    Raspberry mousse

This beautiful cafe is located somewhere in Ealing Broadway(if u drive then just park at ealing lol) near hare & tortoise or the station :). They have a button that is written both in Japanese and English and it says push to open! How cute is that?!! Ok back to topic, the cafe is not too small for a cafe shop in London as you know most of cafe shop it's quite small, you can probably seat about 30 people max? Maybe more? Gives or takes anyways, the design or decor is quite clean and it's mixed like Japanese and french... they have quite some selection of pastries and cakes in which I got to sampled 3 different cakes. Chocolate praline: very rich in chocolate flavour and delicious crunchiness from the praline, I expected this cake to be softer but it's more on the hard side, however very delicious and wasn't crazily sweet that can bore u easily, best of my 3 sample so far. Soufflé cheesecake: very typical Japanese cheesecake that is more hard than the fluffiness of traditional cheesecake like uncle tetsu style(sponge-like), I like any type of cheesecake so it was good in my opinion, nothing wow but still delicious, if ur aiming for more traditional type that is airy and fluffy then this isn't the one ur seeking, however if u just want a cheesecake, this one is not bad, give it a try urself. Raspberry mousse: this cake is garnished with different berries on top and it has a full layer of mousse inside and it is wrapped around the mousse by a thin layer or cake surrounding the mousse, it's not too sweet either n delicious. Matcha latte: matcha powder, milk turned into a latte with pretty design, I like it but it is not the best i would say, I feel like they use very little matcha which wasn't strong enough and I don't even like it it strong either, but the aroma isn't strong enough to knock me over. Aesthetically speaking, they all look beautiful and tasty and I recommend this place for ur high tea or cake to take home, however remember that french or Japanese cake is nothing of big portion but they r delicious and more lux, if your seeking for something big then you might as well go to different cafe, if u want quality then this one isn't bad, in fact I really like it! Give it a try yourself! My next try would be their sandwich! Recommendation/suggestion for staff: if you can increase your cake selection menu by few more choices it would be fantastic and adding macaron would definitely be more popular as I did not see macaron in your selection. As for your Matcha Latte, im not sure if you are just doing half of a teaspoon of matcha powder or the grade of the matcha is just not high enough(I'm just guessing I could be wrong) but making it tiny bit stronger will bring out the matcha flavour and the latte will be enhanced. Trust me as I worked in a tea shop and worked with matcha and different kind of teas often.

I love this place super hard. It's expensive, but the joy of sitting in here with its clean edged decor, beautiful crockery, delicious Japanese treats and friendly staff is worth it. If I sit with my back to the window I can almost pretend I'm back in Japan. We've been here a few times; mostly for their Matcha cake, but we've also had the Teriyaki sandwiches and the curry buns, which are like weird hot curry filled doughnuts. Delicious. I plan on working my way through the whole menu; I mean it's Japanese so it must be healthy? Right? ;) The take out comes beautifully boxed as well and you can also order ahead for parties. Get a whole matcha roll for an event. Or just for you, you greedy piggu. Love this place.

Waaaaaaah Cafe. Ah, where to start. Wa Cafe is a cute little Japanese patisserie in Ealing. Not exactly the most on-the-way place to get to, but I have absolutely no problem about coming out here to eat: this place is oi-bloody-shii. The cafe space itself is quite small, there are a few tables (it got pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon), and it's quite minimalist. Still, I like the overall atmosphere of the place, it feels light and there's a lovely view of the green right too. Things what I have eaten here: - chicken katsu sandwich. For £5 you get a LARGE sandwich with delicious, light bread, crunchy chicken katsu, and tonkatsu sauce - extremely filling and tasty. They also do a chicken teriyaki version and a couple of other things that I can't remember off the top of my head. - egg mayo doughnut - sounds weird, but this was really good. Cornflakes on the outside for extra crunch, not greasy, and the filling worked really well. - the patisserie selection is available to view online: check them out (and yes, the presentation is that perfect irl). The pastries are very much in the French style: I tried the seasonal tart, crumbly, buttery short pastry base with pistachio/almond cream and topped with pear and grapefruit pieces. I loved the base, and the whole thing was really well put together. My sister tried the Sakura, a strawberry and cherry mousse type cake. The mousse was really light and the flavours were excellent. Neither of these were too sweet either, so extra marks in my book. - Soy matcha lattes: these are up there with London's best, definitely on par with Lagu's, plus they're a bit bigger than in most places. They also have some of my other favourites such as sobacha (buckwheat nib tea - it's a bit like barley tea but with a nuttier flavour) and yuzu-honey tea. If you're in the area, go here. If you live in Rotherhithe or Zone 9, go here. I've never been one to shy away from travelling to go to good places, but I came here yesterday and I have half a mind to go back today. And I'll want to go tomorrow too. Sod it, I might just move to Ealing.

I decided to finally start my reviews during my dream trip with this one right here. This adorable Japanese cafe fulfilled dreams I didn't know I had. First of, aesthetics? So pleasing. And they're really welcoming too. But let's get to what we're all waiting for: food and drinks. My friend Alana told me that I had to have the Curry Bun, so have it I did. And MY GOODNESS. Crunchy yet soft exterior, well-seasoned curry and bees on the inside along with potatoes. I realized I had a problem when I bought two more to go. To drink I had the Sweetened Plum Tea- Uzo Tea. Now I've been drinking a lot of tea since I've been over the pond and this surpassed my tea-aficionado expectations. To finish up my small meal, I had the Matcha Roll. I may have a slight issue with all things matcha so it was only right that I have this. And boy. This was heavy with the matcha. This is not for those who only slightly tolerate matcha. You gotta love it. I'll be back again to have the Yuzo tea-- sweetened Citrus tea and the Karagi Chicken sammich. Top of the morning to Yu all from London. As always, happy eating and drinking. Definitely is a 5 stars!! No doubt!! So please to come across this cafe. Very pretty cafe with nice deco and renovation. Love their coffee cups. Looks so pretty and guess is specially imported from japan. Good coffee and matcha latte. They do the best matcha latte. I have tried matcha latte at different places most of the matcha taste got covered by the over milky milk taste. Their matcha latte done well on the balance of matcha and milk. They do high quality of cakes. Their cakes are moist, soft and not overly sweet. Been there twice now and can't wait go back again to try all their cakes! Currently they are doing the spring special which is their cherry blossom specialities. All of them look so pretty. If you like to have something savoury you can try they katsu bun or egg mayo bun. Egg mayo bun top with bake crispy cornflakes which really give you the very nice crispy crunchy bike on the soft bread. Look forward to try each and every item.

Very nice japanese Patisserie and Café! Their sweet tarts are amazing, the spicy buns- Curry and Egg&Mayo- are delicious too. I like the iced Matcha and Matcha Latte there too. The decor is clean and cool, the staff is very friendly.

Great addition to the shops around Ealing Broadway! The delicately prepared desserts and freshly baked breads are unique and too tempting not to try. I highly recommend the Curry Bun - it has a doughnut bread texture and just the right amount of yellow curry filling. The coffee prices are sightly above London prices but if you sit-in, the cup and presentation will make you feel like you are having afternoon tea in a Japanese tea garden. Friendly staff and highly recommend if you are passing through!!

Coherent. That's how it's described best. It's clear every detail in the design, interior and exterior of this place is designed by a strong sense of design and practicality. It's a calm place in the middle of a not so much calm area. The Matcha Latte is a bliss. I hope it stays as thoughtful and genuine place as it is in future. Brilliant.
