I remember shops like this when I was a kid, Bunner's is truly an aladin's cave of hardware and…read moretools, I can not remember a time when I have not found what I was looking for.(well someone found for me in the many wooden drawers) the last items were soft iron rivets for 'fork handles' the two Ronnies would be at home here, and a couple of billhook handles. I take my hat off to the ladies behind the counter that are just as knowledgeable as the guys. You can buy a handful of nails or just a few brass screws, this is a true gem of a hardware shop, great old fashioned values and excellent service, long might you continue.

The staff are knowledgeableand helpful with tips and information, if they haven't got it and can't get it they will attempt to find out where you need to go to find it. Although not 'Superstore' size the stock level are amazing and the personal service is first class. From a tack and beyond this is the 'DIY' shop with a difference.
