We were supposed to be sent our akc paperwork and to our disbelief the company went out of business. No way to be contacted at all. Al social media was shut down, phone numbers everything. My experience with Von Emerson kennels was nothing less than perfect. I sought out these kennels as a first time dog "shopper"/owner and was filled with millions of questions and expectations of finding my dream puppy. Brian knew exactly the type of puppy I was looking for (looks/temperament) and he stopped at nothing short to find me that. He kindly and patiently answered all my questions, continued to keep me in the loop with the process, and ensured me that perfect "welcome home" I had always envisioned. The week my puppy came the weather was in the middle of a heat wave and was unable to fly him out to me, so Brian yet again, worked beyond his measures to have his driver meet me half way to NY so I could have my baby sooner. I was over filled with joy when I met my puppy, Bo, as I truly never envisioned a more perfect long-haired GSD. Not only is he gorgeous, but his temperament is comical, love-able, but mostly so much fun. ETREMELY hard to get a hold of. Will not Answer calls or text messages. Wont even respond to FB messages. I've seen a few other reviews that talk about how they never respond. We bought our German Shepherd puppy from Von Emerson Kennels in March of 2018. We never received his papers and for the past year we have been dealing with major health problems. Initially when we reached out to them regarding the papers they kept telling us they were on the way. Now they aren't responding at all. I contacted them multiple times and asked traditional questions you'd ask a breeder. At best I'd get one question answered at a time. I then sent a Facebook message about how to get on their waitlist, then heard nothing. Finally, I sent a deposit to them, and still heard nothing and had to pay money to cancel the check. I paid von emerson Kennels 2 payments a total of 1000 dollars for a german shepherd puppy on 8/1/2017 and then a few days later I had heart problems and I knew I could not take care of a new puppy so I asked Brian Emerson to cancel my purchase transaction and refund me the 1000 dollars that I paid him . He refused to refund me one penny . I requested a refund and tried to text him and call him and email him but he ignored me and did not respond to my requests and kept all the 1000 dollars and refused to refund me anything . So I ended up with no puppy and a loss of 1000 dollars . Stay away from Von Emerson Kennels / a very bad choice to buy from .
