Dr. Gannon was on call and performed his surgery that same evening, implanting a titanium rod in his right leg and securing this with a few screws. Throughout our 9 day hospital stay, Dr. Gannon was thorough, patient and in no rush to move us out of the hospital until our patient was ready to be transferred to a rehab facility in town. I can't say enough about the level of care and service which were provided by Dr. Gannon. As I popped into restaurants and shops throughout town during the week, I have heard many more complements to Dr. Gannon by others who have personally worked with him, or have had friends or relatives have surgery performed by him. In a town like Bozeman, he certainly has a lot of experience putting together broken bones and replacing hips!! Great ortho MD!!

First, a word about Bridger Ortho itself. My experience has been that they run a tight ship, very organized and well oiled, which ensures that my own time is not wasted or spent in frustration. The whole business is designed to get people in and out on time, and make it an easy, stress free experience. Jon Robinson is an excellent surgeon who inspires confidence. I have heard tell that his bedside manner leaves something to be desired, but if so, it never bothered me. My first surgery was flawless, the pain gone within weeks. The second one has not produced the same flawless results, as 3 months later I'm still experiencing pain. However, I'm confident that this will be rectified shortly.

I had knee surgery at Bridger several years ago for a torn meniscus. The surgeon told me I would…read moreneed a replacement in a year or two so I asked to just do the replacement at that time to avoid two surgeries. He refused so I agreed to the meniscus repair. I was in more pain (excruciating) after the surgery than before, my knee wasn't healing properly and there was a lot of fluid discharge. It was so hard to get through to my provider by phone and my messages went unanswered. I finally went to their office and was seen pretty quickly (probably because they didn't want other patient's witnessing a patient crying uncontrollably in the waiting room.) An ex-ray showed that the surgeon had left a glob of something in my knee so he had to do another surgery to remove it. When I woke up he told me i needed a knee replacement; Just what I wanted to avoid. Of course I went elsewhere for my knee replacement. also felt like they move patients through as quickly as possible probably to maximize their profit. Their follow up is terrible. I know two other people who had unsatisfactory results from joint replacement surgeries at Bridger.

He described why he thought a complete shoulder reversal would be the best solution. We discussed the details and I agreed with his plan fully. On the day of surgery, he stopped in preop and said that he had performed the complete surgery the night before on the computer and expected no surprises during surgery. That made me feel good. He seems like a pretty busy guy; he doesn't waste time with chit chat but made me feel confident going into surgery. After surgery, he stopped in and explained to my wife and me that surgery went very well. I had my last checkup with him after 14 weeks. I have another appointment with him on the one-year anniversary. Prior to surgery, Dr. Beamer explained the limitations that I'd have with the new ball and socket. I ended up having better movement than was anticipated. Pain was very minimal; only used extra strength Tylenol and lots of ice and compression with the Breg Polar Care Wave machine. I did do all the recommended work in PT and at home. I would not change anything. Dr. Beamer was a true professional. I highly recommend Dr. Beamer. I had a wonderful experience at Bridger Orthopedic. Coffee was good. Staff was excellent. Appointments were always on time - no surprises.

I got a second opinion that said it would heal back on its own and I would be fine. 6 months later I'm back to 100% strength and mobility on my previously injured side along with 0 pain. It felt like he was trying to take advantage of me as a young man in pain. On top of this he was condesending and rude. He didn't take the time to explain anything to me or listen to my questions/concerns. I would never recommend seeing Dr Beamer.
