I had so many knots that needed to be busted and I'm so glad I came here for just that. My tight shoulders and upper traps told me it was time for a massage and I quickly made a same day appointment. Arrived early which was a little bit of a mistake. I had to wait a bit outside, which was unpleasant but it was fine. Once in the room, I undressed and the gentleman got to work. Love this place! I am a female in my twenties and wanted a good massage place that I felt safe enough to go to at night by myself, and this place was very comforting! I even had a male masseuse and still felt very safe and they were very accommodating. So I came here for a massage earlier today. I read all the previous Yelp reviews because I am paranoid about cleanliness and I also know that some massage spas double as a sex operation, and I wanted to really vet the place to avoid either of those situations. Unfortunately, the latter ended up being true, and it ruined what was otherwise a perfectly pleasant experience and a stellar massage from Nicha. When I arrived, I was led into my room. I knew from the photos that they had curtains instead of doors, which I was fine with. The room itself was clean and nice. After letting me change, Nicha started my massage which was going great. She is very strong and strategic, it was really helping me. Then I hear a man come in-- fine-- again, there are no doors so I expect to hear some walking around and whispered conversations. I'm about 20 min into my massage and I start to hear the other man in there moaning. At first I tried to tell myself "some people make a little noise during a massage, I can tune this out." But it started getting louder, as well as grosser. Like the sounds just seemed really, really sexual. I commented to Nicha "this is really hard to relax with this guy moaning so loudly." She apologized and even said something in Thai to the other therapist to get the guy to stop. I was on the fence about just ending the massage, but Nicha was doing such a good job, really helping my pain. About 10 minutes went by, and then the man starts moaning incredibly loudly. Up until this point, I am trying to convince myself that this dude just makes awkward aroused sounds during a massage. But what happened next was, his sounds started building up, and then he very, very clearly had an orgasm. Like started grunting, breathing really quickly, saying "yeah, yeah" and then a massive sigh/moan. Trust me, there was absolutely no chance it was anything else. I was so grossed out. Nicha apologized profusely and I could tell she felt bad. I told her I just wanted to get out of there and she said "okay, let me just stretch you out a bit before you go." I'm glad she did because it honestly helped me relax after the tension and disgust. I nervously got out of there and paid. I only tipped like $7 because I just felt grossed out, but I felt bad and Nicha deserved more as it wasn't her fault. Personally, I have nothing against sex work nor do I judge people who perform sex work or solicit it. However, it was an incredibly uncomfortable and disgusting situation for me to be RIGHT NEXT TO IT. If you have a client who comes for sexual pleasure, why not schedule them at a time when no one else is there? So that is what this is about, the fact that I had to listen to a man orgasm mere feet away from me. Why run your business this way? Also why risk your business by allowing that kind of thing in front of a female client who is obviously going to be upset by it? Honestly, otherwise the place was clean and pleasant and Nicha gives a great massage. I would say spend the extra money to have her do a home visit if you can afford it, you do not want to risk the traumatizing experience I just had. read more

Therapist seemed a little unsure of himself and didn't really listen when I asked for slightly more pressure on my legs. Set up an appointment a month in advance with Nadia, manager/owner(?). Not only did she lock in the requested time slot for me, she hooked me up with a fabulous deal for a 3.5 hour relaxation package. This package included a 2 hour deep tissue massage with a 90 min Wadee's signature body scrub. Naturally, I demanded a therapist capable of the deepest pressure and scored! Massage: If I had to define "deep tissue", this session exemplifies the term in every way. All achy muscles and knots were identified early in the process and given the attention they needed. Despite the fact that only curtains separated the massage tables, minimal distractions were detected the entire time. Scrub: My first ever body scrub. Unlike K-spas*, Wadee only exposes the parts that will be scrubbed. The difference maker: they use two different types of scrub mitts, one for larger surface areas and a smaller version for curvy areas for a uniform treatment. My skin has never felt more smooth! One question I meant to ask is why they didn't scrub the pectoralis major or the washboard abs** region. Massage was so basic, it's like it was her first time giving a massage, I had better massages on those cheap foot massages. She gave me an abdominal massage at the end as if I had a 6pack! I have an ongoing knee issue and am in physical therapy weekly, Nachi knee exactly how to and HOW NOT to move it. My knee has basically caused the rest of my body to hurt as well, and that first 60 min treatment had me blissed out. Inconsistent. My boyfriend and I came about a month ago and both received amazing massages - stretching, deep tissue, pain points addressed and overall it just felt like they put in effort. Yesterday's massages were the complete opposite. When we made the appointments we were asked what kind of massages we wanted. We both asked for deep tissue / Thai combos. To start, my male masseuse didn't even bother to ask where I had pain. He immediately started rubbing lotion on my back with zero pressure. Basically a lazy Swedish massage (I think?). 5 mins in I asked for more pressure. He responded by putting his elbow in my shoulder blade (not even the muscle - literally the bone) then went back to rubbing my arms. 10 mins later I put my head up and asked if this was a deep tissue massage he was doing. He responded by walking on my back with 100% of his weight wherever he felt (on my spine, on my hamstrings, on my lower back which was especially painful as he was stepping again on bone). He got off AND AGAIN I had to ask for more pressure as he immediately went back to a lazy Swedish style. He even went to get SUPER hot stones which he just rubbed on me with no effort. The rest of my massage was a lazy blur - it all just felt so pointless. No neck or shoulder attention at all despite telling him to focus there (during my second request for pressure). My boyfriend sadly had the same experience with his female masseuse. Very lazy, lackluster, inconsistent rubbing with no pressure or attention to the places he asked her to focus on (She at least was kind enough to ask at the start of his massage - she just ignored it lol). It sucks cause our first experience was epic! This time was sooooo disappointing, I'll never return - I can rub lotion onto my body at home for free. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a few years, but I left disappointed after my massage. There's no privacy, each "room" is separated by curtains and you can hear people having conversations. The massage was painful. The masseuse basically dug her elbow into my back. I asked for lighter pressure but it was too light, then asked for a little more pressure but it hurt again. I asked for light again and figured this was better than getting someone's elbow dug into my back. The masseuse was also sick, she kept sniffling and sneezing. And she answered her phone in the middle of the massage. Upon check out she made a point to ask for a tip - which I found odd. I feel more sore now than I did prior to the massage. My back was injured after getting a swedish massage. I'm now in physical therapy for damaged back muscles. I took 4 days off from work because 3 of them I couldn't sit down without crying, stand up without crying or lie down without crying. All that aside, At the time, the massage wasn't terrible. The staff were nice enough. Reasonable pricing. Ambiance was terrible. My friend and I got amazing massages here. I honestly wasn't expecting much since it was so cheap compared to other massages I normally get around West Hollywood, but it turned out to actually be comparable/better. I thought it was adorable that before you go in, you can use these stuffed voodoo dolls to pin where you want some extra attention. The room itself is actually communal, but every bed is fully curtained off and it's very quiet and peaceful-- you just occasionally hear masseuses checking in their clients about the pressure. The massage itself was amazing. I put a bunch of pins in my upper back/trapezius on my voodoo doll and she did an amazing, thorough job on them. She worked hard to knead out my knots and tension. I loved loved loved the part with the hot stones-- they feel so amazing and I was sad when it was over. At $39 for the first massage, it's definitely worth a try! I asked for a combination of Swedish & Thai massage, but its funny that the lady didn't even know how to do a Thai massage at all (totally inexperienced)!!! She barely used oil and her Swedish massage didn't look like a regular one too. She was pushing irrelevant part of my body hardly, and put a lot of pressure on my spinal cord!! After 40 minutes, I wasn't able to tolerate it any more, and asked her to stop it! Oh the funniest part is that at the end she told me why you didn't take your appointment with a man to massage you more conveniently!! Really?! I still don't understand what does she meant!!!! Thoughtful front desk service, friendly staff, small beds seperated by curtains (so it's not completely private), and more rubbing than massaging. Their massages here aren't great but they aren't terrible. They apply pressure when you ask them to, but they just do not use the parts of their hands/arms that I would prefer (I asked for Swedish). For example they rub you down more with the palms of their hands instead of using their thumbs/fingers to dig through knots. So for me, it was just too much rubbing and less massaging. My masseuse was a very sweet lady, but she also just seemed like she did not know what to do. She would spend 5 seconds on my upper right back, then jump to my left hand, then randomly rub my neck and continue on circling around me constantly because she couldn't focus on one area for more than a few seconds -- it was all over the place like she had no clue what she was supposed to be doing. In the end, I stopped my massage early. They refunded me for my remaining time and were very professional/apologetic.
