Avoid this dealership at all costs. From their sales department to their service department, they're awful. I was car shopping and the car salesman were terrible. No room for negotiation on anything. I requested more information on the internet price and asked what we could do to take ANYTHING off the price of the car. They sent me the internet price plus my taxes and fees and said the internet price was the best they could do. They're full of crap because EVERY OTHER DEALER IN THE AREA had a better price. Like $3K minimum better. Don't let them fool you about "employee pricing" and internet pricing being the best they can do. That's crap. I took my business an hour outside of ATL and got way better prices for the same car. The service department manager (F. Hunter) is a disgrace. I brought my vehicle in 10 days after I bought it due to a pressure crack in the window. The associate clearly didn't see impact anywhere because he took 5 mins running his finger up and down the 10" crack that started at the corner of my windshield so he went to get his manager (F. Hunter). Guy looks at it, rubs it, and then starts PUSHING HIS PEN INTO THE CRACK OF MY WINDSHIELD and said nope, I can't fill out a factory claim because there's impact. He said he didn't want to "waste his time being rejected from ford" because he felt impact...which his own associate stood there confused. They're crooks. And even after the manager blatantly walked away when I was making my case, the associate clearly portrayed he knew they were in the wrong as he was trying to get my vehicle moved. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The local mechanic down the street even told me I should've avoided that place because they're crooks. Lesson learned, READ THE REVIEWS and take their dealership rating reviews seriously...there's a reason this place only has 2.5 stars. If my one star would go lower, I'd have it in the negative. People who give this place a 5 star are solely on their "new vehicle" high. read more

Ignored for five days! I dropped my car off on a Monday at 7:30 a.m. I explained my car's dash light problem in detail to Ed, a service employee. He told me it would be a 3 - 4 day job. I heard nothing, so I called to ask about my car. No one called back. So on Thursday morning, I went in person to Wade Ford to speak with Ed. He seemed annoyed and said he'd call me with an update at 8:30 a.m. when the mechanic arrived. No call. That evening, I left a message for Fred Hunter, the service director. No response. Five days went by with no updates and no returned call. On Saturday morning, I gave up. I got a ride to Wade Ford to get my car. When I walked in, I was greeted by Ed saying, "I don't have an update." Ok. I told him I was just picking up my car. I asked him for the fault codes that came up when they scanned my car. He said he didn't know because their mechanics "hand-write" them. He said he would have to call the mechanic to get the fault codes. He never called to get them. Ed left to retrieve my car (which took at least 10 minutes as my car was not in a work bay, but parked somewhere in the back lot). I saw Mr. Hunter and explained my situation. I asked him if he knew the fault codes. He looked up my car and there were no notes. He said they must not have found a problem with my car because they only scan when there is a problem. (Auto Zone can scan my car for free anytime, so I'm not sure why Wade Ford wouldn't.) So I asked if a mechanic test drove my car to check the problem. Mr. Hunter replied that mechanics typically test drive cars. But he couldn't confirm my car was actually test driven. There was nothing noted during the five days my car was there. With no explanation or information from Wade Ford regarding what was done with my car over five days, the only conclusion I can come to is that no one looked at my car. They simply parked my car and ignored my calls. I left Saturday feeling blown away by their lack of awareness that keeping possession of someone's car with no communication is wildly problematic. If Wade Ford can't or won't work on a car, they need to tell the car owner so other arrangements can be made. As I drove away through the Wade Ford parking lot, the problem dash lights came on. Of course any mechanic would have seen this if they test drove my car. No one did. Another Ford dealership has offered a solution to fix my car. Took my pickup truck in to get a leak fixed, they had the truck for a month and where they told me the leak was cost $500. I gave them the right away to fix it but when I went to pick up my truck and took it home after 30 minutes of being home the truck was still leaking in the exact same spot. I called them but no answer plus I left a message and no one responded. Pretty much gave away $500 to make my truck leak more. Only one lady advisor was nice as well. Saturday afternoon I tried reaching him about picking up my van. He finally reached out to me by text after 9:00pm. I text back and said why are you reaching out so late and you'll been close since 6:00 pm. His words were I worked late and what do that have to do with me picking up my van. My salesman Dee and the finance Manager continue to lie. After the fourth day I couldn't get my van that I had purchased I asked for my Deposit back, again the liar Philip Malone told a lie that they had to put in $2,000 water pump since when a water pumps cost $2,000. Although my liar Salesman Dee told me that they put in air filter. SMH ‍ I just wanted my deposit back at that point now I was scared to take van, since they both had lie on the reason I couldn't pick up my van. One star is one too many for this dealership. I wish I checked here prior to my visit. I visited the dealership Tuesday looking for a Bronco they were advertising on their website. It appears they were advertising a vehicle that was reserved for someone else as they special ordered the vehicle. I was approached by a salesperson Dave who, as he stated many times, was just transferred to the dealership from across the street. I asked if there were any in transit and he said he will go print out window stickers of what is coming. When he returned he said he can't print as he is not hooked up yet since he was new there and didn't know what was wrong. He then said he will go ask his manager for help. He returned empty handed. I asked if the manager was refusing to help, he responded he is not allowed to say that. I then asked if he would at least show me what is coming that he was looking up on his phone. He obliged for me to only discover he was looking up the vehicles on the Wade Ford website and looking at vehicles that were just outside on the lot. Not incoming vehicles. I then decided to ask if it would be ok to speak to the GM and maybe he would tell me what is in transit since he wouldn't tell him. He took me to his office and I spoke to him that was the supposed GM that did not share his name. He said that the woman who would know that is off and would be back in tomorrow. I joked and said that is good job security if only she knew how to do that. He then said that he could do it, but it is HER job. I chose Wade Ford Service because of the high KBB rating. My service experience today was HORRIFIC solely because of SEAN DUNLAP. He had very little respect for me and my time. When I called for a price quote, I clearly stated that I had a 2011 Ford Escape and required a tune-up. Furthermore, it was communicated that my departure must occur by 2 pm, as I have an obligation to collect my 5-year-old granddaughter from Charter School. When making the appointment, he assured me that it would not be a problem. When I arrived for my 8 am EDT appointment, Sean stated, "Oh, I thought it was a Fusion," your vehicle has a six-cylinder and not a four-cylinder. I acknowledge that a six-cylinder may be a mere $70 extra. However, as a former automotive dealership employee, I comprehend the significance of increasing the initial quoted price to appeal to customers for sales and services while earning additional income. I called Sean at 12:31 pm EDT to ask for an update on my car since he didn't follow up as agreed. He explained that there was a spark plug issue. He said it would be another 2 to 2 1/2 hours (ETA 2:31 to 3:01). At 3:51 pm EDT, I contacted Sean again after the second scheduled time had lapsed. He notified me that my car was nearly finished with its road test and instructed me to "proceed to the dealership." I had already informed him that I was waiting in the lobby. He said the higher-ups didn't bill me for the supposed "additional service." However, it's important to note that Sean never mentioned any extra service or its associated fees to me. I am tremendously displeased that Sean failed to communicate with me throughout the day. I feel that the full responsibility of initiating communication has been unfairly placed upon me by him. It should be known that COMMUNICATION is the foundation of all customer service. Because of the treatment I received today, I am questioning whether I or my family and friends will ever purchase another Ford. Most Deceptive Dealership I ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The dealership Rance made an agreement to have everything ready for a service member to purchase a vehicle with limited time. Was told everything is ready just come in and sign. Active Duty serviceman shows up, they would not give the serviceman an additional $500 as promised, the car was not ready, and the deal had the wrong vehicle identified. Totally irresponsible, misrepresentation, deceptive practices. I recommend all Active Duty and Veterans buy elsewhere. Avoid these deceptive tactics. William's responses are a joke to one's intelligence. Would not be honest or resolve a customer's issue if his life depended on it. Then, they lied again, saying they would now add the $500 in and deliver the vehicle if the negative post was deleted (coerce) a no, no. So, original was deleted and still would not complete the deal. So, post is back with the additional misrepresentation, deception plus the final acts of deceit. Obtw, I will also now be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. Once again, buy anywhere else unless you like being taken advantage of and lied to. Good information in pictures attached that may help folks. If you need to file against this dealership, you have to have Registered Agent served. Recommend you use a lawyer. One final note for you Rance, your abuse of your position and arrogance caused you to make a very poor decision. You should have listened to Thaddious he is obviously smarter than you in making business decisions. You had a chance to resolve and your arrogance clouded your judgement. Wade Ford is located on South Cobb Drive and sits on both sides of the road, one with new cars and service and the other with their used inventory. I happened into the dealership one day to get a battery cable/connector repaired as it was a Ford specific part. I pulled into the service bay and was immediately greeted by one of the service advisors. After I shared what brought me in, she promptly whisked me away to the waiting room while they took care of the issue. The waiting room was nice, it was off to the side of the main showroom and featured a coffee/water station, a large TV and a cafe...that's right, a freakin cafe in the waiting room of a dealership. They served sandwiches, hot dogs, pizzas, wraps, breakfast, snacks and drinks. After about 45 minutes, they came my way and let me know I was ready to do and the price was $0.00. They determined they could tighten the part back up and it would regain full functionality, so they did so at no cost. Overall, from entry to exit everyone here was helpful and polite. And the fact that they took time to troubleshoot and repair my vehicle, although minor, spoke volumes to their customer service. I'm not in the market for a new ride, but will be using them for all my repair needs...and may even swing in for a chicken sandwich if I'm feeling adventurous! read more

Took my Raptor in for warranty repair. Told me no Ford gives loaners and it would take 3 weeks. 8 days in they never touched my truck. 2nd time this happened. Took it to Jim Ellis Ford and they gave me a loaner, replaced shocks, repaired infotainment, replaced fog lights, and fixed my 4x4 in 48 hours plus sent me videos along the way and constantly texted me updates until 8 pm. Then Jim Ellis offered to drop off my truck and pickup the loaner. read more

For over six months I Went back-and-forth between Wade Ford and Hennessy Ford. Hennessy was worthless, and my car literally sat in a ' Queue' For two weeks, waiting for someone to even look at it. I then take it to Wade Ford And they tested it and said the part to correct the AWD sensor was on recall, but they could not get it in until October. They never called me when the part came in And when I called them, they acted like they knew nothing about the issue or my visit for that matter. I then made an appointment and took my car up there for them to tell me the specific part was $4000. Clearly I took my keys and left. At this point, I Have absolutely no faith in Ford service. I took my car to anthem automotive In Buckhead. They were able to replace the center in. My car was fixed in 48 hours.. That was three months ago, and I have not had any issues. I dropped my vehicle off on Friday 9/6 and was unable to get any information on the status of the vehicle until I drove to the dealership myself 3 weeks later to find out that it was "done". Throughout the duration of 3 weeks, I called and emailed 20+ times and not one person got back to me. They said they would get me a loaner vehicle, which never happened. And they said they would call me an uber to pick up my car but after repeated attempts, I was unable to get anyone to call me the Uber. I'm still driving on an expired dealer tag illegally because they refuse to provide a new one. They say on the one and only time I could get them on the phone "oh the mail is slow". No, it's August. I recently did an online purchase of a pre-owned F-150, and when I came in to check out the vehicle and to finalize the paperwork, the salesman, Steven, informed me that the truck was in the body shop getting some minor repairs and that I wouldn't be able to inspect or test drive. Normally I wouldn't have finalized anything before seeing the vehicle, but it was the last day of the month and I wanted to help the salesman/dealership get the deal done for that month, and I thought with Wade Ford being such a large dealership with good online reviews they wouldn't try to pull anything shady. When I came to pickup the truck, the salesman, Steven had already left for the day (how convenient) and I noticed that the tailgate latch was chipped and the gas gauge was stuck on a quarter of a tank but only had 19 miles to empty (who wants to pull off the lot and immediately have to get gas?) The next day, I took pictures and sent them to Steven asking for them to be fixed, and his response was the pictures online showed the tailgate latch and they would not fix it. There was no individual picture of the broken handle, just pictures from a far. I asked him if it stated that it was broke in the vehicle description, and he quit responding. I then called the dealership and left voicemails with the sales managers and never received a call back. You wouldn't think it'd be that big of a deal to fix minor things like that, but it's clear Wade Ford doesn't run a business of integrity. I highly do not recommend this company. read more

Had the most odd and uncomfortable test drive of my life at this dealership. Test drove a used Raptor with a salesman named Jeremy and from the time I walked in the dealership I felt unwelcome. When he pulled up the raptor it was making a rattling noise, I pointed out it only had gas to make it 23 miles to which he said "it's fine we have 23 miles." Then during the test drive he barely said anything to me, couldn't answer questions about the truck and then when we got back to the dealership he just sat there in the truck and didn't say a word. Super odd, super uncomfortable. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Then today, the following day, the dealership has been blowing me up to come test drive the raptor.. I bought a new late 90's Ranger and a new 2000 Mustang from Wade Ford. Then from a particular salesman there I bought a new 2016 F150 and from same salesman bought a new car signing with my daughter, another new car for my wife, and had my other daughter buy a new car all from this same salesman. I then buy a new 2022 F150 in which he pointed at the window sticker for the price. After all the paperwork was done and I got home with the truck, I noticed the starting price was $2000.00 higher than the MSRP sticker price. I went back to Wade Ford and to complain to him that he intentionally mislead me when he upped the price without telling me and why would he do that. He said he" thought" he told me but I said no because I would never agree to it. He then said they up the charge of $2000.00 on the trucks in their lot. That should be the first words out of their mouth to potential buyers as that is a lot of money for the buyer and with interest added to it. I asked for the $2000.00 back but he said no. While he kept the two grand on it he said he gave it back to me within all the other monies listed and pointed to the $2500.00 listed on the sheet. I told him no he didn't because the $2500.00 off that was given was due to a combination of using Ford as financer, military discount, and for buying it that day. That money was discussed before I found out about the upcharge. Bottom line, no matter what else was put on the sale, it all should have started with MSRP sticker price, not $2000.00 higher. I also found their finance guy added GAP insurance to the deal when I specifically told him I did not want GAP insurance. When I went back to get it removed, his reply of course was that he "thought" I told him I wanted it. Included in the deal before finding out about the $2000.00 extra, salesman said he would throw in a free drop in bedliner. However, he said he made an appointment for me to get it installed and when I went there to get it installed, no one in the service department knew about it. Eventually found someone in parts department who knew and said It need to be taken to another location to be installed. The guy in parts department took my truck down the road, had it installed and brought it back. When he showed me I saw that it was quite dirty as it had been outside and filled with rain water with a mud line about 7 inches high in the bed liner with lots of wet and dried up leaves in it. I am disabled and 68 years old and it took me an hour crawling up inside the back to scrub it clean when I got home. It is Ironic that the temporary license tag I was given has the slogan, "Save with WADE". Our family will never buy another FORD. read more

We took our Ford Focus Electric in for service and it came back WORSE than we took it in (after 3 weeks there !). We had a headlight that went on and off. They charged us $1200 for a headlight ! I picked it up, drove it home and then noticed a really weird smell in my house near the garage later that night. It was our newly "fixed" Ford Focus's battery smoking !! Never happened before I took it here. We had it towed back. During this time my husband got an email asking him to fill out a survey about Wade. He shouldn't have filled it out while they had our car, but he did and it was truthful (i.e, not favorable toward Wade). Next thing that happened was that the Wade Svc Mgr called him and & told him if he wanted them to fix his car (again) for free, he would have to fill out a new survey saying that Wade Svc Dept was great. If he didn't "amend" his previous sruvey, we would have to pay almost $3k. So basically they were blackmailing us in order to get our car back. My husband wouldn't do it. HANNAH was our service person and was so mean and awful. Didn't care about us or our car. She said over and over that a smoking battery was common & of course it wasn't there fault. (Ummmmm.... we've had that car for 8 years and never had a smoking battery). We ended up having to tow it out of there and to a place down the road that replaced our battery for $350. DO NOT GO HERE EVER !!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE !!! My brother is a lawyer and we are in the process of suing Wade Ford and Ford. Hello I want to share a remarkably negative service experience I have had with Wade Ford in Smyrna. I dropped my vehicle off 3 weeks ago. I asked that the degraded Cowl around the window to be replaced, the window fluid washer to be fixed so that it sprayed on the window and not the engine, an estimate on the passenger side window not going up and down sometimes (it was agreed that this would cost $250 just to look at) and estimate for the rear break light to be fixed. Nothing else required an estimate to before being fixed because a rough cost estimate was provided. All the recall stuff was also to be repaired. I called multiple times speaking to what seemed to be a clueless offshore representative who would always promised to have the service department call me directly but they never called me back or ever initiated a call to me about the repairs. My husband had to go there yesterday and demand communication about my vehicle. At this point they give the SUV back with the recalled items repaired along with the windshield spray. Nothing else was repaired. Between my husband and I, we have purchase 6 vehicles. I have used Sandy Springs Ford for repairs without any problems in the past but it's much further out than Wade. I just spoke with Peter at the service department and asked him why no one ever called me (no answer) and why the Cowl was not repaired and he just said well we wouldn't do that without asking permission first but no answer on why they never called. I asked a few times how someone would reach them directly and he would not give me an answer today over the phone. All good things come to an end. My last visit was Aug 09, 2018 and was my last visit. I had to go back a 2nd time because my car was fixed adequately the 1st time & the wrong battery was installed in my car as well. I'm just going to jump in... 1. Replaced my battery with the wrong battery 57 series not the correct 65 series 2. Fix R pulling in steering. Service Advisor Offered me to ride alone for test drive - this NOTE never occurred 3. Alignment guy & I disagreed. He intentionally places camber in due to "bowed" roads. Well, my car steered R! I had him adjust it again. Didn't care for this. I took my car to NTB to get my alignment corrected. 4. On 2nd visit, SA said I would be expedited today. NOTE. Not true. 4 hours later my car was done. 5. The customers wait times are now excessive. 6. The cafe' is now the employee hangout and social area. 7. No longer impressed with Wade Ford My opinion? I wish you luck! read more

I've read the reviews and I can now understand why so many have a problem with this place. They provide you the worst customer service experiences possible. Purchased a car in February and I'm just getting a tag in August. Issues with the warranty being no one is on the same page. I've gone back a few times and each time I return the person I spoke with previously have been let go. There is no retention here at all. If you're looking for a car and look for the dealer to be of any assistance this place is to be avoided. If you have straight cash to buy and can get assistance from any other place, make your purchase and do not return. I found my vehicle on my own and needed nothing from the dealer. They put a bad taste in my mouth about ever purchasing an American vehicle. read more

I did call the Wade Ford Service center. The Service Manager was busy at the time, but I spoke with an advisor Kelsey. She listened patiently to my situation and promptly set me up a new appointment to have my truck serviced and one of the recall updates done. She came out and picked it up personally, and returned it to me in less than 2 hours. They could only do one of the recalls because the part for the other one still wasn't in. She promised she would keep a watch for the part and let me know when it is available and would make an appointment to get it done in the next couple of weeks. I still can't give the full 5 stars because they did drop the ball the first time. If I could, I would give Kelsey 5 stars. She was polite, professional, courteous and genuinely concerned that there was a problem to begin with. Perhaps the worst customer service I've dealt with in my 57 years on the planet. I've always been a Ford guy -- Mustangs specifically -- so I've been to a lot of dealerships. My experience with Wade Ford was on the used car side. I went to purchase a used Volvo XC60 for my daughter's first car. I was hoping to find a really well maintained used car for a decent price, and that's exactly what I found there. The car was in near showroom condition, and Aubrea, the amazing sales associate I worked with, showed me all of the things to look for to see if the car had been well maintained, to give me peace of mind when buying a used car for a new driver. He and Danny, the Sales Manager, spent as much time as I needed going over the price, and comparing it with comparable vehicles being sold elsewhere. I felt like I got an amazing deal, and wasn't taken advantage of at all. When it came time for me to come back and get the car, it happened to be the day it snowed, and they were closed. Unfortunately, my daughter's 16 birthday dinner was that night, and I wanted to give her the car there, so Danny ended up coming all the way down to the dealership in the snow to let me get the car, which was the best customer service I have ever gotten. Erny, who does the financing there is awesome too. Such a nice man! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or used car! read more

The transmission on my F150 was blown. Even though Wade Ford knew they couldn't look at my truck for 2 weeks, they required me to drop it off to "wait in line" at the dealership. After having my truck for 3 weeks, they came back and said they were unable to diagnose the problem. Throughout the 3 weeks, I had to call the dealership multiple times for updates (they never proactively contacted me with updates). Thereafter, I took my truck to a different dealership (Hardy Family Ford) and they had the transmission problem diagnosed in less than one week. I've bought 3 different vehicles from Wade Ford, but my next one will be from Hardy Family Ford! read more

Service department needs some improvement. I scheduled an appointment a couple months ago online and received notification I'd be contacted to confirm. That never happened. I got online earlier this week and scheduled for the following Saturday, which indicated they had plenty of appointments available. I needed an oil change/10k service, a recall (a simple inspection and tightening of underbody insulators), CDP (a simple reflash of the heated mirror module), and a TSB (also a simple reflash to correct the rough shift/skipping from 1st gear to 3rd). I placed all that in the online form. I arrived 10 mins before my scheduled appointment time. When I notified the service rep, he stated all they could do was the oil change/10k service and gave me 20 excuses why they couldn't do the others (don't do them on Saturdays, no parts released...keeping in mind 2/3 requests were flashes and the other was checking/tightening bolts, with no parts required, too many appointments today, told me the CSB wasn't for my vehicle when it clearly was, etc). I'm like well, if all this is the case, why didn't someone call and tell me all of this before the appointment and/or seek to schedule me for a drop off on another date? That was followed by even more excuses as to why that didn't happen. Upn my return to pick up my truck from the oil change, we did get the other items scheduled for another date. Hopefully that experience is smoother and better than this one. read more

Jackson at Wade Ford fully lied to me. I called about a car their website advertised - he said it was not yet spoken for. I asked him 4 times to make sure because it is a rare color for the model and we were going to be driving all the way from Birmingham to get it. He swore to me that the car was not spoken for, that I was the first one to call about it, and that he noted in the computer that it was on hold for me. He said we had an appointment for 9:15 am, Memorial Day. We drove 3 hours from Birmingham, on our day off, with CASH in hand to buy the car, only to learn that he had LIED. They didn't know we were coming, the car is already sold, and the folks in the dealership were all clear on this. Wade Ford, you need to get your people to operate with at least some integrity. I purchased a car on April 4th. The buying experience wasn't the worst but still your typical back and forth let's see what we can do, let me ask the manager etc etc. fast forward to today and I still haven't received my tag. The temporary tag expires on the 19th. I called last week to ask them what the situation was and was told the mail is slow and that I should go to the tag office to deal with it, but that they would look into it and get back with me. I never received a call back. I called again yesterday and asked again. Was told they would get back with me. And never did. So today I decided to go up to the tag office to see what the situation is so I can get my tag. An hour and a half of my day I had to spend on this. They told me at the tag office that the tag was applied for on May 8th. The day I called them to ask where it was. I contacted Wade Ford again today and was hung up on once after asking for a manager and then put on hold for 10 mins and then sent to the same voicemail from finance that never called me back. Horrible customer service and a complete lack of doing their job! And not willing to own up to it or make it right! I will never buy another car here again! read more
