We've done practically every family photo here, along with so many of the themed holiday sessions -- Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas, and more. They always do such a beautiful job with the sets and photos, but what really keeps us coming back is the experience they create for our kids and our family. We have so many memories documented here that I know we'll treasure forever. And our annual holiday photos with Santa have become especially special to us. My girls are completely convinced that he is the real Santa and that any other Santas they see are just his friends helping him out because, obviously, the real Santa is very busy taking pictures with them That alone tells you how magical they make the experience for the kids. We're so grateful to have found a studio we trust to capture our family as our kids grow. So many milestones, holidays, and little seasons of life are hanging on our walls because of them. We'll absolutely continue coming back!

Michael handled our fun, chaotic bunch with so much professionalism, patience, and kindness. He was incredibly accommodating and helped guide us through all the different groupings needed to make the photoshoot a success. The pictures turned out beautifully, and we couldn't have asked for a better place -- or a better person -- to help us capture such a special family moment.

Eastbrook Photography - Amazing Family Photo Experience…read more We had such an amazing experience with Eastbrook Photography for our family photos! Although she normally specializes in baby photography, she welcomed our family in and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. We chose an indoor studio session because of the heat, and her little studio oasis was perfect. She selected two beautiful backgrounds that matched our two outfits perfectly. Everything came together so well that even she was impressed! What stood out most was her attention to detail. She guided us through different poses, made sure our bodies were positioned correctly, and kept us laughing so the pictures felt natural instead of overly posed. She's friendly, outgoing, and you can genuinely tell she loves what she does. Our photos were ready within just a couple of days, and they came out fantastic! We felt relaxed throughout the entire experience and would absolutely use Eastbrook Photography again. Highly recommend if you want a photographer who makes you feel comfortable while still capturing those special family moments. Until next time... this has been "The Kendall Experience."

From start to finish, Janice was professional, creative, fun, friendly, and easy to work with. She arrived early to set up and made everyone comfortable in front of the camera. I would absolutely recommend Janice to anyone looking for a talented, reliable photographer for special occasions. She truly made this milestone unforgettable!

She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable right away. Nothing feels forced or awkward, and the photos come out looking effortless. At the birthday party she captured everything, the reactions, the laughs, the little candid moments you would have missed. We ended up with so many great shots it was hard to narrow them down. Our engagement photos were just as great. She gave just enough direction without overdoing it, and the final images felt like us, not overly posed. Janice is professional, easy to work with, and clearly knows what she's doing. We're really grateful to have these memories captured so well and would absolutely use her again.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

If you are reading this right now, you should go ahead and book Carmen already for your big day! ;)…read moreYou absolutely won't regret it!! My husband and I knew we wanted to book Carmen early on in our wedding planning process - in fact, she was the first vendor we booked. After we picked a venue, we worked with Carmen's schedule since we knew 1000% that we wanted to have her document our big day. From the beginning Carmen was super friendly and communicative with quick responses throughout the week (usually on weekends she is likely at a wedding). She was also very organized and had questionnaires to help us get to know each other better on a more personal level so we wouldn't feel like strangers on the big day. We went with one of her packages which included an engagement session (which was super fun and matched what we were envisioning - a "naturey" theme with mountains/hills in the background), a second shooter (who was super amazing!), an heirloom album (which we are currently working with her on), and more! The engagement session was extremely helpful for us because we were slightly nervous before the shoot, but the more time we spent with her, the more relaxed and at ease we felt (which is saying a lot because my husband and I are both introverts). We liked that Carmen could help us naturally pose and that her editing style was not too overly edited but allowed the natural beauty in each shot to shine. We also really appreciated Carmen's flexibility - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who have varying schedules and sometimes work weekends, but she was able to still plan our engagement session and our Zoom calls around our busy schedules. After the big day, when we look back on our wedding day, one thing that really stood out was how many of our guests were amazed with Carmen and her second shooter; the small details Carmen noticed made a lasting impression on a lot of our family members such as when Carmen and her second shooter would hold onto our guests' purses or sunglasses and make sure everyone looked essentially before taking photos. My mother-in-law couldn't stop raving about Carmen and how attentive she was to each guest. We also enjoyed all the photos of the wedding venue, each of our guests, and small moments and details that my husband and I might not have noticed since we were all over the place on the day of our wedding. At the end of the day, while all the food and drinks have been consumed, the music has been played, and the decorations and flowers have been set up and taken down, the only thing we have to reminisce on is the photography and documentation of our special day, and that's why we trusted Carmen to be our wedding photographer and would recommend her a thousand percent to all our friends and family. We are looking forward to creating the photo album with her so that we have something physical to always remind us of our special day!

They take the time to understand who you are as a couple and the story you want to tell and really how you'll look back on your wedding day for years to come. Carmelisse was that and more for us. From the moment we saw her photos from mutuals' weddings we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding. In our first meeting, it felt like talking to a long-time friend and it was an easy decision for us to put all our trust in her and her team. She was the first person we hired after our wedding planner. We actually contacted her the month after we got engaged in 2021 but her 2023 book wasn't open yet. After conversing via text and email for months, we met her for the first time during our engagement shoot and she captured us and our dogs perfectly (YES, she capture our anxiety-ridden GSD mixes with smiles and they stood still, and the doggos absolutely fell in love with her husband, THANKS REX!!) She helped us pick the area and with putting together comfortable poses. Her turnaround time was so reasonable, the photos are just plain awesome. I have a hard time putting into words how great they are but I literally tear up with happiness every time I look through my album (which I still do ALOT). For the wedding day, Carmelisse and John kept us hyped and on schedule. A lot of things happen on the wedding day and Carmelisse was already ready to help us adjust and adapt. She captured all of our memories so beautifully. I can't stop singing her praises for her work and her as a person. She truly cares and it is seen through her work and her actions on the wedding day. AND Carmelisse is so stinking great - I went through a health scare the morning of my engagement shoot, I was trying to power through because I was afraid of canceling late but all Carmelisse cared about was that I was ok and she immediately rescheduled without additional thought. Carmelisse will be our forever photographer and we want her to shoot all of our future milestones. After our wedding, so many of our friends and family have already added her on Instagram for the future when she can shoot their wedding or life event.
