I thought that it was just a slow leak, but my mom, who doesn't always make the best decisions, said to just get a new tire. So that's what I went to Sullivan Tire to do. I told the guy behind the counter (whose name I wish I could remember) why I was there, and told him that I wanted a good tire, but not a super-top-of-the-line one. He could have just kept his mouth shut and let me spend money on a new tire, but instead he said that they'd check it first and see whether or not that was necessary. A short time later, he let me know that they'd found a nail in the tire, and that they'd removed it and patched it up. I was out of there quickly, and on the cheap (under $40). Can't ask for much more than that. I know where I'll be going next time I need tire service.

At first I pulled up to the shop expecting for me to put the air but then a man(employee) approached me and told me he can help me. He was kind and helpful. However, the other employees at this shop were rude. One seemed aggravated that the employee was helping me and then I guess the manager came out when he was done putting the air and asked him what was he doing. Then he proceeded to disconnect the air machine and said "no more air for customers." So rude. I felt embarrassed for the guy who helped me and honestly I just drove off and parked to write this review instead of expressing my feelings verbally. Be kind to your employees. The only reason you got one star is because of the kind man who helped me.

5 Stars - Trustworthy, Professional, and Woman-Friendly Auto Shop!…read more I found D&G Auto Repair thanks to the great Yelp reviews, especially from other women. My longtime mechanic had retired, and I wasn't sure where to go next until I discovered D&G Auto Repair on Yelp! In August 2025, I brought my car in for brake service (pads and rotors replacement). From the very beginning, I felt I was in good hands. Paulo, the manager, responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately. He was professional, kind, and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained everything in a clear, respectful way, something I truly appreciate. I felt a strong sense of trust that he genuinely cared about my car and my safety. When I arrived at the shop, Paulo was just as professional and kind in person. He made me feel confident in my choice to use to D&G Auto Repair. After I left my car, he followed up via text with an estimated bill before starting any work, which gave me peace of mind and control over the process. The shop itself is small but clearly run by expert technicians, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable, a nice bonus! I returned yesterday with a question about a noise I'd heard. Tony, one of the technicians, came out and personally walked around my car with me. He pointed out how clean it looked and even asked about repairs I had done elsewhere. He gave me a mini lesson on body repair which was surprisingly enlightening. He then gave me directions to the nearest Auto Parts store and Car Wash. That kind of extra care is rare and so appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend D&G Auto Repair, especially for women who are looking for a respectful, honest, and trustworthy place to bring their vehicles. I'll definitely be back!
