He has a lot of ladies rings, men's rings, and other gold jewelry. I'm certain he buys gold too. The great thing about this shop is the entire atmosphere. The establishment is a small, dingy shop with a wrap around glass showcase. Behind and around this showcase is usually filled with a handful of men who are sitting around discussing things and jokingly encouraging you to purchase all you can. The men are always very nice and super friendly and kind to my teen and young adult sons. The men indulge me by sifting through all the rings and allowing me to try on a handful during each of my visit. I believe the prices are equivalent to most pawn stores.

It has never given me any issues. Recently, we paid a couple of visits to sell some odds and ends just to make a few bucks. I honestly was a bit skeptical because usually pawn shops are pretty picky when it comes to buying items... But so far, this is the ONLY pawn shop in the area that doesn't rip you off. They give you your money's worth, and usually give you what you're asking. If not, they make an amazing deal with you. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and understanding. I'm so glad we made the choice to sell to Hickory Pawn! I'm not the only person extremely satisfied though, my husband, my aunt, my mother in law, and my dad all FOUR love this pawn shop!
