Annoyingly there isn't a cash point here. The closest in this part of town is Tescos. They have newspapers, snack and magazines available as well as a microwave to heat up your purchases should they be able to hold a little heat. There's your usual car accessories as well as milk and other produce. In 2007 they were shut and investigated in a card cloning scam which slightly damaged the trust you might have in a large company. An arrest was made but I'm unsure of further details. I'm sure everything has been resolved but I'd still feel happier using cash just to be safe.

In my opinon, the fishmonger is amongst the best you will find anywhere with an excellent range of quality fish that is difficult to beat. The fruit and veg range is as good as it gets too, with good prices and an excellent choice. There is even an HSBC branch instore with helpful staff. On match days, the car park gets busy, but this is regulated with cameras fining those who overstay so you should be able to get a spot eventually! With the credit crunch hitting, more people are visiting Morrisons.....and with good reason.

There is not much one can say about a petrol station, but I have given this one five stars for…read moreseveral reasons: it is conveniently located north on a road leading from the city centre to the A14 and the Fens, which just happens to be my most direct route to and from work. It is accessible from both side of the road, yet there is rarely more than a couple of cars in the queue ahead of you. It has a shop, staffed by polite shop assistants, with the usual drinks, snacks and newspapers which by some miracle don't seem to run out until quite late in the day, even at weekends. Most importantly, charges at least a penny less per litre of petrol than any other in the area, including the supermarkets' stations - the fact that all the local taxis use it to fill up should be enough evidence for it being good value!

There is a care was attached to the garage this closes at 8 pm, it is a drive through. The garage sells a small selection of sandwiches,drinks,sweets cigs and car stuff. There is no customer toilets you would have to go over to the store which is open 24 hours. There is also a cash point located here with free withdrawal. Staff are ok some talk some ingnore you and carry one taling to their work mate while serving you.
