I kept calling and emailing asking what was going on with my case. They refused to file anything for me or even return my calls. After THREE YEARS of trying to get this case settled and not hearing back from them, the office forwarded an agreement from my ex having me pay spousal support, child support, over 30k in cash, full mortgage payments for the next 3 years and then giving her the house after that. Terrible experience worst lawyers ever. I paid $2000 upfront for a retainer fee. We get a associate lawyer named Chad whom invites my girlfriend out of town on a boat trip. He also whistled at her hinny going up stairs. I was not paying my money to have a guy flirt with my girlfriend. Then they go to court and Chad actually gets less money per month than has already been agreed upon. After this we fired them. I hired this office for family law issues that were time sensitive. The office manager assured me that they would be able to do what I needed and I paid my $2500 retainer. After 6 weeks there were no communications about the status. I couldn't get my assigned attorney on the phone because she was out on medical leave. Yup they assigned my time sensitive case to an attorney who was ON MEDICAL LEAVE!!! Even after weeks of them "working" on it the case went nowhere. I finally did some research of my own to come to the conclusion that we missed the deadline. Now it's been 3 months since I dropped the case to get no refund! Mr Ware told me they used my entire retainer for research! So they charged me for their ignorance! He then told me he would give me a partial refund but I've been up their twice and nothing! This place is really a scam, they accept your business but are immediately only set on getting you to accept a settlement, no matter how bad that settlement is for you. They can control the information you get in regards to scheduling of court appearances and if they don't want you to go to court then they will just tell you it's too far out and wait you out til your worn down and give up. They do not have the ability to represent you at a court appearance and won't put in the effort that it takes to do it. The Office manager pretends to be a down to earth person who is talking sense to the lawyers that are associated but she is really the person that keeps the clients off balance and allows this sham to exist. She buddied up to me about her father being in the navy everytime she wanted to change the subject and avoid giving me any important information. I spent $2900 for this office to help me in my child support case. After paying off my balance I was hopeful for the help they promised me. I met with my assigned lawyer which is not the main lawyer there but they don't tell you that, he told to me for a total of 4 minutes before our case and sent 2 emails. On the day of our case a completely different lawyer showed up and actually told the lawyer he doesn't know anything about the case. I spoke to him after and he kept talking over me and bullying me into a corner. He told me the first lawyer filed a bunch of stuff I didn't need. After months with the same lawyer I had to keep on reaching out to him and every time we talked on the phone e asked me where we stand on the case and asked me to refresh his memory because he has so many cases. After being paid up for months I get a call from Mrs. Morrison saying I still owe money, I told them my records of my payments and she said "oh, sorry you're right". Than come Palma Hurts, after assigned the first again for something related to my divorce, when I meet with Palma hurts I let him know that I already took care of the matter. He let me know that the matter will be dismissed since I already took care of it. I let him know that in this case I no longer need they help, but the refuged to give me my $$ back.
