Called to tell them about it, and they got angry and defensive. We just wanted them to know that they shouldn't sell cars in that shape for use by young first-time drivers. They did end up taking it back, and we traded it for a more expensive used car. The salesman even said he had sold us a "piece of shxxxt" car. Now I see the car is back on their website for sale at the same price they sold it to us for. They just want the sale, and don't care about customer service, AT ALL! We are done with them.

1 STAR -- TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A & R TRUCK EQUIPMENT / A & R TOWING AND RECOVERY AAA…read moredispatched this company to tow my vehicle, and what followed was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a towing service. The driver did not have the proper equipment to tow my vehicle safely. While unloading it, he ripped the door off my vehicle and caused damage that I am now having to deal with. When I asked for an invoice and his insurance information, he refused to provide either one. Instead of taking responsibility for the damage, he told me it supposedly would not cost much to fix. He also made insulting comments about me being broke and my car not being worth anything. That is completely disrespectful and unacceptable. The value of my vehicle does not give anyone the right to damage my property and then refuse to take responsibility. I have repeatedly tried to contact him to resolve this situation, but he will not answer my calls. I have filed a police report and a small claims case with the county, and I am pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal channels. The damage to my vehicle is bad enough, but the refusal to provide insurance information, the lack of accountability, and the disrespectful treatment afterward have made this situation even worse. If you use AAA, I strongly recommend documenting everything when a third-party towing company is dispatched to you. Based on my personal experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and the way the driver handled the damage he caused. I expected professional service and basic accountability, and neither was provided. I will continue pursuing this matter until the damage to my vehicle is properly addressed.

I felt compelled to create this listing for this great company for two reasons... they saved our…read morebutts and were just so darn nice. Cliff (another mechanic here who's no longer in business) gave us their number. They were not on yelp at the time and I promised I'd add them. But first a little background... on day 4 of a cross country trip with my mom (CA to Michigan), we found ourselves stranded in our RV in Murdo, South Dakota... (near the super 8) on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, mechanics in this town are closed on Sunday as well. On Sunday morning, I called All Pro and talked to Carol (the owner's wife and pretty much the boss of the place) and she said all the mechanics were at a wreck at the boarder of Nebraska and that I needed to call back tomorrow (Monday) which we did reluctantly. I had also called the ford dealership, but they couldn't see us until 10:30am. Luckily we were able to jump start the car (thank you Alise the highway worker and her lovely husband to jump started us!) and bring it in. They do offer towing, but it's best to just get it in yourself. This was the fifth time our RV broke down on this trip... and every time I talked to a mechanic on the phone they said "it's the alternator." But when we brought it in to the other mechanics, they said, "The alternator is ok... it's something else." But then we'd break down again... almost every time it was the next time we turned off the car. I was inching my way across the US and at this rate we would get there in December. Well, the guys at All Pro pulled one off the battery cords and the car died.. confirming yes, it was the alternator all along! Finally someone was listening to me. We spent about 6 hours with this great little company and their community of characters -- I think this shop is the epicenter of the town. So many fun conversations - the neighbors (straight out of central casting for a small town nice guy) who want their classic cars towed.... the pastor was there... the banker down the street for a repo... seriously, this place is full of some great stories and just lovely people. The mechanics themselves are a hoot - down to earth and friendly as can be. Thank you Bud, Carol and your team of mechanics that saved our trip. We were able to make it to Michigan two days later. If you get stuck in this town (or nearby) I highly recommend All Pro Towing and Repair. The alternator was about $280 out the door.

My family was heading east on I-90 from visiting Badlands National Park when the tire pressure warning showed low tire pressure in one of the tires. I pulled off highway and noticed a nail or screw in the tire and knew we had to drive on the donut to get somewhere that could fix the flat. Unfortunately we were 900 miles from home and it was the Sunday before the 4th of July at 3pm in the afternoon so we figured we were going to be taking rural highways to the nearest large city of Sioux Falls in hope of finding some place open on the 4th of July. My wife called two of the closest places we found on Google maps and both had recordings that they were out until after the holidays. To our surprise, Vernard picked up the phone and said that they were closed, but to come on in and he'd take a look. We had to drive about an hour at 50mph on the spare tire and the gentleman not only waited for us, but called to check if we were OK during our hour drive. When we arrived, he had the tire fully repaired within 20 minutes of us arriving and then charged us his standard tire repair rate on a day when his shop was actually closed. We thanked him and gave him more than what he was trying to charge us and we were then on our way. A small 1.5 hour deviation from a family road trip was so worth it and showed myself and my family the importance of being kind humans to each other and served as a reminder to always go out of your way to help others in need.
