Out of most of the salons in Gallup I called, they were the only one to answer. I got my hair cut and styled by Mary, who did an amazing job. She took her time, which definitely paid off. The staff were friendly, tentative, and overall a great atmosphere during my visit.

On my first visit…read moreI wanted highlights added to my dark hair but the stylist gave me few highlights and there were large sections of my hair without highlights making me look like a skunk per se. I went the next day to change the skunk hairdo to blonde but the second stylist over bleached my hair and tired it white/grey. Luckily I didn't cancel my hair appointment in Albuquerque because I'll have to drive there to get my hair redone a third time. You get what you pay for and if you want to go to a Walmart salon then that's what you get.

Terrible. Visited with my father to buy a suit for my mother's funeral. This was the closest place…read morethat we could think of. My father uses a wheelchair. Upon entering, there was no button to push for the doors to open so we had to fight with the doors while trying to push him in or have someone hold the door for us. The aisles were NARROW for someone in a wheelchair. We needed help with getting his measurements but there was no one around. One guy saw us and knew we were shopping but didn't offer assistance. We went into their teeny, tiny fitting room which was not easy for someone in a wheelchair to use- it was a struggle. I asked if there was maybe another fitting room around and was told that that was the only one. There are no hooks inside the fitting room to hang your selections either. I expected it to be like the JCP in Flagstaff but it wasn't. I love JCP too.
