exceptionally competent. This was one of the best Waffle House establishments I've ever eaten at. I stopped by on a Sunday morning at 10AM leaving Statesboro, GA. The restaurant was clean, the staff were hospitable, the food was fresh and soo good! My sister and I ordered the All Star breakfast with grits and cheese, eggs scrambled lightly w/cheese, bacon, wheat toast, chocolate chip waffle and orange juice. The food was ready quickly and surpass our expectations. I will definitely return when I come back to visit. read more

Our party of 5 was very disappointed. Server was either new or inattentive! Only one server/employee wore her mask! Some had no mask, others wore them around their neck or chins. They were boisterous, loud, joking, not attentive to our table. NEVER came back to our table, only to slide the ticket in and walk off. I've had both dine-in and takeout at this location!!! I recommend eating inside... The wait staff are polite and the cooks are pretty good, compared to the other location. However, they loose a star as it relates to to-go orders. I've been placed on hold for minutes waiting to place an order, only to have to call back. My order was incorrect once, and they are slow as it relates to takeout orders. read more

My husband and I had unfortuate experience with this particular Waffle House. The girls were friendly and dressed in accordance with the company standards except the cook. Get this picture wearing a top too short, too tight, pants sliding down ass, bending over exposing her plumber ass, not to mention this woman having a bad additude did not help with our dining pleasure.
