The waxing was done in a back area where there was food nearby and the door was left open. It didn't feel private, and when I asked for the door to be closed, the technician seemed irritated. She also made unnecessary comments about my eyebrows and decided to wax them first even though I didn't ask for that. The service took nearly two hours. She kept reusing the same small wax strips, and by the end there were patches of hair still left and sticky wax that wasn't cleaned off properly. She used cotton balls with oil, which left cotton strands stuck to my skin. Then she added an extra $10 charge that wasn't mentioned before. It would've honestly been better to just shave at least I would've gotten better results for free and saved time! Please go to a professional licensed aesthetician.

He refused to do my nails because about six months back he was painting them and the color on my nail versus what it looks like on the Lil chart we're completely different. The color was orange. I asked him if he could change it since it was only one fingernail that wasn't cured yet, and he got extremely upset and sent me to the other lady to get my nails done and ever since then he will not do my nails because I said the color didn't look right. I spend around $200 every couple weeks or so in the shop and have for probably more than six years but they are saying they don't care if they lose the money or a customer because he will not do what he needs to do when I come in.

So when I asked I he could fix the French manicure so it wasn't covering 1/3 of my nail the owner (the only one who speaks English) told him to take off the polish and charge me for a manicure and ask me to leave. Then she walks away.. I was in shock. I was not being rude or uptight and she didn't have to act like that. Do yourself a favor and don't EVER go to this place. I ended up at JHM Gym and spa and I am not happy with the mean LA nail lady but I'm so glad I found the pleasant ladies at the other salon :) I even got the body wrap!!!
