The office continued to push to do the other side of the mouth even though it was explained that the original site had lingering pain and did not seem to be healing properly. Months later there are some serious health problems that have arisen due to an infection caused by the dental surgery. The current medical team that we are working with had asked about all past surgery's in the last year which included this dental surgery. When I called Utah Valley Periodontics to obtain information as to what type of graft was used and what medication and dosage was prescribed I was met with a manner that was both off putting and extremely offensive. My main point of contact and interaction was with the office manager. She thought she put me on hold but did not. Her language in the background was offensive and completely unprovoked. And then the line went dead. My questions were not accusatory in any way. Upon my calling back I received an apology and the rest of the information I needed. The apology did not even come close to making me feel better about the interaction. I would Never use or recommend Utah Valley Periodontics again. And, I would dismiss any office employee especially the office manager who would behave so badly and with absolute disregard for the patient on the other end of the line.

From the beginning, it was extremely painful, a truly a horrible experience. The first implant "fell out" once, and I had to go through the entire procedure again. The second implant fell out twice! It was a nightmare, painful, stressful, and completely miserable. Dr. Smith couldn't explain why this kept happening. At that point, I decided not to continue and went back to implant specialist office in Provo, where they fixed everything in just two visits. To make things worse, more than two years later, this office sent me to collections for that last visit (When he told me he didn't know why it kept happening), even though the procedure was never done correctly in the first place. It's unbelievable and completely unfair. These people have no shame.

I've been connected to the Medical Industry for over 40-years and have owned a consulting company that works with the profession for the last 10 years. It's not a boast that I've worked with the top doctors and dentists across the US over that time. Their is a very indiscreet building located in Provo, UT that perhaps has the very best dentists in the US (the staff just as good). Both, Dr's Wolfgram and Robinson are clearly at the top of their profession. If I might digress and relate a personal story that tells you WHY you need to consider them. My first wife passed away from a long illness 3 years ago. It was her desire to have her teeth repaired before she passed (she knew her time was short, but wanted her teeth to be perfect). Because of the multiple medications she was taking, took a toll on her teeth. It also required me to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep her alive. I'm certainly not destitute, but the medical/dental costs were draining. I had a visit with Dr. Robinson after my wife had passed to go over her dental costs (Dr. Wolfgram preformed much of the work). I certainly wasn't looking for a handout, just an explanation. I knew this man and what he said to me still resonates to this day...Clay, Kathy was a wonderful and happy person. It was always a joy to have her come into the office and make other people with problems wonder why they were complaining. I would ask that you just cover my cost of materials and supplies for the work we did. I was profoundly touched by this. Sorry for the long review, but WHEN you need dental work done correctly and with passion, please look for a building hidden behind a few others to find a Pearl of Great Price. Dr Nicholson allowed me to make 6 interest free payments which is great when you don't have dental insurance. The staff is competent and friendly. They are careful to acknowledge me as soon as I walk in. Dr Nicholson and his assistants are careful to give all information needed, and make sure I understood the whole procedure. Today I found out my impression for the crown will be a virtual impression, meaning no tray of goo in my mouth gagging me! That's it! He's my guy forever!

Add to the fact that if you have an issue Dr Tayler will be calling you in the days following to make sure you are doing OK and aren't having any issues. His hygienists and assistants as well of the rest of his staff are top notch and make the extra effort to make sure you are taken care of. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the guy to see.

The office manager told me "by law" they are required to take their own xrays for me to pay out of pocket for. She restated this nonsense three times. Having had extensive dentistry done (as a military family and im a paralegal) I WELL know there is no such law. I am astonished at someone who could lie adamantly directly to my face. Furthermore, they had a child going through a procedure next to my room, and I heard the child say "ouch, stop I need a break" and the assistant said "Oh you don't need a break, you're doing fine" and the child said "No, im scared" to which she said you're doing fine keep going. To not honor consent for a child was SHOCKING and disgusting. This place pushes boundaries and lies. So if that's your scene, go there. If not, elsewhere is best.
