Let me first off saying this was the most unprofessional experience I've dealt with my entire tenure of being in business. This company { owner } Robert Harris offered a service that he couldn't provide. I reach out to him on June 8th to create a website paid the deposit on June 10th . Let me also note that he was recommended by someone he previously created a site for. He had given a discount due to this recommendation. He gave me a deadline of 14 days that the site would be completed, however he also stated during the creation process he would be reaching out to me to make sure he captured my vision for me site. I sent him over all content and information that he was requiring within the same day. In return he was suppose to be giving me updates I would call and never get him it was always we are in a staff meeting I would return your call so on certain occasion he would and I was constantly asking for the site info to finally on day 14 when the site was suppose to be completed he send over what he had created in which it wasn't anywhere toward the vision he and I discussed or geared toward my actual business or services I was providing. We spoke again and he knew how frustrated I was and he said that he would work on it over the weekend and would be in contact and for me to contact him, well I did... no answer at all! So I reached back out at this time we are 30 days in with no site and I asked to cancel the entire project and refund my deposit in WHICH HE AGREED, stating I would have it in a couple of days that was on July 13th. The person who referred me to him was now wanting to get involved because he stated to them that would do the return also. They have been contacting him and not getting a response and which now they are no longer going to do business with them. As of today July 25th still no refund no answer from this company at all. I have all documentation and email exchanges that occurred with this company for proof. WARNING PLEASE DON'T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ROBERT HARRIS THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND NOW FILING WITH SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO RECEIVE MY DEPOSIT-BACK OF 250.00 in which he stated would be processed and returned and I hadn't seen it yet. I regret the day I signed up with Vytocor. I have never, in my 40+ years of business, experienced such bad customer service. Vytocor represents itself as a professional web design company - however, the skill shown after months and months of design and re-design of my two websites is minimal - basic elements still do not work! As a matter of fact, just today, after months and months of changes, the link to one of my website shows up as "dead." The owner is an amateur representing himself as a professional. He is difficult to reach, does not follow through, he forgets to make all the changes he promises to make, he disappears for sometimes a week or more at a time without any communication whatsoever (this has happened twice), has excuses for everything that goes wrong - and he does not take any responsibility for his errors. The owner is neither a graphic designer nor a web designer. He has no vision and he can't execute what is instructed. He has lied to me about the problems with my website, always blaming some mysterious coding problem that he can never fix or a browser or whatever. The truth is that there ARE fixes, but he does not know HOW to make them - and he can't fix the code because he does not really know HOW to work in code! Finally after many months and countless hours of my time he has given me one really boring site on Wordpress that I could have designed myself and another site that remains buggy. I work for myself and I have lost countless hours trying to communicate the simplest solutions both in writing and via phone - often the same issues over and over and over again. It has literally taken months and I still have problems with even the newly designed site on WordPress. I have lost both business and time. Also his supposedly "tech support" person who allegedly is there to answer the owner's questions is unreachable for weeks - so work just gets ignored. For example, it has now been THREE weeks and simple banner links to another website are unfinished - and one is blank - Why? .... the owner does not check his work! The owner has reassured me time and time again that my satisfaction is important to him, often promising he will get back to me the next day - but he does not. His promises are not evidenced in his behavior or his work. I recently had a REAL professional look at my sites and the problems that remain - and he shook his head disgust saying, "I wish I could get my hands on this guy!" Yes, the prices are cheap - but don't be fooled - it will cost you more time than it's worth to go with this company. Find someone reliable - don't go with Vytocor - I wish I didn't! Now, since I'm stuck with the owner of Vytocor because of all the time I've already invested, let's see if he retaliates for this review by ignoring my further requests - wouldn't that be a professional reaction? My favorite local print company...super fast turnaround on design service and nice staff! I love the fact that you can talk directly with the owner of the company, and he's fully aware of the details of your order. I placed a design and print order for my wedding invitations. Though the company was working with a tight deadline, the service was amazing. The staff explained the entire design and print process to me, and always had reassuring answers for me whenever I contacted them for an update. The invitations were printed in short time and were distributed successfully, with the help of one of the volunteering staff members. This sealed the deal! As others have described, and agreement for services was reached, and an initial deposit of 50% was paid up front. The problem is product delivery. The Provider wants to blame the client for not providing requested information. But I gave him a sample website from a peer company in a completely different market and offered to edit the textual and other content prior to publishing. Furthermore, market industry research was part of the proposal. Website content was not the primary thing but rather setting up the secure portal logins, and web applications such as CRM, booking and accounting features. Website content was never the main issue. Was told about a month for completion. I will take responsibility for a 2 week delay, but we are now at over 2 months. I had a schedule appointment with the owner 04/05/2022 and he canceled last minute and did not reschedule. Finally, I selected the firm because they were located close to me, which the owner confirmed over the phone. I went to that office today. It is an "office sharing suite" and Vytocor is no longer located there. In other words, the address they have on their own website is bogus, as well as on Google. I really wanted this to work out, but I cannot conduct business until the web portal is finished. Now I am getting no response at all after confronting him on the misinformation regarding his physical address. Now I have lost 2 months, and cannot even project the opening of my business because the e-commerce web portal is a vital part of the business model, which the owner of Vytocor has knowledge of. I paid a deposit on my website to be completed by Robert Harris-the site owner, and he did not fulfill the deadline we agreed upon, he dodged contact attempts (saying his phone was stolen), lied about sending emails and receiving them, and threatened to sue me for slander if I told others of my TERRIBLE experience with his company .
