This cozy little side restaurant at the Farmer's Market makes amazing use of the freshest local produce and meats, and you can taste the quality in every bite. They put a little extra attention into every dish, making sure it's exactly how you ask for it every single time -- no shortcuts, no compromises. The bibimbap? Hands down the best in town. Honestly, the best I've ever tasted. And for spice lovers like me, their fiery dishes deliver belly-warming heat that truly satisfies -- they do not mess around, but it's the kind of heat that makes you grin with every bite. Ganada is a gem: thoughtful, flavorful, and unforgettable.

I called in to this location after being politely turned away from other locations because they could not accommodate our last minute group platter request. This location only has one person on staff and she happily accommodate my request for 3 platters for our boys soccer team, that I needed in less than 1 hour !! I knew we were asking a lot but this staff member totally over delivered!! Thank you so much for working so quickly to feed our very hungry group ! They went on to win the Gold medal in the final game right after eating their delicious subs!!!

This restaurant will hurt/maim you if you ask for accommodation with an allergy…read more Called in, spoke to staff about working with my wife's allergy at the teppanyaki table. Staff assured us they would either cook her food first, or cook her food separately in the kitchen. Neither of those things happened, as the staff would clearly rather make an assumption that the allergy is false, proven by their disregard for food handling safety. Even before STARTING to cook our food, the chef CONFIRMED the allergy, and assured us he would keep us safe. Chef then proceeded to contaminate his entire cooktop as the meat was ninety percent cooked, at which point we had to refuse our portions of chicken. Our entire table was very verbal, asking "what are you doing, that lady is allergic!" when he used the citrus contaminated tools to turn our food as well. Then, to "rectify" the site, the chefs cooked another portion on the table we couldn't observe, which promptly caused my wife to get hives on her exposed skin and in her mouth and airway. We sent her plate away, three quarters uneaten, with sauces never used as the waitress refused to check the recipe. At the end of our meal, they had the audacity to charge us full price for our meal, even after this blatantly dangerous screwup was pointed out to the most senior staff by the head of our table. Only at this point did they offer any reimbursement/discounting of our bill, with NO APOLOGY. Will not be back, and I strongly suggest that you do not eat here either. Pretty obvious they do not comprehend proper food handling, sanitation, and customer service. Do not waste your money here.

The food is absolutely delicious, with many choices of sushi, sashimi, donburi, hotpot and a lot of chef specials for you to try. Oh and Prairie Sushi's probably the most affordable Sushi Restaurant in grande prairie, when taking into account the size and amount of rolls you get. If you are new to the sushi game or a sushi connoisseur of sorts, visit this location whenever you are in the Grande prairie area. You will not be disappointed! We had the pleasure of being served by Joey; and he was amazing. We started out with the Gyoza, a steamed meat and vegetable packed dumplings while we browsed the menu. We followed up with the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, spicy California and dynamite roll. (The spicy Tuna roll is served with a tasty spicy chilli garlic sauce on top, that adds an extra kick to it). And we ended our evening with a hot bowl of Hot & Sour soup. Overall our dining experience was very delightful and pleasant, just perfect. Happy fun & happy dining.

Our server was all by herself it seems, although there was another staff member wandering around doing nothing the menu is fairly limited which hopefully means the items should be tried and true. That was somewhat the case with a few notable omissions. My Linguine Meatballs were quite good, with three good sized meatballs and a good portion of pasta, that was just a little too done for my liking. The lovely K had the Lemon Garlic Tomahawk Pork Chop. The chop as a little over, but we know how people can be with pork. The cannellini prosciutto mash was anything but a mash with the beans whole , and not mashed at all. It was tasty but not what was expected. We shared a small Harvest salad that was quite good, and a decent size. The decor is hotel, nothing special at all, and has weird chain hanging around the outside. It does however not seem like the front desk is 30 feet away so there is that. Overall it was barely in the four range, but far from a three. If you're staying at the hotel , you might as well give it a go. We also popped into the Skylark pub the following afternoon for happy hour and it was ok. The potato skins had all the right ingredients, just no flavour or seasoning. The price also was pretty high for what it was.
