I can not recommend David enough if you are looking for the best and most experienced trainer in Waco. He recently moved and started training out of The Lab. Their equipment is new, the facility is clean and well maintained and it is a perfect setup to work with your trainer without the usual distractions at most gyms(noise, overcrowding, smell).

Gym is clean and everything is in good condition! I typically only have to share the gym with one or two other regulars + their trainer. Everyone is so nice, polite, friendly and accommodating; they are happy to share equipment and make sure they're not in your way or hindering your session at all! I love working out here and will be sad to leave. If I weren't moving, I'd train here forever.

I have been going to Josie for several years for acupuncture, Thai message, and Chinese herbs. I…read moretypically go every other week and spend up to 3 full hours with her doing all three. We do acupuncture first. She does an in-depth analysis without too much judgment of my personal eating habits (ha, ha), followed by amazing needle procedures that are rarely all the same spots (which means she is not doing it mechanically). I can't say how effective the treatment is to health issues, but it never fails to turn me into jello and ready for a long massage. Many times I doze off, it makes me that relaxed. There has never been any pain with the needles. If you have never had Thai massage, you don't know what you are missing. I have had all kinds of massages at some of the world's top spas and resorts, and Thai is absolutely my favorite type. I was so lucky to meet Josie shortly after she returned to this area where she grew up and to find out she does Thai was fantastic news.(You are fully clothed and the therapist works his or her butt off moving you, stretching you, and flexing you. It is like passive yoga.) Josie, although petite, is in great shape and in tune with Spirit. Such a sweet soul. Also she is cheap! I've told her several times she needs to raise her prices. Periodically I will have her mix up some herbs for me. I never had Chinese herbs before meeting her. She has quite a collection of bottles of leaves and powders at the store. I get a kick out of brewing them up at home. She also sells herbs in pill form. Her place is clean and peaceful. And to the other reviewer who stated she doesn't return calls, that has never been my experience and is not in keeping with her personality. Countless times she has returned my calls and texts immediately, and has taken the initiative to text me on weekends to see how the treatments are working! Maybe this reviewer has the wrong number? Unfortunately, the experience was the exact opposite of relaxing and left me much more stressed than when I walked in. When I arrived, I pointed directly to the 30-minute option on their service chart. The guy brought me back, but during the session, it felt like it was running long. When I asked about the time, there was a significant language barrier, so he used a translation app and informed me it was actually an hour-long session. I reiterated that I had specifically requested and agreed to 30 minutes, at which point he stopped the massage. When I got to the register, I was charged for the full hour. Frustrated and just wanting to leave, I paid the bill. During checkout, the guy aggressively pushed for a tip--even though tips are optional--standing there, laughing sarcastically, and talking about me to another employee when I declined to tip due to the poor service and billing issue. **It feels like this business takes advantage of customers with unclear pricing or communication barriers.
