The staff know their product range extremely well and can often assist with simple queries regarding product usage. The store also offers a next day mail order service which is free on purchases over £50. I was shocked at Allerton's price, which was completely ridiculous. They were at least £5,000 more than four of the companies, who all priced roughly the same, even out-pricing Everest, which shocked me. They come out at almost £8,000 more than the others for replacing all the windows and doors. Based on these prices, I decided not to go ahead with them, as I don't think they can justify their prices, regardless how good they claim to be. They use Rehau windows, which a lot of companies use, so the only thing they can use for price justification, is their quality of installation.

The items are always kept well stocked and well organised. The staff at Home Bargains are friendly and are happy to help you find what you want within the store. The queues at the till are sometimes quite tong, but the staff often open extra tills at these times. Once you are at the front of the queue the staff serve you quickly and will help you pack your bags if you need the help. They are happy to chat whilst doing this. Things to look out for here: cheap hair dye and bottles of wine :)
