I told her a prom dress, and she asked me what size. I told her anywhere from 0,2, or even 4s work on me. She looked at me kind of funny, and showed me where they were. I started picking out dresses, so that I would be able to have them all to try on without having to put on all of my clothes and have to go BACK out , fully dressed to pick out more dresses, and for some reason that dissatisfied them. The sales lady looked at me after I had picked out 3 dresses all size 2, and with an ugly look, and told me I should "make sure your in the CORRECT size", as if saying I needed a bigger size. I ignored and kept picking out dresses. Then, ANOTHER sales lady walks over and implies the same thing, and tells me I should try the ones I already picked out ON, instead of picking out more. So, feeling like I had no other choice, I did. And every single dress was $375+ and all extremely long and did not fit correctly. As I was trying on dresses, the workers would knock on the door. And pressure me to come out, and a direct quote : "Are they even fitting?" . They only let you bring 3 in at a time so I had to get fully dressed and go back out to get the next 3, which was extremely aggravating and inconvenient. Again, they knock repeatedly and made me extremely uncomfortable, pressuring me to come out of the room. I walked out of the dressing room, and they asked why I didn't come out in any. (There's mirrors in the room). I told them all the dresses were too long, and didn't fit me correctly. The sales lady laughed at me, and said "Any dress you get, you'll have to get hemmed and have adjustments made". I left and found a perfect dress that needed NO HEMMING OR ADJUSTMENTS at david's bridal for half the price. Would not EVER recommend and would never step foot in there again.

This store racially profiles! This has happened to me 3 times in this store, but enough is enough!…read moreThis week, I had ENOUGH! The employees are clearly taught to not allow "certain people" to hold clothes in our hands while they're shopping. Everything I picked up was taken from me INSTANTLY under the premise of "let me just put this in your dressing room" -- even after stating I was good with holding them and I was looking to match the skirt with another top. The employee Holly then very artificially acted like she wanted to help me match the skirt and then quickly took the clothes from me. I was watched and monitored during my entire visit by Holly. Once I came out the dressing room, I noticed a woman who didn't look like me with an arm full of clothes not being harassed at all. DISGUSTING! Not to create a scene, I opted to address my concerns privately so I called back only to be provided a half apology by another employee with little empathy or concern. This employee took a message down from me for the owner, Kevin -- and of course, I've yet to receive a phone call back. He clearly condones the behavior. I will never ever take my hard earned money to this racist store again.

I was in a wedding that was less than 3weeks away. My dress had just come in (which took 6 months…read moreto arrive). It was suppose to be an off the shoulders. But my neckline was cut lopsided, the sleeves were too small plus they were sewn on too close to the chest part (it looked similar to a dolphin clapping its fins pretty much), the chest area was too big but the back was too small, extremely snug around the waist, & the zipper did not work properly. Every alternation's shop within Montgomery, AL had told me No. I didn't know anything about Patsy's or Prattville,AL. I found them online, I called, & I was told to bring the dress in. I was an Out of State grad student at the time. I can't remember the lady's name but I think she said she was Patsy's daughter. I brought the dress in on a Friday it was ready Sunday evening y'all. She was truly my fairy Godmother. She definitely Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo-ed on that dress. She also let me study on their patio (Omg such a beautiful scenery by the way) as she did some final touch ups. I will travel near or far to have my alternations done at Patsy's again. She was super nice and new exactly what needed to be done. They were also inexpensive. I THANK GOD FOR THAT LADY for making an ugly dress so beautiful. Definitely worth it!!
