However, I like having a local office that knows who I am when I call to make odd changes to my policies. For a while, we had someone steal our car title and fradulently get a loan on it, so we had to get our agent office to ONLY accept any changes to our policies if the change was accompanied by a photocopy of our driver licenses, and verify the changes by calling us at home, etc. -- and they were happy to go the extra for us. We just recently moved to Brookings, and ended up with Allen's office in the harbor. The people there are very helpful, prompt, and getting to learn my name. It's all good.

I had prior problems with State Farm, so I was apprehensive, but that was decades before so I gave them a second chance. We moved all of our policies over, closed on the home, moved in, and then was notified that an agent had to come to take pictures of the home. Fast forward two weeks when I was notified that the home required a second road for access in case of a fire! ?!$#@ so I have to get a road built through state forest or lose my policy? Well apparently no one at State Farm knows how to use Google Maps. I should have learned the first time! Jake did us dirty... Seriously, if you have State Farm and there is only one way into your property, call your agent. SF ended several policies prior to the Pacific Palisades fires for similar reasons.

We were then happy to find out we could get all our insurance needs through Daryn. We have auto, our travel trailer, our home, life, just about everything you can have insurance for. Our rates are constantly going down. Even if we add a vehicle or change coverage, it goes up for a month and starts coming back down again. We appreciate the staff, they always remember you and are super friendly. Who doesn't like being treated well by a business??
