We met with a few contractors but my father was most impressed with Tagor because unlike the others who observed the roof from the ground, he actually brought a ladder and went up to the roof to assess. He offered what my father thought was a great price with a guarantee (five years, I think) and made an appointment to do the repair a day later. He showed up on time, and got the job done. Responsive, courteous, thorough and a fair price. What more could you ask for in a contractor?

They used some kind of steam vacuum on our carpet and the employee showed me how much dirt and grime was in our carpet after they finished. There was probably enough to fill a bathtub, I'm so glad to have that out of our office. Their pricing was very fair and they were able to come in after hours so they didn't get in anyone's way. I'd recommend them to anyone, I'm very satisfied with what I got.

I have to say, they are the most professional, friendly and dedicated team of workers I have come across. I dealt with Wiggy initially over the phone and then Wiggy's dad and brother (Josh) were assigned to get the job done. I know re-grouting may not be an intense task for some, but for many (including myself) who are not as handy, its a serious job which needs to get done right. Let's just say, Mr. Handy NYC (Wiggy's dad and Josh) did an amazing job. Josh spent approximately 2 days to ensure the job was precise and flawless. Unfortunately, after that things have gone significantly downhill. When the painters left they pushed all of my living room furniture to the middle of the room and said when the crew came back the following week to paint the baseboards and install the doors they'd put everything back. That happened on March 22nd. Since then, week after week they keep promising to try to come back and week after week they are no shows. I even explained to them that our building is expected to have a freeze on construction projects this week due to an impending strike so can they please wrap up this job before then, and they said yes but are now not responding to emails. I hope they ultimately make good on their service contract and I will update this review if that happens. For now, please steer clear, fellow yelpers.

I used the Yelp feature of getting bids from multiple companies. I wasn't sure it would work. It turned out better than expected. I conducted the entire transaction via text. Spotless was not the cheapest choice; I discarded that one. But it was priced reasonably. They showed up a bit later than expected, but it was fine. I assumed if I wasn't the first appointment, I should build in leeway. I wasn't in the unit. They sent before and after photos. I went back the next day. They did such a good job, I wanted to tip. The women who cleaned my apartment were punctual (actually early!) and very friendly. They loved my cat! They worked for about 4 hours and did a very nice job. I didn't give a full 5 stars because although my apartment is very nice and clean, I specifically was looking for a deeper clean which I don't think I received. I would certainly use the service again because they did excellent work, there was just a disconnect between what I would consider to be a normal cleaning and a deep clean.

When recent heavy rains occurred a few days after the project was completed and a few pavers sunk (not an uncommon occurrence and not related to their work), he arrived the next morning to fix them.
