Great collection. We visited the Voss Folkemuseum on a dry Thursday morning in August, and we encountered about 15 people in the 50 minutes we spent here. One thing to note is Google maps had trouble finding the museum, so I would follow the signs from town instead of Google maps. The Voss Folkemuseum has a lovely view of the nearby valley and features a collection of historical artifacts from Voss originating between the 16th and 20th centuries, a collection of woodworking tools, and 19th century farm buildings. There are placards in English and Norwegian for most of the objects and all of the descriptions of the buildings are in English. I was impressed with what I saw and would recommend the Voss Folkemuseum to those interested in local history. read more
