Wabbles is the absolute cutest coffee shop in Rincón! So much space, such a fun vibe and honestly a little gem to find especially right next to a dive shop and fishing charter company. I actually tried to stop in yesterday after a fishing charter for a snack and caffeine fix, but they were closed on Thursdays (and there was also no power). Today made up for it in the best way though - because OMG, to my surprise, everything is gluten free and beautiful. Truly a dream. We were a party of three and our server was excellent, giving great recommendations. We ordered the sunrise acai bowl, avocado toast (to share), an Americano, and a delicious iced latte with milk and coconut flavoring topped with fresh whipped cream. Everything was delicious, fresh and perfectly portioned. We also grabbed two cookies to go... and they definitely didn't last long. The space itself is such a treat. Cute pink theme, fun decor, neon signs, donut pillows, the Wabbles train and an adorable coffee bar. If this place were back home, my best friend and I would be here all the time. We went on a Monday afternoon and we were the only ones here. It was a very peaceful brunch. I got the Ham and Cheese Wabble sandwich and it was very filling. My boyfriend got the flat bread pepperoni pizza and it was yummy,I had to try a slice. The service was very nice they seem to be bilingual which is awesome. read more

Very well decorated upon entrance. The ambiance gives me like Barbie vibes. It's a cute photo place. The floor was filled with water so that was interesting. There was no cooks due to a medical emergency, which is completely understandable. The desserts were mid, the chai was good but nothing out of the normal. The pound cake was stale and dry. Really was excited to try this place especially because I had read such great things about the owners. However, the young woman who was working denied us entrance because I have a service animal. I offered to show her the paperwork which I always have on me and was simply told that no animals including service dogs are allowed in. They do have a sign that says "no mascotas," but my animal is a not a "pet." I politely explained that denial is against ADA rights and she simply moved us closer to the door. This was the only denial experience we had during our time in Puerto Rico. Unfortunately what we hoped would be a sweet taste was truly sour. read more

I was hesitant to come here because of the reviews but it's super cute, the service was friendly and prompt and the ice cream (gelato) was really good. I had the coffee and tiramisu and preferred the coffee but they were both good - even the waffle cones are pink! Maybe my experience was good because I just came for ice cream? No se but we came, we had ice cream, we took pictures and I would come again to try more of the menu. read more

I wanted to like this place, but it was very disappointing. Super confusing on how to order. Gelato flavors not labeled. I ordered an acai bowl and it was so watery it was like trying to drink juice with a spoon. Barely any toppings on it as well. My son ordered a milk shake and it was a disaster. Half melted whipped cream dripping all over it immediately. And the milk shake was $13!!!! It doesn't quite seem like the staff knows what they're doing which makes it uncomfortable to order. What a cool place! The house-made gelato is outstanding; every flavor we tried was simply wonderful. We came back three times in one week! Do not discount the dessert case. Each dessert is house-made daily and they are phenomenal. We were so pleased to find this place on our visit to Rincón. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and willing to share information on the shop and how their desserts and gelatos are made each day. On top of their great offerings, this is just the coolest place aesthetically. Done in all pink with spot upon spot for cool photos, it made me wish I had my grandkids with me just for the great photo ops. We were a little hesitant to go here at first, due to negative reviews we found but, in the interest of not allowing a couple of bad reviews destroy a place, we went and were not disappointed. Went there two days to see if it was just because we went early because they had nothing except the waffles. Went with a small group (4) for brunch. It was like they were trying to be bad. After being seated it took over 20 minutes to place a coffee order and another 20 to get the lattes and only because we asked because customers that arrived after we did were getting food and drinks. The food wasn't that great but what bothered us most is that we asked for a coffee that was pictured on the website and were informed that they don't serve that. Got an acai bowl here. On the menu it's says it comes with fresh fruit and granola. I got it with 3 really frozen strawberries on top and no granola. When I went in to ask for the granola they dug up some old granola SMELLED IT and then sprinkled the tiniest bit on top. TL;DR this place is a disaster. We ordered pancakes, french toast, and a bowl of fresh fruit. An hour later we were still waiting, although people around us who came in later were served, paid and left. We said we had to go as we had a surf lesson at 11. They said they'd give us the food to go; 30 minutes later I asked where the food was and they said "we just started the pancakes." There was no visible menus of options or stated prices. Is this a coffee shop, is this a gelato shop, is this a lunch restaurant , is this a bar? It is all of the above... which does none of these well! We had to ask the server what they had to offer because no menu and no prices. It is not the fault of the two young servers.
