The shelves are always empty. The produce and meat is subpar. Most of the checkers are rude.

They remember me and always give me prompt and accurate updates on medications that I'm in need of.

In a pinch, CVS Pharmacy has got what you need at decent prices with occasional discounts or deals…read morebenefiting frequent buyers. Situated in its own dedicated parking lot along the main road within Solana Beach, CVS gets quite a bit of foot traffic from pedestrians out on their daily walk, run, and swim. The lot is typically vacant for shoppers so it's a convenient stop to get things quick. I came in specifically to stock up on sunscreen during my visit to San Diego county as I had forgotten to pack it in my luggage. When you're in sunny San Diego, you better lather up before you burn! As I walked in the store, the staff greeted me and as I was browsing the aisles, they inquired and directed me to where I needed to go for the sunblock options. I appreciated them taking time out of their morning restocking and inventory runs to help me out. The sunblock section was organized and had nearly every brand you could have wanted including the Blue Lizard one we typically use. Sprays and lotions were available with varying SPF ratings. To top things off, many of them had deals to earn you additional CVS cash that can be used at the store for future purchases. When I went to go pay, they primarily had self checkout kiosks. It was quick and easy but should you need any assistance, the staff are at the ready to get you sorted. Overall, CVS shines in its convenience and this one is well stocked for all of your everyday needs. What truly makes the difference for me was the level of customer service offered from the first step in the store to the checkout process. I was satisfied with my experience with the store because of its friendly staff and the abundance of options for each type of item. When the need arises, CVS has what you need when you need it!

THIS location deserves special mention because of their customer service . Customer experience is in the minutest of details. Marshall, the store manager, and Jason, sales person, I appreciate you both. Untrained employees with bad attitudes. DO NOT order 4x6 inch, etc photos to be picked up here…read more They somehow lost 2 out of 3 orders I ordered via Shutterfly.com at home. I got email that 1 hour photos were ready for pick up. I got there and couldn't find them. Fine- then immediately reprint them. Employee printed out the WRONG batch. Ended up waiting over ONE HOUR for my photos to come out, because she claimed there were many orders ahead of mine on their computer system. Instead of just apologizing and giving them to me for like HALF off or even compting them, threw me an attitude. Drastically understaffed and untrained. Everything is locked up at this store. Bad Vibes.

Right away they told me they were closed and could not help me. The man behind the counter was already in the process of closing out registers.... Which means he started to close out the registers way before 6:00pm. They refused to help me. The girl at the counter and the man at the pharmacy were very rude and totally disrespectful. What store doesn't help the only customer in line one minute after they closed??? Does CVS corporate know that they are closing the registers before the actual closing time? I've had it with CVS. Using a private pharmacy from now on.

My wife and I live in San Diego - her folks in Orange County and her 90 year old grandfather lives in Temecula...It takes them almost 2 hours to get to him and us about forty..and in a typical situation that would be fine - but he has had a double knee replacement surgery, his dog just died and his amount of exercise is down. (he is not walking as well as he used to) After much prodding and urging (almost two years) from the family he agreed to get a medical alarm system. At first he did not want to wear it because he felt that it made him look frail to have a pendent around his neck...and we called Pioneer and they were able to help us get a system with a more discreet pendent and one he can wear in the shower. Extremely satisfied with the level of service and attention, and we feel better having him connected to emergency services AND us at just the click of a button.
